寒假期间，我读了《史记》这本书，这是爷爷读过的书，里面有许多令人回味的故事。其中，我最喜欢《舜的传奇》和《大禹治水》这两个故事。故事是这样的：

虞舜，名叫重华，当时他的后母生了一个弟弟叫象，舜在家里的地位一落千丈，稍微犯点错误，就会被父亲责罚，家人对他很是苛刻，但是他却经常以德报怨，做一个好儿子、好兄长，他恭顺地侍奉父亲和后母，对象也是处处忍让。因此在舜20岁的时候，就已经因为孝顺而盛名天下了。

当时的统治者尧准备找一个继承人，很多大臣推荐了舜，因此尧对舜进行了一番考察，并且把自己的女儿娥皇和女英许配给舜，把自己的儿子也搬迁到舜的隔壁做邻居，尧发现他的儿子和女儿并没有因为出生贵族而对舜和舜的家人傲慢无礼，这都是受到了舜的影响。因此尧就把舜召到身边学习怎么管理天下，果然，交给舜的事情，舜总是能很好地完成，尧死后，舜就成了国家的统治者。

舜在位期间，洪水泛滥，他启用了大禹，禹经过细心地考察，用了疏而不是堵的方法，把洪水引进大江大海大湖，因此洪水很快就退去了。舜死后，禹就成了新一任的天下管理者。

在故事中，我特别喜欢舜和禹。舜是中华民族的道德始祖，以孝闻名，是德的化身，他谦恭礼让，以德报怨，孝敬父母，仁爱宽厚，这些都是中华民族的传统美德，在这个故事中，我受到了启迪，“修身，起家，治国，平天下”，舜就是这样实践着，努力着，成功着，因此在自己的人生道路上，我更要去学习和践行。

大禹治水的故事天下闻名，他以身作则，与群众同甘共苦，在外治水13年，三过家门而不入，他这种刻苦耐劳，遇到困难运用智慧解决的精神，坚持不懈的精神都值得我们去学习，我们学生在学习的时候也要秉承这种精神，“坚持不放弃”，“运用自己的智慧和知识去解决难题”，这样才能获得丰硕的果实。

中华五千年的文化源远流长，《史记》里有许多故事许多人物都值得我去学习，读书增长了我的知识，丰富了我的生活，以后，我还要读更多的书，让更多的故事来激励我的成长!

今天上午，我和妈妈来到了太仓大剧院观看绘本剧大赛。

我满怀喜悦的走进了剧院的门口。哇，好大的剧院啊！里面人山人海，座无虚席。

一会儿，绘本剧开始了。其中我印象最深的是由几个小朋友表演的《愚公移山》这个绘本剧：愚公家门前有两大座山挡着路，他决心召集众名把山给铲平掉，但是有一个自以为聪明的大姐笑他太傻了，认为不可能把山给铲平。愚公说：“我死了有儿子，儿子死了还有孙子，子子孙孙无穷无尽的，两座山终究会被铲平的。再说，只要我们大家团结起来，就算是泰山也是会被我们铲平的！”愚公这番话感动了天上的雷神，所以雷神助了愚公一臂之力，把山给铲平了。

是啊！俗话说得好“人心齐，泰山移。”只要人们心向着一处，共同去像一个目标努力，就能发挥出可以把泰山给移动的巨大无比的力量，克服任何困难。

说到这里，我便想起了一件事儿——一天，我正在津津有味地吃着薯片，这时，几只蚂蚁在我眼前慢慢地爬着，它们不时得环顾四周，我猜想它们是在找些食物，为了确定，我便拿出一片薯片放在它们周围，好让它们发现，并且运走。在我把薯片放在地上的那一刻，我产生了疑问：我拿比蚂蚁大好几十倍甚至好几百倍的薯片让蚂蚁运，它们运得动吗？只见那几只蚂蚁在薯片旁边转来转去，很显然它们对这庞然大物一点办法也没有。“真是热锅上的蚂蚁团团转啊！”我见了之后就这样认为的。但是接不来的一幕使我的想法一下子改变了。我进屋喝了一杯茶，出来继续观察，只见那几只蚂蚁又回来了，但来的不仅仅是几只而已，而是那几只蚂蚁“调”来了一支蚂蚁“部队”来搬运这“泰山”，很快地，这片薯片就被这一群蚂蚁运走了。

我望着这群蚂蚁，一下子愣住了。它们不正像绘本剧上的愚公他们一样有着团结的精神吗？我们在这个世界上就必须学会互相帮助，集体的力量是伟大的！“人心齐，泰山移。”呀！

对于中国考生来说，英文写作一直是最为头疼的事情之一。那么考生为什么会畏惧英文表达呢？为什么有些考生背了一两万个单词却仍然写不出好的文章呢？找到了这一系列问题的答案，就真正抓住了提高写作能力的关键。

英文写作困境可以归纳为三类：

困境1：面对一个题目，根本无话可说，即便用中文，也写不出内容。

困境2：有话可说，有内容可写，但英文表达支离破碎，完全不能用英文阐释清楚自己的观点。

困境3：有话说，也能用英文表达出要表达的意思，但写出来的语言“满篇尽带Chinglish（中式英语）”。

那么该如何走出困境，真正并有针对性地提高语言表达能力呢？答案很简单，只有两个字——素材！

面对一个话题，考生之所以无法写出连贯的文字，是因为缺少写作素材。那么素材是什么呢？其实也就是我们所说的“言之有物”中的“物”。无论是四、六级写作，还是考研写作，或是雅思、托福、GRE、GMAT、SAT写作，考生之所以无法取得高分，根本原因在于其日常积累的英文论证素材以及论据素材过于贫乏，根本无法将零星散落于大脑各个角落不成体系的素材组合起来，形成一篇逻辑严密、语言优美地道的文章。因此，英文素材的积累和素材库的建立可以真正帮助中国英语学习者和广大英语考生提高写作能力，走出英文表达困境。

正如前面所提到的，英语写作素材包含两类：一类是论证素材，即对于论点进行理论分析的素材。例如：论证竞争机制的重要性、论证环境保护的必要性、论证艺术的价值等。一类是论据素材，即可支持论点的相关事例。例如：“钻石教父”雷维夫与DeBeers公司的竞争促进了整个钻石行业的发展这一事例，可用来支持“竞争机制的重要性”的论证；引用美国政府参与环境保护的例子可佐证“环境保护的必要性”；贝多芬、巴赫、凡高的例子可说明伟大的艺术家们的艺术作品是如何推动人类文明发展的，并用以例证“艺术的价值”。

其实，只要多掌握适用于写作测试的英文写作素材（论证素材+论据素材），就已经为写出有理有据的文章打下了良好的基础，这也是写作的前提。因为，任何语言学习，或者说任何学习过程，都遵循“输入—输出”模式。如果没有输入，则永远不可能有输出；若没有好的输入，则永远不可能有好的输出。因此，语言学习有一条永恒不变的真理：不听永远不会说，不读永远不会写。这里的“听”和“读”就是输入环节，“说”和“写”就是输出环节；只有输入了好的英文素材，才能在需要的地方进行输出。

I went skiing with my friends on Sunday. It was my very first time to try this super interesting sport. I really enjoyed skiing A LOT, and I think that I have potential!!! 在这美好的九月份里同学们迎来了一年一度的开学时光，岁月的时光总是那么不留人，而在这正华青春的时光当中更要珍惜学习的时间，暑假愉快的时间已经悄然成为了过去式，迎接我们的是新的梦想，新的追逐成就点，那么在开学前有一个特别值得我们广大人民学习的公益节目，特别是青少年学生们，基本是为广大学生量力定制的。便是《开学第一课》了，说起开学第一课的话相信很多广大的学生并不会陌生，它是一个历史与实际相结合的公益节目，是通过历代往年的中励志博扬的事情进行改编而成，属于真实情况的代表，只是想通过电视的节目形式来呈现出来，让广大的青少年学生利用这次的机会来学习，激发个人的爱国，为国贡献的斗志。

为此才开展此节目的，从08年开始到现在每一年的故事都是振奋人心，看得我们热心彭博，激情澎湃，无论是爱国励志，抗震救灾，还是青少年孝敬父母，爱国情怀，筑梦未来都是给人带来了一种热血激情的震撼人心，这使得我们可以通过这些节目来更好的，更全面的认识祖国的面貌。

今天8点的时候观看了开学第一课心情是久久不能平静的，正是这样才是见证了祖国的强大，为此我们需要努力学习致使为祖国拣来做出伟大的贡献，加油

为此这为什么要在开学前特意安排好的公益节目呢。也让我们在未来学习当中拥有一个好的学习目标和榜样吧，借此利用这种学习的状态来植入更多的学习知识。

而开展《开学第一课》是想告诫我们祖国一路上走来是离不开我们人民辛苦的付出和无私的奉献，特别是我们身为祖国未来年轻的希望，更具有代表性意义的适合人选。因此我们不能白白浪费祖国现任对我们的培养，更不能在这光华的时代里欢度时光，因充分利用此机会努力学习更多，更有用的知识好将来能为祖国做出贡献。

五千年的灿烂文明史，作当代的青少年，我们无一不为之感到自豪。可试问，你知道我们应该怎么做吗?感恩祖国，是一种敬与爱的交织，更是一份责任!我们需要挑起这个担子，将中国文化推广到世界。

January 25th Saturday

Today mother took me to skate. I was very happy. But I hadnt expected I

fell down as soon as I got in. Today I didnt know why my two feet were out of

control. If I wanted to head east， they would head the opposite. I fell down

from time to time. My hands and face were all dirty. I thought maybe it was

because that I hadnt skated for a long time.

On my way home， I thought that whatever one wants to do， he must work hard

at it， so he can make progress. Skating is like this， so it study.

Dear Christmas father:

Christmas Day falls on the twenty-fifth of December.It is a very happy day

for many boys and girls .Before the term ends in some schools ,the children act

a nativity or “birth” play,showing how Jesus was born in a stable.

On the twenty-fourth of December,all children are very excited.Usually they

are sent to bed early so that their parents can get the presents ready.The

younger children think that Father Christmas will come down the chimney or

fireplace ,so they hang up a sock for him to put presents in.The greedy ones

even hang up a pillow-case or a sack to try to get more presents.Later that

night,Father or Mother will put presents in the sock,and leave others at the

side of the bed.

On Christmas morning,the children wake up very early.Some even turn on the

light at two oclock,and most of them are awake by six oclock although it is

not light in England for another hour or two at this time of the year.Children

look for their presents,and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared.At

about one oclock in the afternoon,the Christmas dinner is brought in.The turkey

or chicken is quickly eaten.Children search in their Christmas pudding for new

coins which are hidden in it.The rest of the day is full of games and eating

until the happiest of all Christmas hollidays comes to an end.
