Its the third Sunday in June again, and its the holiday Ive been looking

forward to for a long time - Fathers Day.

小时候，每到端午来临，母亲及邻居那些阿婶阿姨们便忙碌着包裹粽子。箬竹叶、糯米、绿豆、红豆、花生、肥猪肉？？熊熊燃烧的柴火烘烤着黑色的大铁锅，粽子的香味漫漫蒸腾着，缭绕着热闹的老屋庭院，飘逸在幽幽的古巷深处，隐约于雀跃的童声之中，那种情境曾深深地烙在心间，成为一种难以忘怀的端午印记。

龙舟竞渡是端午节必不可少的项目，特别是在珠三角地区可以说是端午节中最大的活动项目。赛龙舟，广州人称为“扒龙船”，历史源远流长，并形成很多习俗。据介绍，20世纪30年代前，在四月初八的浴佛节便将去年端午节后沉入涌底的龙船起出，俗谚谓“四月八，龙船随海滑”。30年代以后，逐渐改为五月初一才起出龙船。有一段顺口溜的俗语：“初一龙船起，初二龙船忍，初三初四游各地，初五龙船比，初七初八黄竹岐，初九初十龙船打崩鼻。”反映的就是广州附近端午龙舟的习俗。在整个过程中，初五是赛龙船的高潮，得胜者可获赏全只烧猪与赏银元。初八各乡龙船多集中到市郊黄竹岐进行表演比赛，因那时黄竹岐地方有一座龙母庙，初八为龙母诞。随着社会的变迁，一些习俗也与时俱进，19XX年，广州市政府正式确定五月初五的龙舟活动为龙舟节，以将这种传统文化发扬光大。

整个龙舟活动包括：起龙、下海、赛龙和收龙。起龙亦称为祭龙，即是在临近端午时，将埋于河床中的龙舟挖出，擦洗干净、修整重新上彩、点睛，装上龙头龙尾；下海亦称游龙，亦即是将龙舟放下水中划出河面；赛龙即是进行龙舟比赛；收龙，是指比赛结束后，将龙舟沉于福地之中，等来年再起龙，俗称为收龙子。在这个过程中，每个环节都需要在宗祠、庙宇中进行各种拜祭等活动，规矩繁多，或各地习俗有所不同。

远处，随着江风隐隐传来阵阵的鞭炮轰隆和锣鼓喧天之声，偶尔还能听到龙舟手们兴奋的吆喝，惹得游人个个翘首以待。等候了一会仍不见附近龙舟的到来，有点急不可耐了，于是向村民询问相关龙舟走亲探访（龙舟拜会）的情况。村民们说端午节前附近村落的龙舟都会互相走亲探访，具体到来的时间很难确定，以

目前听到的锣鼓声，应该是在新造、穗石村一带，估计要过多一两个时辰才能到这里。于是我们急匆匆奔向穗石村，果然村民所言非虚，到达穗石村时，江边码头附近已龙舟云集。龙舟均来自附近村落――土华、小洲、官洲、长洲、深井、仑头、北亭等村，各大姓氏的龙舟帅旗飘扬，一派鞭炮齐鸣，锣鼓喧天的景象，热闹非凡。江上龙舟或靠岸小憩，或彼此道贺，或在江中竞渡，相互比划一番，来往穿梭好不热闹。只见在江中比划的龙舟，锣鼓手站在龙舟中部，一声声号子，一锤锤鼓点，有板有眼，时急时舒，桡手们（又称划手）听令而动，挥桡划桨，迅楫齐驰；招子手稳立舟尾，眼观八方，把舵定航，一副胜券在握的智者风范。鞭炮烟雾弥漫，岸边、码头观众如云；鞭炮声、锣鼓声、吆喝声、欢呼声，缭绕江岸，场面之壮观，声势之浩大，气氛之热烈，场面之震撼，令人惊叹。

不经意间已到正午，龙舟仍然陆续有来，大队龙舟一轮欢聚之后，陆续向南亭、市头方向继续行程。这回应该轮到南亭村热闹了，于是我们又骑车折返南亭村渡口。返抵时，这里已经是人声鼎沸，锣鼓喧天。南亭村对开的江面上，分布着两个树木葱郁的小岛，显得江面相对狭窄，过往龙舟更靠近岸边；加上江边古榕蔽日，紫荆点缀，葱葱郁郁；不远之处，高架桥如天堑飞越珠江两岸，景色秀美。所以，游人更加喜欢聚集在这里，气氛显得更加浓烈。

龙舟相聚，喜气洋洋，令这个本宁静而弥漫书香气息的大学城多了几分热闹，传统文化的宣扬更令大学城充满生机。现代与传统文化的揉合，都市与乡村的交融，是一种平衡，一种和谐，令这个小岛更加多姿多彩。

然而，在建设大学城之初，这里却因征地、拆迁等问题导致村民与政府发生历时多年的激烈冲突。面对当今社会，有时候总令人产生一种困惑――政府可任由外国的可乐文化、快餐文化？？不断对国人的思想观念进行蚕食，乃至我们的教育、传媒自觉不自觉地宣扬“外国的月亮更圆”的谬论。小谷围岛上的原有村落少说也沉积了上千年的历史，一砖一瓦，一草一木都蕴含着千百年沧桑的岁月，说其是岭南历史文化的瑰宝，或当之无愧。为什么当初非要将原住的村落搬迁？直至今日，仅剩的四条村落靠马路边的外围都用高高的铁皮围蔽，难道政府部门认为这些古村落有碍观瞻么？事实上，今日的大学城令游人向往，除了现代化的学府林立之外，引人入胜的岭南古村落文化也是一大原因。对于一些喜欢了解人文风俗、寻古探史的人而言，或许这些传统的古村落文化更令人心动。

龙舟飞渡，粽子飘香。自然而然使人联想起二千多年前那位忧国忧民的大诗人屈原。端午节就是为纪念这位战国时代楚国诗人而诞生。中国唯一一个以纪念一个人而延续了二千多年的节日，可以想象屈原在国人心目中的那种地位是多么崇高！“路漫漫其修远兮，吾将上下而求索。”是屈原胸怀鸿鹄之志的真实写照；“长太息以掩涕兮，哀民生之多艰。”是屈原忧国忧民的心声，是千百年来屈原永生于老百姓心中的情结。端午节，传承着一种情怀，悲壮而凄美，气吞山河。它向世人所传达的，是一个诗人忧国忧民、热爱故土的高尚风格。端午节，沉淀了一种精神，厚重而坚实，历久弥新。它向世人所阐述的，是一个勇士不畏暴虐、坚持斗争的伟大壮举。两千多年来，无论是太平盛世还是兵荒马乱，无论是刀耕火种的蛮荒社会还是今天科技如日中天的时代，老百姓对屈原的敬仰始终如一，从未改变，这其中的原因是否值得我们的当权者细细思量？

读书是一种好习惯，作家高尔基曾经说过：“书籍是人类进步的阶梯。”我们总能在书中汲取知识，明白道理，得到人生的启示。而好文章也有同样的效果，反复阅读后往往让人回味无穷，记得有一篇《周处除三害》就是我最喜欢的文章。

这篇文章讲述了三国时东吴名将周鲂之子周处，他年少时横行霸道，为祸乡里，与河中蛟龙、山上猛虎并称“三害”。百姓为除“三害”，夸周处武艺高强，劝他去除“二害”。周处为显示自己有能耐，就上山射杀猛虎，后下河与蛟龙搏斗，但三天三夜没回，村民以为周处与猛兽同归于尽了，奔走相告，全村欢庆。结果周处杀死蛟龙后从水中出来了，他听说大家以为自己已死而对此庆贺，才明白自己一直也被当作一大祸害，从此痛改前非。后来周处拜陆云为师，可觉得自己的岁月已经荒废，怕不会有什么成就。陆云说：“古人认为哪怕是早晨才明白道理，晚上就死去也甘心。只要能立志，就不怕前途没希望。”于是周处刻苦读书，注重品德修养，官至御史中丞，死后追赠平西将军，千古留名。

读到这里，我恍然大悟：人是可以转变的，只要能认识到自己的错误，并且下定决心改正，浪子也可以回头，无论何时都不算晚，一定能成为一个有用的人。

五一假期，我再次捧起这本书，再读这篇文章，猛然顿悟，联想到已经11岁的自己，平时做作业时老不专心，容易受环境的影响开小差，爸妈一次又一次地教育我，做事要用心，不能心不在焉，可是我总改不掉这个坏习惯，特别让父母操心。由此看来是我立志不够坚决，对重要的事情不够重视，就算自己认识到了，也没能在行动上真正实行起来。其实我也很懊恼，对自己一而再，再而三的重蹈覆辙感到羞愧，把所有的良言都当成耳旁风，这些都是很不应该的。我应该对每件事都保持平常心，调整自己的注意力，控制好自己的情绪，专注于完成手上的功课与学习，相信我通过不断地努力，夯实自己的决心，一定能获得成功!

所以，喜欢的文章多读几遍，每次都会有不一样的收获，它将使我终身受益!
