The pace of the new year is getting closer and closer, and my hopes and expectations for the new year are growing.

First of all,I need to greatly improve my English in this semaster,for I’m already in Junior 2 now,and there’s no time to waste.

I’m really not good at English,and I think there’s a long road ahead of me.I am thinking about taking a TOEFL course on weekends to prepare for entering college.Besides,I need to learn something from my life,for example,I can read some kind of English books,watch some Enghlish movies etc.

On another hand,I wanna improve my spoken English,cuz its a kind of language which is used to communicate with others,but not just a subject that can prove I am a good student.My plan for the future is to study abroad,so the skill of spoken Enlish is really important to me.

Chinese new year is a chinese traditional festival. We also call it the spring festival. It is on lunar january 1st.

On new years eve, all the people sit around the desk and have a big family dinner. There are some vegetables, some fish, some meat, some fruits and some drink like juice, coke, pepsi and some nice wine. Overall, this is a good and delicious dinner. After dinner, we always watch tv new year progammes. We have a wonderful evening on new years eve.

On the first day of the spring festival, most of people get up early and say “happy new year” to each other. for breakfast, people often eat dumplings and baozi. After breakfast, people often make many delicious foods, and children often play cards, computer games and fireworks. On the second and third day, we visit friends and relatives.

Everyone is busy on chinese new year, and everyone is happy, too.

春节是中国的传统节日。我们也称它为春节。它是在农历1月1日。

在新年前夕,所有人围坐在桌子上,有一个大的家庭晚餐。有一些蔬菜,一些鱼,一些肉,一些水果和一些喝果汁、可口可乐、百事可乐和一些不错的葡萄酒。总的来说,这是一个很好的和美味的晚餐。晚饭后,我们总是看电视节目。我们有一个美好的晚上在新年前夕。

在春节的第一天,大部分的人早起,说“新年快乐”。早餐,人们经常吃饺子和包子。早餐后,人们常常做出许多美味的食物,和孩子经常打牌,电脑游戏和烟火。第二和第三天,我们拜访亲戚、朋友。

在中国新年每个人都很忙,每个人都是快乐的,也是。

又快过年了，今年我想一定要送给父母新年礼物。我谋划了很长时间了，我想今年要送给母亲一串珍珠项链。家里以前很穷困，母亲一年也买不了两次新衣服，更别说项链等这样的物品了。在我的记忆中她没有任何的首饰，现在家里虽然不算特别富裕，可是还是希望母亲和别人一样，有一些首饰。

父亲也经常喝酒，但是自己在家从不喝酒，就是过年要不是我要求，也不喝，所以给他买酒也不能做到只给父亲喝。这次我准备给父亲买一台血压计。我记得父亲血压高已经有两三年了，每次问到他病情他总是说没事，天天吃的降压药。但是我发现天天吃也是不科学的，应该有监测的吃，也有人吃过几天降压药就会太低了。

说实话，做儿女的能为父母做的很少很少。他们养育我们二十多年，我们又能为他们做一些什么呢?其实我知道，父母什么礼物都不需要，只要我们能回家过年他们就会感到很幸福。可是，如果没有这一点点礼物我们又怎么能够表达我们儿女对父母的感恩之情呢?我想对父母说，“爸爸，妈妈，礼物虽小，饱含深情，请您笑纳!”

新年到了，敬爱的老师为我们每位小朋友准备了一份非常漂亮的新年礼物，它是一个个颜色各异的文件袋。我收到的是一个黄色的文件袋，这是我最喜欢的颜色，我好开心啊!

老师为什么要把文件袋作为礼物送给我们呢?我想老师肯定是希望我们每天能认认真真第按时完成老师布置的作业，并将作业整理得整整齐齐放进这美丽的文件袋里。还希望我们能在这学期的期末考试中考出一个好成绩，然后开开心心地过春节。

我一定不能辜负老师的期望，努力考出一个好成绩来回报老师这一学期辛勤的培养，并在新的一年里更加努力学习，天天向上，学会很多很多本领和知识，将来为祖国作出贡献。
