Environmental Protection No one，regardless of race, religion or nationality, can deny that the world we live in is becoming increasingly intolerable because of the effects of global warming. According to many experts, even greater impacts are still on the way. There are numerous causes for this problem. On one hand, human-related emissions of carbon into the atmosphere is causing, and will in the future cause, significant global warming according to the theory. On the other hand, the lack of knowledge about the importance of protecting environment hinders the solving of the problem. It is urgent that immediate and effective actions should be taken right away. First, more trees need to be planted to help improve and beautify the environment. Mr Shao taught me English when I was in Senior Three.With the bald head and hunchback, the fifty or some man distinguished himself from his counterparts in many ways.

He was so addicted to tobacco that he couldn`t even skip acigarette in the corridor at the interval between two classes. Due to the long time consumption of cigarettes, his teeth had gone totally bad and occasionally let off unpleasant smell which really disturbed us when we were talking to him. It worked on us instantly.

On the day of the entrance exam, he waited nervously with us out of the examination room.  He kept reminding us not to drink water in case that we would feel like going to toilet during the exam. Not withstanding his constant claims that we students were far less important than his beloved daughter, we did feel his devotion to us.

Miss Hou is my university English teacher. Her English name is Jenny. She looks so weak that a strong wind may blow her away. She is not too tall, about 150cm. She is experiened of English teaching. She teaches me for three years.In the other word, she is the only English teacher during my high school study. She is special. She will show an English song to us before her class. However,I just have to admit that what I just describe is really dream.Now living in SD I cant figure out what I pursue and make a feasible career planning.So many young cynics in this schoolyard  argue for something meaningless.Worse still,the academic atmosphere has already done with nothing left.I havent found a busy but rich thing to try my best.As a matter of fact,I even cant choose a lifestyle I prefer.What a tragedy it is between dream and reality.

I am so looking forward to my college life. I have pictured it thousands of

times in my mind. The free lifestyle and lively parties are always appearing my

mind. The great expectation of campus life endows me a lot of passion to keep

study. After two years’ study, I would find my lifestyle.

The first thing for me is to learn more knowledge. Most students find a way

to release themselves and skip or sleep in the class. They think study is just

the task, so they give up improving themselves and take part in all kinds of

activities, which bring them great joy. The wrong conception about college stage

makes most students miss the best time to equip themselves with skills. I

realize my job and dare not to loose study.

The second thing for me to learn is to make friends by joining activities.

tennis. The lucky thing is that I know many nice people and we become good

friends, who make my college colorful.

Weekends to people mean that people can have two days‘ rest. They can go out or get together at home.
