在夏日，空调为人们带来凉爽，但同时，也使我们的环境发生变化——空调排风散热器产生的大量浊气——氟里昂会破坏大气臭氧层，更会导致周边环境的恶化。不仅如此，大气层遭破坏，阳光、紫外线更强烈地射到人们身上，会导致皮肤病。所以，欧洲委员会发布了一条新规定，呼吁进一步限制或控制含氟的使用。
