To begin with, modern lifestyle has contributed greatly to the increasing amount of waste and garbage we produce everyday. In other words, we have turned into a materialistic and mass-consumption society where we use more and throw away more than ever before. To solve this intractable problem, every citizen needs to participate in producing less garbage. 爱护环境是我们共同的责任，是一种美德，是一种要求，如果我们连自己的家园都保护不好，那么我们人类生存的意义又在哪里呢，面对我们失去的美好环境我们是多么痛心啊，痛心之后呢 ？我们不能视而不见听而不闻，麻木不仁，我们是城市的主人，我们是家园的主人，所有的环境都与我们息息相关，我们必须瞪大眼睛，保护我们的环境， 树立环保意识，把环境看做我们的生命，看做我们生存的希望，如果我们环境都没有了 ，生存的空间都没有了，那么我们只 能灭亡，未来的环境问题，应该是最大的问题。 我希望在不久的生活中，人人都能树立环境意识，让我们从现在开始，一个小小的弯腰，捡起的不仅仅是纸片，更是一种品德，一种温暖暖，让我们一起和环境手拉手，一起迎接美好的太阳，人人需要文明，城市需要文明， 我们需要文明，那么就从我们身边开始。

In the last several decades, our earth has been extremely polluted, such as air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and so on. In recent years, the extreme weather becomes more and more frequent. Winter gets colder and summer becomes hotter and it rains more frequently. All of these warn us that protecting the environment is a serious and emergent event. As our general people, we should build proper lifestyle. We should pay attention to water and light saving. When we go out, we should firstly choose the public transportation. The most important is that we must realize that we can do a lot of things to protect our environment. Its our duty to make our home better. Let’s change from ourselves.

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on.

It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time.

Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high

reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time.

Although I have more than a-month holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to

do. I had a lot of homework to do and I am essential to complete the homework as

soon as I have time.

Nowadays, Hollywood movies dominate the market and many young people take

these superheroes characters as their idols. So some people start to feel

disappointed about the local culture, because they havent seen its essence. As

the world gets globalization, it is in need of building peoples sense of local

cultural heritage.

The preservation of our cultural heritage is the necessary task. The

culture contains the essence of Chinese peoples spirit, which has been tested

by time. When people admit our culture, we will be proud of being part of the

country, so as to enhance the unity and have the desire to make a contribution

to the society. The loss of cultural heritage will destroy a country, which can

be seen in history.

As the young generation faces the cultural shock in the globalization, so

they are easy to deny the local culture, because they know little about it. Thus

school should implant the education of culture and the government has named a

day called Chinese Cultural Heritage Day, in the purpose of advocating the

essence of local culture. When children grow up, they will fight for protecting

the culture.
