On land, the accumulation of rubbish in the streets may dirty the city and ruin our health. This is mainly due to the improper disposal of rubbish by people.

岳飞，而对南宋朝廷偏安腐败，敌国外患，仍凭一人之力而精忠报国，只留得《满江红》与那“莫等闲，白了少年头，空悲切”的警世之言。

迎难而上，知难而进，在今天，国人犹未忘却。当奥运火炬在那一刻遭受威胁，面对如此疯狂和可怕的攻击，中国女孩儿将火炬揽入怀中。那一刻，异国人也为之动容，他们高呼“中国女孩，加油!”当金晶抬起头，扬起手中的火炬，闪着眼中的泪光时，世界领悟到了中国人在面对困难时，不屈不挠的精神——知其不可为而为之。

现代社会，需要我们去改变社会的弊端与不足，努力创造一个更加美好的明天，而不是安之若命，我们需要时代的责任感和主人翁意识，迎难而上，为美好明天而不懈奋斗!

也许，夏夜里的萤火虫闪烁着微弱的光芒，但它却极力展示，照亮夜空。于是，我们钟情于它，因为它的勇敢。

知难而上，方见其勇。

五年以前，妈妈赴国外访学，把我也带了去，到了一个人生地不熟的世界。

四处都是白皮肤的人，我和妈妈就如天鹅群中的鸭子一般，独在异乡为异客。我语言不通，遇到人，甚至小朋友，竟也无法出一言以对。

后来，我在那里上了学。在学校的我更加无依无靠，再加上语言不通，我成了其他人歧视的对象。我不甘心，发誓要练好英语。但您想一想，要改变自己大脑中的语言习惯，去适应西方的文化，同时保留原有的语言知识，是多不容易啊。

日日夜夜，我不停地练习，生硬地蹦出一个一个单词。白日里我与同学辩驳作业，夜里我不停地喃喃自语，每天我身边都围绕着自己那锯木般粗劣笨拙的英语。

面壁我也说，走路我也说，直到说到口干舌燥，舌敝唇焦。有几次我讲着讲着嘴中又干又涩，一阵反胃差点吐了。那一年半我真可谓是以唾沫洗脸，抱书籍入眠，以英文为枕，以外语为床。朝朝夕夕，日日夜夜，不论何时何地，总以英语为伴。

您认为我得到了回报吗?没有。在班级之中我仍旧是最末的一个，英语仍然赶不上别人，虽说已经能流利地说，但常常不知从何而说。后来，我回国了，但这依然没有使我摆脱窘境――我学的是口语，而没有学语法。作为一个在国外待了一年半的小孩，做起语法题来一窍不通，英语成绩竟然徘徊在中流。

两年之后，我跨进了初中的大门。一次比赛改变了我对自己的失望。尽管我认为我很失败，妈妈依然给我报了一个英语辩论赛。比赛很快开始了，我开始战战兢兢，不敢说话，后来被逼无奈，才嗫嚅着开始反驳对方。

但讲着讲着，我感到僵硬的舌头竟渐渐酥软下来，口齿也清新了。我还未意识到，我所学的，所练的，所有的语言点都行云流水般从口中喷薄而出，

仿佛我与这些句子――甚至这个语言化为了一体，而运用起来就如运动双手一般容易。我等时感到飘忽忽，若踩于浮云之上，有会当凌绝顶，一览众山小之势，有直挂云帆济沧海的力量。这时我才发现，我所付出的，并没有泯灭，而一直蕴藏在我身上，我种下的种子，终于开花了。

春华秋实，乃自然之道。付出于收获之间是有一个过程的。每当觉得劳而无获的时候，为何不去平静地等待，迎接秋天的丰收呢?

种下一颗种子，它不会立即开花，但如果你耐心等待，静待花开，便会迎来万花之芬芳。
