As for Meggie, I think she was a good girl. She was beautiful and smart, but she it was wrong for her to love Ralph. I was born in an ordinary family, but the love my parents gave me made me

feel that I was the happiest girl in the world. Before I went to middle school,

my parents decided to let me live in the hometown, where I spent the good time.

I was surrounded by green trees and clean water. Every day, I would play funny

games with my friends. When I went to middle school, I left hometown and moved

to the city to live with my parents. I needed to focus my attention to study.

Every night, my father would check my homework and if I had questions, he would

“大……大哥，水……水泥。”一阵乡音传来， “水冒儿”!他怎么回来了?只见他肩上扛着水泥，气 喘吁吁地往楼上跑。“可追……回……回来了，累死俺了!”他把水泥放在地上，一屁股坐下去，没等我们开口又接着说：“我刚搬完一袋下楼，正看见一个小伙子，扛起水泥就跑。你俩，”说着用手指着我和爸爸，“咋也不看着?俺一看，追吧。这人多手杂的，你们以后可得注意喽!”他又吸一下鼻子说：“哎哟!可累死俺了，没逮着他!”此时我们一家人相对无语，想是心中都掠过一缕愧疚。

“水冒儿”，多可爱，多善良，多淳朴。我真为我们这种多余的怀疑而惭愧。在我们的城市中，生活着多少因生活窘迫而不修边幅的农民。他们或四处打工或寄人篱下，谨慎地用辛勤的汗水浇灌着脱贫之树。也许他们已不再把城里人那种轻蔑的目光当成对自己的评价，也许他们已习惯了城里人不屑一顾的神情，也许他们已不在乎“水冒儿”之类带有强烈讽刺和嘲弄意味的称呼……但这并不表明他们的智商不高，更不表明他们的素质低下。城市人表现出的狂傲的藐视，不过是一种真正的狭隘和偏见罢了。
