Nowadays, there is a increasing number for people to join in the activities

of volunteering. It’s well-known that volunteering job is making contribution to

the society with nothing in return. It’s like the Leifeng spirit. However,

knowing this, there are still many people would like to devote themseves in this

With the rapid development of the society, people can live a better life in

general. So because of the improvement of people’ s living standard, more and

more people own cars. Traffic jam comes to life. While people in order to be

punctual, they often ignore the cars crossing on the road. This behavior will

easily bring traffic accidens. On the other hand, the car owner also want to be

on time and then regardlss the traffic rules, which is also easy to have traffic

Its almost the end of April. Summer has come to us in my city. In south,

summer always comes earlier than north. It has been hot for about half a month.

The highest temperature reached 37 degree. Now, there are much less people in

the street. People are not likely to go out during the summer. Its so hot

outside. Swimming is the most favorite activity in my city. The pools are always

full filled with people. Parents often take their children to swimming pool at

night. Personally, I do not like summer, because its too hot and the sunshine

is strong. I sweat a lot and that makes me very uncomfortable. Therefore, summer

is tough time for me and I always expect winter to come.

Music is the important part of my life. The world needs music to amuse

peoples life. As they live in the fast pace, music can bring them the great joy

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

The moment I stepped in high school, I have made up my mind to study hard

for the purpose to enter a good university. In the first year, I made a lot of

new friends. All of them were so excellent that I wanted to learn from them. As

the second year has come, I felt great pressure. My scores went up and down and

I felt so worried. I told myself that I should find a way to relieve pressure.

Listening to music was a good way. I would sing with the music and shake my

Air pollution is one of the major problems of the modern world. A great deal of energy is needed to run the factories of modern industrial nations. Also, engineers try to design and locate new power plants to do minimum damage to the environment. However, it may be that we still have a long way to go before we have a "clean" world. Nearly all of the countries are trying hard to prevent and control air pollution. There indeed seems to be no end to tasks that environmentalists will be required to do. People will continually find new ways to control pollution.

星期六早上，我和爸爸在散步。路上，我看见一家工厂的烟囱上面在冒烟，附近一片天空都变黑了，平日在天空翱翔的小鸟也不见了。路上驶过一辆辆汽车，车尾的尾气和烟囱排出的废气一样，乌黑一团，并伴有难闻的气味。我顿时意识到，这乌黑的一团烟是杀手，是危害我们健康的杀手。

为了保护环境、净化空气，我觉得我们应该多种植物。另一方面，科技越来越发达，我们应该让进步的科技帮助工厂少排废气，甚至不排废气。同时，我们也要在尽量不污染空气的前提下让科技进步。总而言之，没有了清新甜润的空气，就不会有人类美好的生活！

动物园里，最让我好奇的就算是大熊猫了，

它全身胖乎乎的，头上长着一撮白毛，有一对圆圆的小耳朵，脸上的大眼睛外长着黑溜溜的眼圈，像是戴着一副墨镜。它的房间很特别，中间隔了一面墙，墙上还留了个大洞，大熊猫一会儿钻来钻去，一会儿吃竹子，一会儿又去睡大觉，据说，大熊猫有两个愿望，一是没有黑眼圈，二是想照张彩色照片。真好玩！

看过了动物，我们又来到了热带植物园

，这里有很多奇异的植物，有漂亮的火龙果、还有大肚子的佛肚树，挂着一串串香蕉的香蕉树 ，真让人垂涎欲滴。

出了热带植物园，接着我们就看到一个个高大雄伟的恐龙雕塑，有霸王龙、三角龙、剑龙。我还坐在"剑龙"的尾巴上拍了几张照片呢。

接下来我们又看到了新建的雄伟壮观的九合塔，只可惜门锁着没能进去，我真希望自己能变小，上到最顶端，一览阜阳更多美景。

高兴的我一边走，一边欣赏着美景，不时让妈妈用相机给我留下美好的记忆。最后，我极不情愿地到了生态园的出口，恋恋不舍地跟我喜爱的美丽的生态园说了再见。

那天，学校组织我们去大众生态园参观。在去的路上，我想："生态园是什么样的？里面有什么？像公园一样吗？"带着一连串的问号，我们来到了生态园。

走进生态园，我们首先来到的是果园，果园里果树真茂盛呀！树的叶子是深绿色的，上面还有一些灰尘，一看就知道是经过不少风吹雨打的。果树上挂满了果实。石榴最大，红红的，有的还张开了大口，好像马上要坠下来似的。掰开石榴，一颗颗晶莹的石榴籽挤在里面，它们红里透白，让人见了就忍不住流口水，尝一尝，水分饱满，甜甜的，硬硬的籽还有些香味呢。枣树被身上的果实压得摇摇晃晃的，而上面的枣呢，一个个争先恐后地抢着让人们去摘呢！我们摘了一些垂在下面的，用手擦了擦，就吃了起来，脆脆的，甜中微带点酸，虽然还想摘些吃，可是忍住了，如此美味也应该给以后来的人品尝一下呀。果树下的地上还栽着一些不起眼的小辣椒，辣椒不大，火红火红的，好像要着起火来一样，可能吃到嘴里的感觉也象着火似的吧？

走过一段石子小路，就来到了家禽区，家禽区里有鸡、鸭、鹅，还有很多猪呢。这些猪并不像我们想象的那么脏，有白的、黑的，还有蓝白相间的花猪呢！它们的眼睛小小的，大大的耳朵都快把眼睛遮住了，那卷卷的短尾巴跟在大大的屁股后面，显得格外滑稽。

再向前一点，远远地就看见架子上挂着好多葫芦，它们肚皮圆鼓鼓的，前仰后合地向我们打招呼呢！我们都欢呼起来，甚至有的同学喊道："葫芦里有没有葫芦娃呀？"

我们还游览了生态园的很多地方，每到一个地方我们都充满了好奇，生态园里的植物和动物全都那么神奇、有趣，它可能不如公园那么美丽，但是它更令我们流连忘返。

Before I went to middle school, I lived with my grandparents. At that time,

I stayed in the country, which was the most beautiful place for me. Early in the

morning, I walked along the country road, appreciating the fresh air. We raised

a little dog. He was my best friend, and he accompanied me all the time. No
