名词如要表示与后面名词的所有关系，通常用名词所有格的形式，意为"……的"。一般有以下几种形式：

(1)一般情况下在词尾加"s"。例如：

Kates father Kate的爸爸

my mothers friend 我妈妈的朋友

(2)如果复数名词以s结尾，只加""。例如：

Teachers Day 教师节

The boys game 男孩们的游戏

(3)如果复数名词不以s结尾，仍加"s"。例如：

2. be ashamed to do sth

(1) 因感到难为情或感到差耻而不愿某事。如：

I am ashamed to say so. 这样说我不好意思。

(2) 对做某事而感到羞愧或惭愧。如：

You should be ashamed to tell such lies. 撒这样的谎你应该感到羞愧。

还有一次，我由于英语练习没错，老师就点名批评我，其实也不是批评，而是说读书不是为了父母和老师等道理。我很伤心，其实我不必去伤心，那只是英语而已，学不学好无所谓啊！但是我为什么这么伤心呢？
