In my early years, I did not see the value of education.

When I was going on thirteen, I started to run my own shop. From then on, I worked hard to become a successful businessman.

One day I realized the importance of the English language in the business world and started taking night classes.

I was able to communicate well with foreign customers after two years of English study. But I started to feel that, in the long run, having a limited knowledge of English was not enough to make my business successful. I took the College Entrance Exams. Although my math exam result was only one point below the required score. I never gave up hope. The following year, I took it again and received the highest score in my city. Achieving such an amazing result gave me encouragement and courage necessary to continue my education to the next step.

I am now in my second year of college and know that it is never too late to learn. My passion for studying and improving myself will never come to a halt as long as I continue to live.

“Live and Learn.” is the motto I have adopted. I believe with an education I will succeed. So, if you are wondering whether education is important, don’t hesitate a moment to step up and seize the opportunity.

The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past，people could not often have meat，rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon. Now， although people‘s life is much better，and we can eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday，and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings，we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programs.

My mother is a village woman， who is already in her fifties. She had very little school education， but she knows that knowledge is of great importance to young people. She often asks me how I get along with my studies and encourages me to study hard.

大家好!

每一个人都有梦想，每一个民族也有自己的梦想，每一个中华儿女的梦想就是一个“中国梦”。“一个人可以一无所有，但是不能没有梦想。”这句话，我一直记得。是的，正是因为有梦想，我们才经历坎坷依然前行，正是因为有梦想，我们才历经沧桑信心不改。

读书人都爱书。自古以来，不少名人将自己勤奋读书的情趣写成对联，用以自勉或互勉。

宋代学者刘载好学不倦，知识渊博，他的书斋配挂一副自书对联：“夜眠人静后，早起鸟鸣先”，说明学习的勤奋和刻苦。

苏东坡年轻时自以为已无书不读，便书一联：“识遍天下字，读尽人间书”。 后经一老翁指点，改成：“发奋识遍天下字，立志读尽人间书”。

《四库全书》的总纂纪晓岚写有一副对联：“浮沉宦海为鸥鸟;生死书丛似蠹鱼”。联中把自己比喻成“蛀书虫”，热爱读书由此可见。

现代名人的读书对联独具情趣。蔡元培步入仕途仍不忘读书，曾撰写对联悬于书斋：“都无作官意;惟有读书声”。

沈钧儒的书斋也有一联：“立志俯存千载想;闲淡无过五分钟”。他立戒清淡，惜时如金。

鲁迅在北京“老虎尾巴”书房西壁挂有一副集屈原《离骚》句联：“望崦嵫而勿迫;恐鹈鸟之先鸣”。他在《彷徨》的题词也引了《离骚》中的“路漫漫其修远兮，吾将上下而求索”， 正好是这一联的注脚。

周恩来读中学时，撰写一联：“与有肝胆人共事，从无字句处读书”。把如何交友，怎样读书说得明朗透彻。

毛泽东在湖南第一师范学习期间，曾写一联：“贵有恒，何必三更起五更眠;最无益，只怕一日曝十日寒”。把读书要持之以恒、循序渐进的道理说得透彻明了。

历史学家范文澜在自己书斋中悬有一联，用以自勉：“板凳要坐十年冷;文章不写一句空”。

高雅美妙的读书对联不胜枚举，常被人们引用的一副：“书山有路勤为径，学海无涯苦作舟”，出自20世纪30年代《大公报》一个年轻编辑王芸生之手。

当代作家柯灵，从小爱好读书，他的书房也挂一副趣联：“读书心细丝抽茧;练句功深石补天”。

面词义：书山有路，但是只有在书海中勤快的奔波的人，才是真正的找到路，不然就一点也学不到。学海中没有边，只有用自己辛勤劳动用辛苦作舟才能达到彼岸。

意思：读书治学要勤奋。
