The world is not only hungry,but also thirsty for water. This may seem strange to you, since nearly 75 % of the earths surface is covered with water. 早晨，当东方的第一抹晨曦透过窗子射进屋子的时候，熟睡了一夜的我便起床了。但是，就在这个时候，爸爸对我说：“今天是春节，咱俩贴春联去！”我应声答应着。已经好久没有听到这样的声音啦，我的脑袋早已被数学公式，英语单词、句型等东西挤满了，听到这样的话还真有点不习惯。出了门，爸爸拿着胶带，对我说：“怎么样，会区分上下联吗？”“我的脑子里已经积满了数学公式，英语单词，再也装不下别的东西啦！”我说。“来，我教你。首先，你要知道哪个是上联，哪个是下联，区分上下联其实很简单，如果一联中最后一个字如果是三声或者是四声，它就是仄音，也就是上联，如果一联中，最后一个字是一声或者是二声，它就是平声，也就是下联。上联放在右边，下联放在左边。”我似懂非懂地听着，贴对联的方法这是我用我全部的精力记住的，简直要把我的脑袋给撑大了。贴完了对联，我们就回到了屋子里去。吃饭之前，我就来到了屋外准备放鞭炮，顺手从家里拿了一个打火机，试了几次，行，有火，于是就开始放鞭炮了。我小心翼翼地拿着打火机来到鞭炮前，咔嚓、咔嚓，火着了。对准鞭炮，捻儿着了，我赶紧把手缩了回来，只听得鞭炮噼里啪啦地响了起来。现在回想起来，这恐怕是我们人生当中最幸福的事情了，因为几乎任何一个孩子都喜欢放鞭炮，而且对鞭炮的感情是日益有加。放完了鞭炮，便回到家中，享受过年的幸福与快乐！

时光飞逝，转眼间就到了晚上，大年三十没有一秒是平静的，五点未到，炮声四起。开饭了，在满桌的佳肴中，有两样是必不可少的。其一，年年有鱼——鱼预示着全家富贵吉祥有余；其二，是合家团圆的汤圆，它预示着全家团圆美满甜蜜之意。特制的大团桌上，父母兄弟围着坐。我则草草的吃过饭，，便冲出去放烟火去了；而那些好久不见的大人们，倒杯酒互相说着：“来，干杯，祝你来年更上一层楼！”“好，我也祝你恭喜发财，干杯！”“妈，我敬您一杯，祝您老身子骨越来越结实！”“我祝你事业有成，年年有余……”团桌上，干脆响亮的酒杯声预示着来年的兴旺。大人们爽朗的笑声和热情的祝福预示着来年的灿烂。

饭间，家家户户又是放鞭炮，震耳欲聋的鞭炮声成了连绵的一片，这一刻，，过年的气氛也就更浓了。

啊，旧的一年已经过去，新的一年已经到来，在这里我给大家拜个晚年，祝大家——新年快乐！

I went to visit one of our teachers with some of my classmates this

morning. Miss Jones is our English teacher and she likes all the classmates. She

tried so hard to help us to improve our English. We went to her flat and had

lunch there with her. We had a good time.
