今天，就上我们期中考试的时候我们个个都很紧张生怕把老师讲重点提忘了。

我们到了那里，都赶紧拿出数学书来看，因为数学是第一个考的，我们赶紧复习一下，老师就让我们把书收起来了，发卷子了，我看了看有几道题都是老师讲过的，开始做题了，我还是没有把握能考九十分以上，我做的很快，不一会儿就做完了，我赶紧检查，检查出来了几到错题，我赶紧改了过来，时间过得真快，不一会儿就交卷了，我非常紧张。

我们还有语文和英语没有考，我做担心的是语文，因为里面的题量很大，尤其是作文。

我好紧张啊！

期中考试在27号就已经正式结束了，原本打算好好玩一场的，但现在还是提心吊胆，无论如何也落不下来了。

我现在的心情真的很复杂，说难过吧，的确，语文只考了84;说开心吧，也对，英语考了100。

语文，你的语文!我在心里抱怨。原本我的语文是比较好的，但数学很薄弱，平时只考七八十分，而现在却反了反，数学一下子变成了93分，而语文却化为了84……

想想，仔细想想，毕业进入中学时的语文成绩在原来班里数一数二，名列前茅，而这时的成绩与那时相比差了10分，10分,已经不是一个小数目了!

我没去看语文考卷，也不知道自己大概错的地方。但数学考卷却发下来了，确实，有几题要稍微动一下脑筋，灵活运用;但有些题目是做过的，我仍然错，大题小题一定要错一些才满足吗?

其实在数学上，我是非常粗心的。在股票方面我觉得我还没有完全弄明白，还有找规律我有时也找不出，希望老师多多指导。

提起英语，我还是挺高兴的，每一题我都仔仔细细的检查过了，只不过有一些是比较难，那要看自己课外知识了。

虽说语文上难过了些，但里面也渗透着一种满足与高兴，我抱有这样的心理，可别说我骄傲呀。

总体上来说，我已经进步了，因为我努力了，赴全力了，这少不了老师的教导，父母的关心，当然更少不了自身的努力。

Now many students of Grade 9 are under too much pressure. They always feel too tired to listen to the teachers carefully in class.

For example, they can try to have enough sleep,or they can listen to their favourite music after class. They can also read some books or do some sports. For me, I often hang out with my friends.

People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. To me, the best way of

traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.

My preference depends on the purpose of the travel. On a summer vacation I

travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. When I use my feet and walk

一眨眼，刚升上的初中已经迎来了第一次期中考试，回头看，仿佛昨天还在军训，今天就考完了期中。

这次考试，先是让我伤心，后是让我惊喜，伤心是做题太粗心，不用心读题，扣了不该扣的分，所以成绩不太理想。让我惊喜的是，这么不理想的成绩，我竟然还考进了全年级前五十名，真是让我有点小侥幸。

先从数学说起，考了95分，我并不满意，因为错的那道题，老师之前有让我们小组对答案，哪知道我们的答案都是一个错方法的答案，便误认为这个错答案是正确答案，才导致今天这个局面。这让我感受到了平时小组讨论，探究的重要性；下一个是语文，才考了89分，我真想找个地缝钻进去，这是满分120分的题，我扣了31分，这太开玩笑了吧，老师改题太严了，必须要有重点词才行，没有就算错，我明白了初中不是儿戏，不能用小学的心态来学习初中生活；这一个是英语，可以说，我小学最差的是英语，很少考上90分，可哪知上了初中，我的英语越来越好，很少考到90分以下，上次英语考试还考了一百呢！

可我知道，谦虚使人进步，骄傲使人落后，这不，这次期中考有点骄傲，粗心地加了一个“s”，所以考了99分；令我伤心的就是文科，看着历史，政治试卷上那一串的红叉号，心里酸酸的，看看，这哪一个不是因为粗心大意，没读好题所造成的，就拿政治的一道题来说，它问的是小亮的正确做法是，而我看成了小亮的做法是，这一下9分就全没了！通过这次考试，我也明白了文科是我的弱点，理科是我的优点，地理，生物一共才扣了一分，但是，我应该取长补短，全面发展自己，不偏科。

这次考试，让我明白了许多。所以，下次考试要注意，不能再犯同样的错误了，我相信，我努力了，一定会取得一个好成绩。

期中考试，大家一年总是要经历几次。而每一次的期中考试，都会带给我们不同的感受。

转眼间这一学期将要过去，我们马上要迎来期中考试了，语文、数学、英语面对这它们让我的心脏无法平静下来，咚咚、咚咚。

In recent years our life is becoming better and better. But our environment is becoming worse and worse. Its very bad for our life. Now many people have air-conditioners and cars, they produce (give off ) waste gas. More and more trees are being cut down. There are so much sand on the earth (leaving only sand ) . 今天，我感受到了这次期中考试的严峻和重要！上午的五节课中：2节英语、2节语文、1节数学。英语课上，张老师拿出了英语期中复习的报纸，他不惜用2节课的时间为我们讲述那些难点和重要词组。语文课上，王老师将我们昨天做的复习卷进行了纠正答案，并且告诉我们如何应对考场作文及阅读的技巧，又将剩余的时间留我们复习。数学课上，骆老师又将一个说新不新的说老不老的知识用一节课的时间给我们巩固了知识。

我这次期中考试的成绩非常不理想，语文只考七十八分，数学只考六十七分，但是这些都是我的错现在我来和大家说说这为什么都是我的错吧！

先说语文吧：“都是错在填空了”。我妈妈星期六在家帮我复习了要背的、要听写、要默写的全都帮我复习了而我还说：“我都会，我都会”。听写的时候我老是听了一会儿又到电脑边上玩一下，还说妈妈报错了老是不听背书时老是一下子起高音，一下子低音妈妈要我从新背老是埋怨说：“连着样都要从新背，真倒霉。”就这样在复习的时候老是不认真才考七十八分的。

说完语文在说数学怎么考这么差吧：“大家说考试中最容易的是数学怎么可能只考六十七分呢”？我说的是实话我真的只考六十七分应为爸爸在给我复习时我爸爸说：“这道题目是错误的”。我偏说：“是真确的”。我老是不虚心听取别人的意见所以我才考六十七分的。

我知道了想要考试好就应认真听取别人的好的意见这样才可以让自己的成绩提高很多很多。

当数学上到第五单元时，数学课上，周老师表情严肃地宣布，下星期期中考试，请同学们抓紧复习，争取考出好成绩。本来，考试对学生来说是家常便饭，可是由于我平时学得不够扎实，所以心里还是有些紧张。

先说语文吧，每次单元测验，我一般都在90分左右。主要问题是，生字、词掌握得不够熟练，作文方面，句子不够通顺，语言不太丰富，常写错别字。

数学上，问题比较严重，前五次单元测验，两次90多分，一次80多分，最近两次只考了70几分。这不，周老师前几天还把爸爸请到她的办公室，商量如何提高我的数学成绩呢！五个单元中，“找规律”及“平行和相交”这两个单元我没有完全听懂老师的课，题目不太会做。

回到家，我把下周期中考试的事告诉了爸爸妈妈。我们一家在一起召开了家庭会议，讨论如何帮助我做好复习。针对我的学习情况，爸妈决定，语文方面，让我熟读课文会背诵，多抄写生词，达到熟练掌握。对于数学，先要找出我到底哪些不懂，然后对症下药。

既然这样决定了，那就赶快行动吧！我把课文中的生字词抄写一遍，接着请爸妈报听写，凡是错字，一律订正十遍，同时熟读课文，每课基本会背诵。数学呢，爸爸让我先做一套试卷，根据我的错误，他重点讲解给我听。如前所说，“找规律”及“平行和相交”这两单元，我概念不清，似懂非懂，爸爸耐心地为我讲解了有关概念，还仔细地教我如何正确解题。这一周真是紧张而辛苦啊！

结果呢，期中考试我的成绩是这样的，数学82分，语文89分，英语98分，不太理想。可是我对提高学习成绩还是充满信心的。即使基础比别人差一些，只要肯下功夫，也是照样可以成才的。成绩说明我的努力还不够，我应该加油啊！

I’m a student of Huayang No. 1 Middle School. In front of our school gate is a street, on both sides of which are many shops and restaurants. Every day during rush hour, especially at noon, stalls selling everyday goods and food appear on the street, which makes it terriblycrowded. First, cars and passersby have difficulty in passing through the street. Thus it makes it dangerous for the students to go in or out of school. Secondly, the street is made dirty with so many plastic bags and waste water everywhere.

A school, in my opinion, should be a place with clean and quiet surroundings. So I do hope some measures should be taken to improve the situation.

Life is a struggle. I shall never forget the most striking part of Henry

Wadsworth Longfellow s poem -- A Psalm of Life: "In the worlds blood field of

battle, In the bivouac of life, Be not like dumb, driven cattle! Be a hero in

the strife!"

Ludwig van Beethoven was a typical "hero in the strife". He was not only

one of the greatest composers, but also one of the most persevering men. As a

deaf man, he went on working with his strong will in the last year of his life,

though he was not able to hear his own fine and original music. Another example

of persistence in struggle is Deng Yaping. She once said that her technique came

from continuous training, emphasizing the importance of daily practice to a

player.

As a student, I seem to be in a boat sailiug against the current. I must

make an effort to forge ahead. A little carelessness will result in being driven

back. Indeed, learning is a struggle against idleness and carelessness.

Following the examples of Ludwig van Beethoven and Deng Yaping, I shall take

great pains to urge myself on, moving steadily forward like a heroic boatman in

the rough sea of knowledge.

I read the book then watched the movie, both of them ga一ve me great shock, I really admire Meggie,she had the courage to use her whole life to love Ralph, never ga一ve up. She believed that she would love Ralph only in her life. But I don’t like Meggie’s attitude to love, Ralph is a Father, and he mustn’t love Meggie, they really loved each other, but they are not destined to be together. So in my opinion I think Meggie should give in, she shouldn’t fight with God, Ralph had told her he would serve God forever, so Meggie wouldn’t win. Maybe giving up is a good choice. Their love is painful.

Tell the turth I don’t like Meggie neither Ralph, Ralph could not give Meggie happniess while Meggie couldn’t support Ralph to concentrate on his work. So they would not ha一ve happy life, they only made each other feel sad .

Frank is my fa一vorite role. he was short but strong ,and he was one of the main labor in his family. He didn’t want to be a shepherd, but the family needed him , and he must feed he the sheep so that everybody in his family can live better. Once he escaped from home , but it wassn’t long before his father found him and take him home. I feel so sorry that he had a miserable fate. He longed for freedom but most of his life didn’t belong to himself, it’s really a pity .

Frank was different to every man in their home, he loved his mother deeply, and he always helped his mother do the housework. he dreamed to be an outstanding boxer. Frank was considerable, and he always try his best to make Meggie feel happy. As Meggie’s oldest brother, he could be worried about Meggie’s fa一vorite doll, and he even tried to fixed the doll which was distroyed by Meggie’s other brothers. Frank and Meggie would always tell each other what they thought in their deep heart , and they are close friends.

I was so sad when I learned that Frank killed a man and he was sent to the prision. It is really a big shock to Meggie, for Frank was the only one who can listen to Meggie’s secrets. She thought she lost Frank forever. I cannot imagine how painful for Frank to spend dozens years in the prision. He once had good dream about his life, but he had to waste most of his life in prision. In my opinion it was Frank’s father that distoryed his life. His father didn’ t give him freedom, and Frank can’t had strong resistance spirits, and because he didn’t control himself and broke the law.The energitic Frank will never come to us, and he became a man who didn’t wanna talk. He began to be afraid of the world…it is really a pity.

As for Meggie, I think she was a good girl. She was beautiful and smart, but she it was wrong for her to love Ralph. Meggie was an excellent girl, she was able to find an outstanding boy to love her, but she put all her love on Ralph even she married Luke. She married Luke just because Luke looked like Ralph. Meggie wanna be a thorn bird, but I think it was too cruel to her. She was so kind that she shouldn’t stand that king of pain, and I think she was born to ha一ve a happy life. I pity for her.

Both the story of thorn birds and the legend are painful and beautiful, but not every one can be the thorn birds, because it is not our porpose to ha一ve a painful life. We are born to be happy. Olny happiness is the ture meaning of life while the story was written for us to enrich our life. It is a wonderful story.

通过期中考试我们可以及时地了解自己各方面知识技能的掌握情况，发现学习上的漏洞，并及时祢补。根据这个成绩，学生可及时调整学习心态和方法，更有效率的进行下一阶段的学习。过分看重成绩没有实际意义，考生要明白，现在在考试中暴露的问题越多越好，要把问题逐一解决，才能及时改进，越考越好。

这个学期的期中考试已经结束了，成绩也已经出来了，虽然都上了90，但对我而言，考的并不理想。我自己好好的反思了一下，大多都是有马虎引起的，还有一些则是平时努力程度不够。通过这次考试，我悟出了一个道理：锲而不舍是学习的关键，只有锲而不舍才能真正的掌握知识，丰富自己，提高自己的学习成绩。

滴水穿石就是锲而不舍的一种体现。我们航行在没有边际的学习海洋上，只有凭借这种精神，才可能到达知识的彼岸。学习是一件苦差事，既不生动，又不美丽，但是学习是有一定的重要性的，只要你懂得学习的重要性，你就会爱上学习，坚持不懈地努力下去，才能羸得鲜花和掌声。记住，没有不劳而获的美事。

If I am able to create a holiday, it would be the "Food and Fun Day". Think about it, with all the school homework and exams; it would be really nice to take a break from all the studies and just relax. Also I think everyone would enjoy the great food and lots of fun. Its just like a big party where everyone is invited. I would like the "Food and Fun Day" be set during the middle of the school year, where everyone can relax from their studies for a day. On that day, everyone will bring food and drinks to school and share what they brought with friends, students, and teachers. There will also be games and winners gets great prizes. Think about it, how great it would be to have a holiday like that!
