Spring Festival is the most important festival in China .It‘s to celebrate

the lunar calendar ’s new year .In the evening before the Spring Festival

，families get together and have a big meal .In many places people like to set

off firecrackers .Dumplings are the most traditional food .Children like the

festival very much ，because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes

.They can also get some money from their parents. This money is given to

children for good luck . People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good

fortune .

The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long .People visit relatives and

friends with the words “Have all your wishes ”。 People enjoy the Spring Festival

，during this time they can have a good rest .

One day during the summer vacation, my father and I agreed to play

badminton, so we went to guolin park with badminton and racket.

of human beings cannot be changed. On the other hand, each of us is naturally

Save the Wild Animals

As we know，water is very important to man，we cant live without water. The amount of water which is suitable to drink is less and less. But some people dont care about it. They waste a lot of water in their daily life. Even worse，they pour dirty water into rivers. They throw rubbish into rivers，too. Many rivers and lakes are seriously polluted. Something must be done to stop the pollution. And I think its a great shame to waste while millions are in great need of water. Last summer holiday, I visited to Xiamen with my parentsby plane. My

English teacher once told us that Xiamen is a beautiful city that worth of

visiting. We stayed there for four days. We lived in a small fishing village. On

the first day, we visited to Xiamen University and Nanputuo Temple. Xiamen

University is consideredas the most beautiful and romantic campus in China.

Indeed, its fantastic and its buildings are distinctive. On the second days, we

Many people believe so. They may put right in front of you all the

At the beginning of the summer vacation, our family of three returned to my

hometown, Shehong.

Back in Shehong, we stayed at my grandmothers house. One Friday morning,

my brother and I made an appointment to catch cicadas in the bushes downstairs

at their house because they have a lot of cicadas there. Before night, I rushed

over and saw that my brother was already there waiting for me, with a prepared

pocket in his hand.

We walked cautiously into the bushes, for fear that our every move would
