We went to lots of places, such as the Avenue of Stars and Ocean Park. I like Ocean Park best. The park is very big. Sitting in the cable car, you can see two hills, lots of different flowers and the sea. Some students were afraid of sitting in the cable car!

We stayed in the Shu Ren College. There are many big trees around it. We had meals in the restaurants, but I didnt like the food.

Hong Kong is very beautiful. I like Hong Kong and I hope to go there again some day.

我们学生从小就应该树立保护环境，减少污染，节约资源的意识。我们能做的事很多： 例：

1.在做作业时，我们都会用草稿纸，我发现好多同学跟我一样，把字写得大大的，而且反面有时根本没用，这也是一种浪费纸的现象，我们应该改正。

2.无论在学校或是家里，我们都应该节约用水。做到用后随手把水龙头关紧，千万别让它漏水。也不要向河中乱扔垃圾，要知道，水是生命的源泉，千万别污染了水资源。

3.在收集垃圾时，我们要分类堆放。比如废纸，塑料，玻璃等可回收，经过处理后可再利用。生活垃圾则可以采用填埋，分选，焚烧的方法进行综合处理。产生的沼气和热量可供人们使用。这样既节约了资源，又保护了环境。

4.我们知道自然界的的各种事物是相互联系的，一方面被破坏了，其它方面也会受到影响，从而直接或间接地威胁人类的生存，受到大自然多方面的惩罚。我们学生要在从自身做起的同时，大力宣传植树绿化，减少环境受工业污染，爱护动物，保持生态平衡。

there are different opinions on internet slang. some students think internet slang is vivid, fashionable and full of humor and intelligence. besides, it makes chatting on the internet quicker.

however, some other students think internet slang lacks depth of thought and is too simple. also, it is hard to understand and not accepted by most people. the words sometimes might make people confused, even resulting in misunderstanding.

Cars and Air Pollution

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. The usage of Internet becomes one of the most controversial topics in the

society. As a college student, I believe Internet is beneficial to me more than

First, I can best use my time to find information online instead of going

to different libraries. Also, the information can be dated back in decades ago.

It is very helpful to use those information as reference and historical proof.

In the library, it is hard to find so much "old" information. Another advantage

to use Internet is that I can stay home and have a lecture online. It is much

more convenience to me because I can stay warm to have class in the winter time

instead of spending two hours on the bus and physically attend class. In

addition, Internet provides me a better way to communicate with my friends and

professors. I can get response from my professor in a few minutes instead of

Before I went to middle school, I lived with my grandparents. At that time,

洗过菜的水可以洗手，因为菜里有绿色素说不定还可以美容呢!现在有的家庭养着鱼，养过鱼的水可以浇花，因为养过鱼的水里有鱼屎，屎又是肥料，这样等于给你的花施肥呢!我们可以把用过的水存放在一个桶里在冲马桶的时候使用。而且这种方法也是有好处的，因为用桶冲想冲哪儿就冲哪儿，很自由，冲的也干净。在有一些家庭中，洗过脸的水直接到掉，洗脚的水重新接，假如洗脸和洗脚水各用4升水，如果洗过脸的水再洗脚不就可以省4升水吗?这样一个人一年可以省1460升水呢!在北方，人们喜欢吃面条，大多数家庭会把煮过面的汤倒掉，但是留下来我觉得比较好一些，因为俗话说：“原汤话原食。”喝了这种汤可以帮助消化食物，又可以节省水，也可以洗锅，用这面汤还可以给你节省洗涤剂，且不是一举两得呀!

我看了《珍惜资源崇尚节约》这本书后，我才深刻地认识到我国资源的严重不足——我们的人均耕地面积只有世界平均水平的五分之二;我们的人均森林面积只有世界平均水平的五分之一;我们的人均淡水资源只有世界平均水平的四分之一，而且分布极不平均;我们大多数重要矿产的人均占有水平都远在世界平均水平之下。同时也让我深深的知道珍惜国家资源的重要性。

在此我下定决心，现在起我要珍惜一山一水，一草一木。因为这些能源：水资源、原材料、土地资源等都是国家资源，是我们生存和发展之必需，所以我们必须珍惜每一寸土地，每一分资源。让有限的资源发挥更大的作用，让每一滴水、每一度电、每一寸土地、每一块木材都能更好地为人民服务，而且能反复地为人民服务。在家里，我告诉爷爷、奶奶要等菜凉了，才放进冰箱，这样可以节约用电。第一道洗米水可以用来洗第一道碗，第二道洗米水还可以用来洗菜。这样不仅节约洗洁精，还节约用水。我还给弟弟做节约用水、用电、用纸的榜样呢!不再像以前那样不管擦什么，动不动就用纸巾来解决。能用抹布的，我决不用纸巾，就连擦嘴和流脾涕我都用手巾和手帕。我用练习本也不像以前那样嫌背面不好写而浪费掉，现在我第一遍用铅笔来做，第二遍再用钢笔来写。我还把家里的废旧收集起来，卖到收购站。这样既可以赚点零花钱，又可以使资源再生。家里人都夸我长大了，会勤俭持家了!在学校里，我不但给同学们做珍惜资源从我做起的榜样，还号召同学们个个争做节约标兵。
