我是一个很调皮的孩子。

growing up. As far as I am concerned, an ideal teacher should be responsible,

impartial and wise.

First of all, a qualified teacher should be responsible. For one thing, he

should try his best to make his class interesting and try to understand what his

students need. For another, he needs to keep enthusiastic with his job of spread

knowledge all the time and act as an example for others everywhere he goes

to.

Second, be impartial is another requirement. As a teacher, he should not

divide students into good ones and bad ones since each student has unique

encounters, he should treat them impartially, without any bias.

Finally, my ideal teacher is one who does not only teach students his

西边斑斑驳驳的朝霞照着车上的妈妈和我，路过街头，刚好有个小贩在卖爆米花。那甜津津的香味牢牢地抓着我的胃虫蠕动的馋虫，使得我的鼻子不听使唤地往那“源头”凑过去。那香味弥漫在拥挤的人群，笼罩着小镇。我央求正在驾车的妈妈趁热乎赶紧给我买一袋。妈妈犹豫了一会儿，后边的车子便尖叫似的按喇叭，催促着妈妈快挪动那辆“笨重”的车。妈妈无奈地说：“下次买吧，现在这么多车拥堵者，来来往往的人又多，我们还要排队，再说时间也不早了，赶着回家做饭，你还得做功课呢!”

“奥——”我习惯性地应着妈妈——这结果对我来说并不重要了，因为我的心思早就跑到别处去了：那儿的烤番薯不错，冒着热腾腾的气，还有冰糖葫芦，一路的左顾右盼竟到家了。刚进门，妈妈便又要出去。我又是“奥”一声算是默认。

不久，妈妈便拖着疲惫的身子进了门，还急急忙忙的唤我下楼：“看我给你带什么好东西来了!”我迫不及待地打开了妈妈手里提着的一个鼓鼓囊囊的纸袋，里面呆着饱满的板栗，“是炒栗子。”我惊叫道，雀跃着从楼上奔下来，敞开袋口，又深深地吸了一口：“好香啊，知女莫若母，妈妈你真好。”“可不是，刚才不是你吵着要吃炒栗子吗?”妈妈在一旁絮絮叨叨开了，“我本想买用机器炒的，但又怕不如手工炒的好吃，于是去了别处。”

我很用力的嚼着栗子，想从中再吃出些什么。我忽然明白，我“吃”的原来是若隐若隐的母爱，品味地是细致入微的母爱。而这母爱就渗透其中，无处不在。

等待，并不奢侈，对母爱无需等待，拥有母亲，便拥有了幸福。与母亲相伴，幸福的琼浆便汨汨涌出。

Im glad youll come to Beijing to learn Chinese. Chinese is very useful, and many foreigners are learning it now. Its difficult for you because its quite different from English. You have to remember as many Chinese words as possible. Its also important to do some reading and writing. You can watch TV and listen to the radio to practise your listening. Do your best to talk with people in Chinese. You can learn Chinese not only from books but also from people around you. If you have any questions, please ask me. Im sure youll learn Chinese well.

Dear Mary,

Thanks for your last letter. Im so glad that you have been able (at last! ) to arrange a holiday in Australia. As I fear I wont be able to meet you at the airport when you arrive, nor will I be able to be home until later in the afternoon, so here are some instructions and suggestions.

There is a bus from the airport to the city. It is much cheaper than a cab. Take the bus to the city and ask to get off at Town Hall railway station.

To get to my place in the eastern suburbs you have three options. You can either take a cab, a bus or the train. I suggest you take the train, since the airport bus will leave you right at the station. Get off at Cliff Station. From there you can either walk to my place (about ten minutes) or take a taxi. Probably you should take a taxi as you will have luggage.

When you arrive at my flat, ring the intercom for Flat 2. My friend Lillian will be at home and she will open the front door for you and let you into my flat.

Presumably you will be tired and want to sleep. But if you feel like some exercise after that long flight, you could stroll down to Cooper Park, which is only ten minutes away ? you can see it from the window.

The Dragon Boat Festival, must not not include dumplings! Today, my sister is teaching me the dumplings! You see.

Make zongzi must be prepared. My sister was ready to soak for three hours of glutinous rice and bought the leaves, which surprised me.

I put my rice in the leaves, and I was all over the table, and I was angry. My sister said to me, "you want to make a triangular shape of the leaf and put the rice in it!"

So I did what my sister said, and pressed it on the rice. Whats in the middle of that dish? It was minced meat! I dug a small hole in the middle of the glutinous rice and made it into a round shape, stuffing it into glutinous rice and adding it to the glutinous rice. How can you seal it? I looked at my sister and knew everything.

I pressed down one of the warped leaves and pressed the rope hard. Success! I covered a lot of them in the previous method. Now its time to get the pot down, boil the water first, and then put the dumplings on.

After a while, the dumplings were cooked. The four of you sat at the table and ate the dumplings.

I untied the rope and was trying to remove the leaves, but when I touched it, it was hot. Her sister looked and laughed. I blew and blew the heat away. 过端午节，一定少不了粽子!今天，姐姐就在教我包粽子呢!你瞧。

做粽子一定要有准备的。原来，姐姐已准备好浸泡了3个小时的糯米，同时也买好了粽叶，这样准备就让我大吃一惊了。

我把米放在叶子里，可米全撒在了桌上，我生气极了。姐姐对我说：“你要把叶子做成一个三角形的样子，然后再把米放进去啊!”

于是，我按照姐姐说的步骤作了一遍，在米上按了按，咦?旁边那个盘子中间放的是什么?原来是肉馅哦!我在糯米中间挖了一个小洞洞，把肉馅弄成圆状，塞入糯米中，让它也加入糯米的行列中。可怎么封好呢?我看了眼姐姐，就明白了一切。

我把翘起来的一片叶子按下来，并用绳子用力的扎紧。成功啦!我按照前面的方法，包了好多个。现在就要下锅了，先是把水烧开，然后把粽子放下去。

过了一会儿，粽子煮好了。大家四人坐在桌子旁，吃起了粽子。

我把绳子解开，正想把叶子摘掉，可我一碰，就被烫着了。姐姐看了，哈哈的笑了起来。我吹着吹着，把让热气吹走了。我再次小心翼翼的将叶子掀开，吃起了自己亲手做的香喷喷的粽子来——白白胖胖的糯米中间，包着一团鲜汁可口的肉馅，放入口中，不油不腻，又有嚼劲，感觉太好了!

端午节就这么过去了，嘴里吃着自己亲手包的粽子，心里想着我国唐代诗人杜甫写的诗：宫衣亦有名，端午被恩荣。细葛含风软，香罗叠雪轻。自天题处湿，当暑着来清。意内称长短，终身荷圣情。

这真是一个快乐的端午节!
