In my opinion, the Hunger Games is written mainly against domination. In another word, the hunger games are the product of domination. From the growth of Katniss, I deeply impressed that she is not only minute but also representative and aspirant, for the Hunger Game is not only a game itself as a show, but also the game between the Capitol and other 12 districts. This is a game about domination and revolution. In the Hunger Games, there are many moving scenes. While peeta joins the tributes from the richer districts. However, when he has the opportunity to kill Katniss, he instead saves her from the others. But Rue skilled by another tribute, whom Katniss then kills, Katniss sings to Rue until she dies, which encourages the watching people to chase for freedom and be against domination.

Realizing that Katniss and Peeta instead to commit suicide, the gamemakers announce that they both will be victors of the 74th Hunger Games. Katniss is very mature, brave and wise. She is a b role model for young girls with her character"s sacrifice, courage, moral grounding in a world that"s lost its own, and will to fight for what"s right, even if it means sacrificing her own life or sparking a revolution.

Although the reality is cruel for almost every character in the fiction, the positive side of humanity and love is always bright.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a literary masterpieces, written in 1876 by the famous author Mark Twain. Tom Sawyer is a mischievous young boy who lives in the small town on the Mississippi River called St. Petersburg. The story line is simple, the book reads like a biography or a memoir of a summer in Tom Sawyers life.

Tom Sawyer seems to be the precursor of and the template for misfit kids such as Dennis the Menace, Malcolm in the Middle, and Calvin and Hobbs. What makes this story great is that Tom Sawyer represents everything that is great about childhood. The book is filled with Toms adventures playing pirates and war with his friend Joe Harper. Tom has a trusted friend, Huck Finn, who few of the adults approve of. The book is filled with ideas of how the world works, such as how pirates and robbers work, that are so innocent, they could only come from a child. It is a story filled with action, adventure, ingenious ideas, love, and schoolyard politics. The whole story is seemingly a complication of what people did or wish they did during their childhood.

The book is a little difficult to read at first. Personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. Other than referring to persons of African decent in derogatory terms (which Im sure uses terms even young children already know)， the book would be an enjoyable read for people of all ages. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to feel young again, if just for a few hundred pages.

在这次劳累而又难忘的英语节当中，我体会到了许多。

在英语课上的各种活动中，我感受到我们缺乏太多团结。一个活动中，是要“两人三足”的形式来拿东西的。这个形式，需要的就是配合，才能往返的快。可有些同学是连拖带拽的把另一个同学拉到终点再给他拽回来。这就说明我们不够团结一致。在跳蚤市场中，我发现我们的经商不是很强。有的东西太贵，没人买；有的东西太便宜，亏成本。在别人的铺子里，经常看到一些抢着买的人群。这是因为别人的价格恰到好处，有时还有赠品，别人看的上。由此可见我们的经商还是比别人差了那么一点。在寻宝活动中，我发现我们的词汇量太少，一些句子当中的单词我们根本见都没见过，可见还要多锻炼。还有一个小活动叫“连词成句”。我原本以为这些句子都会很简单的，加上我和赵君安的才华，一定能写出来。结果到我们的时候，我们拿到纸条，顿时傻了。我们竟然不会拼！无奈之下，纸条上怎么写我们就么写给它写下来。在这件事的从中我感受到了我的英语还缺乏应用，一个简单的“连词成句”给我就把我给难倒了，不过这会让我更加努力的学习英语。

在这次英语节中，我感受到了大家充分的热情和不来的经济头脑。部分收成不错，但还要继续磨练我们的英语水平。

我读过了原著小说，书中其实是明里暗里设了这么几对矛盾对手来展开的。

一个是侯亮平和同校同系学长祁同伟之间的暗战。祁同伟是一个贫苦出身的官员，为了升官发财，热衷权钱交易，翻云覆雨，心狠手辣，是这部小说中最强的反派，他代表着那种一人得道鸡犬升天的官员，搞特殊化、小圈子、利益链等，他视人民为对立面。

一个是沙瑞金和高育良之间的空降干部与本土政治势力的角逐。高育良是典型的学院派干部吗，理论知识丰富，引经据典，擅长诡辩，是那种笑面虎和深藏不露的政客，他可能不屑金钱和美色，却重派系，搞平衡，旁敲侧击，滴水不漏的打击政治对手。唯上不唯实。他的腐败是那种“雅腐”，是善于玩弄权术的大老虎，他视人民为理论武器。

还有一个是陈岩石和赵立春之间的老革命和大老虎之间的对立。陈老是革命理想主义者，为了党和人民，可牺牲，同样，也可以和贪官作斗争，他可以说是一种化身，痛心疾首腐败给党和国家、人民带来的危害，又亲力亲为的坚持反腐，天不怕地不怕，正是这样的人，带给人民一种期望和希望。而赵立春，便是那种被权力腐化的最严重的干部，他的作风让整个汉东省的政治生态腐烂不已，官商勾结、派系对立、懒政成风。他视人民为上升的阶梯。

可谓是现代版的官场现形记。

暑假里，妈妈给我买了《中外名人故事》这本书，里面介绍了很多中国和外国的名人故事，比如爱国诗人屈原、中国铁路之父詹天估、鞠躬尽瘁的诸葛亮、献身科学的居里夫人等，其中我最喜欢的是特蕾莎修女的故事。

书中讲述了世界上最美的天使——特蕾沙修女。有一天特蕾沙修女要到医院商量工作，在车站广场附近发现了一位倒在地上的老妇人，特蕾莎修女赶紧用手试了试呼吸脉博，老妇人还没有死，于是她暂时放弃了去医院的行程，因为特蕾莎修女想，如果老妇人躺在那里，一定必死无疑。接着把她送到了医院，可最终没能老人。但老女人在临死前，却十分感谢特蕾莎修女能够救她。

我认为特蕾莎修女是一个把自己的一生都献给了穷人、病人、孤儿、无家可归者。她丰奉献了自己所有的爱，给了病人。

她的故事让我懂得了爱的力量，让我明白了在爱中成长的我们，也要学会帮助他人。因为只有爱，生活才能变得更加美好。

《简爱》是夏洛蒂。勃朗特以充满激—情的笔法，塑造了简爱这样一个谦谨、坚强而有独立精神的形象。简爱幼年父母双亡，寄人篱下，饱受欺凌；后来又进了孤儿院受尽折磨。她贫穷矮小，貌不惊人，但她凭着一颗坚强高尚的心灵，自尊自立。她与罗切斯特的爱真诚炽热，又坚决建立在平等的基础上。最后历经种种磨难，终于获得真诚珍贵的爱情。

看过的爱情小说很多，也总痴情与别人的故事，但唯独《简爱》让我百看不厌，爱不释手，每次翻开总会激—情满满，思绪万千。简爱勇敢、独立、坚强、外表朴素却心思绵密，机智、敏锐，每一个眼神都具有穿透力、洞察人的内心。貌似平静，但内心深处有着十分绚烂而甜蜜的幻想，有着火样的热情与如水的柔情。

简爱一直以来都是我的偶像，当我身处逆境时，深受挫折时，我总会想起她，想起那个简爱：他告诉我无论经历什么，无论遇到了什么，都不要放弃自己，不要对生活失去希望，即使在痛苦中也要努力，努力让自己向上，认真地生活。

我不禁想起了自己：每当考了一个不理想的成绩，我都会灰心，自暴自弃，一点都没有信心；每当我走在夜晚的街道上，任何一点风吹草动都令我胆战心惊；每当遇到困难，我也很难勇敢面对……看着书中的桑桑，我很佩服，也很惭愧。

我也学到了这本书中的写作特色——反衬。作者以反衬的方式写出了一个个如莲花般的好少年——出淤泥而不染。书中的陆鹤——一个秃头男孩就是最好的例子。陆鹤从小就饱受人们无缘无故的嘲笑和歧视，可他却能乐观地面对上帝对他的考验。果然，“天生我材必有用”，在一次重要的戏剧比赛中，必不可少的主角竟也是个秃子。当他成功的为一个学校、为一整片油麻地小镇争光时，人们才发现，即使是个秃子也可以使自己的头发光、发亮；可以使自己人生的舞台绚丽多彩……

读完这本书我受益匪浅。书中的故事像放电影一样一幕幕在我眼前闪现，主人公的高贵品质像颗颗闪亮的星星照耀着我前进！

终于把陈忠实先生的《白鹿原》看完了，结尾令人有些震惊。思绪随着故事情节的波动有些纷乱，白鹿原上的生活百态随着白鹿两家的主线而展开，在中国大地上描写的这一小块儿地方折射着整个社会时代的变迁。

岁月的风霜雨雪，风和日丽一遍又一遍，一茬又一茬地涉足这片古老的平原，精灵的白鹿跃动着人们记忆中久违的传说，不管经历多少坎坷风雨，生活的轮子依然不分昼夜地滚动前进，这是岁月蕴含的冷酷而坚实的力量。《白鹿原》的主人公白嘉轩、鹿子霖两大家族有形或无形的较量推动着故事情节的展开与深入。为了生活而争，为了脸面而争。当然书中并无直接而露骨地描写两大家族的斗争，而是从生活的各个方面体现出来。最终以鹿家惨败结局。性格决定命运或许是条真理。白嘉轩是中国传统男人的写照，墨守陈规、自力更生、谨小慎微、兢兢业业地生活。因此，他没有干出什么惊天动地的大事，始终以一个威严族长的身份立信于白鹿村，恪守明哲保身的理念。鹿子霖的性格与白嘉轩不大一样，他追求功利，争强好胜，作风不谨，却又有胆小怕事的一面。他一生虽然也经历了起伏的官场，但终究也没创造些什么辉煌，最后也以悲惨收场。我觉得性格变化最大的有两个人，一个是白孝文，一个是黑娃。白孝文经历了一场饥荒的打击之后，由软弱变得坚强起来，这也多亏他鹿三叔的话语刺激的作用。他从原来的唯命是从，规规矩矩，优柔寡断的性格中走出来，变得桀骜不驯，急功近利了。而黑娃的性格可谓一波三折，先是小时的胆小羞怯，后又勇猛剽悍，最后又归于知书达礼，学为好人。其实性格与环境的关系是辩证的，环境塑造了某人某种性格，而某人凭着某种性格来重新塑造环境。

《白鹿原》作为矛盾文学奖的作品，它向我们生动地展示了一个平原，一个族群的生活画面，读进去，我们仿佛身临其境。随人物之悲而悲，随人物之喜而喜。我们往往被小说中的人物感染，这大概就是大师笔下写实笔触的力量吧!

记得小时候我喜欢在田野中捉小虫子，因为我那时认为它们是我在童年是最重要的玩伴，正是怀揣着这种情感阅读了达尔文的《昆虫记》在这部作品中我领略到了前所未有的昆虫王国，在这里我了解了许多关于昆虫上的知识，弥补了在昆虫科学上的欠缺。达尔文倾注了许多心血在这本《昆虫记》中，他对那些昆虫的描述生动形象尤其是在一些细枝末节的地方处理的非常到位，所以说他为我们世人打开了一个全新的昆虫世界并且《昆虫记》是一部出色的文学作品。

全书大概描述了32种不同的昆虫种类，而在这些中有一种令我印象深刻也许是因为那句谚语“螳螂捕蝉，黄雀在后”所以我才会对螳螂记忆颇深，螳螂的腰部非常的长。不光是很长，还特别的有力与它的长腰相比，螳螂的大腿更要长一些。总而言之它拥有一副娴美而且优雅的身体并且它具有极大的杀伤力。可以说它是一种温柔与残忍并存的小动物。

在这本书中我感受到了科学的奇妙，相信在不久的将来我会对这方面进行深层次的了解。

我很喜欢这样一句话，不要抱怨自己平庸，即使伟大也不见得生活的多幸福。

保尔是钢铁是怎样炼成的这本书中的主人公。我非常敬佩保尔不畏病魔侵扰和不怕命运挫折的百折不挠的革命精神。他时刻都在为革命事业而奋斗。他有一次不幸染上了伤寒，他凭他那坚强的毅力，奇迹般地从死亡线上走了回来了，重新义无反顾地走向火热的工作岗位。

人应该怎样活着？看完了这本书，我对这个问题有了最完美的解答。

这本书的作者奥斯特洛夫斯基说过：“钢是在烈火里燃烧、高度冷却中炼成的，因此它很坚固。我们这一代人也是在斗争中和艰苦考验中锻炼出来的，并且学会了在生活中从不灰心丧气。”从作者的这句话，我看到了保尔的一种钢铁精神，然而也从中领悟到任何人无论做什么事，都必须经过艰难险阻的考验，才能迈向成功。当然，如果失败了，也不应垂头丧气，要学习保尔乐观的态度，昂首挺胸，迎接生命的挑战，实现人生的价值！

人生本来就是一条坎坷不平的险路。如果，早就有人为自己铺好了未来之路，走下去就会使生活失去色彩变成一杯白开水，无味、暗淡。但丁说：走自己的路，让别人说去吧！这句话也可解释成另一种意思：属于自己的路，自然是自己开辟出来的。只有自己创造的东西，才能属干自己！在走上这条路时，就应明白自己必定会经受风雨的洗礼。但只要信念坚定，别人说什么又何妨？保尔不正是这样的一个人吗？他从不顾虑别人怎么说。

信念支撑着我们的信心，让我们鼓起勇气，向残酷的命运挑战，永不言败。
