During the summer holiday, I spent much time in reading. I finished one of the four masterpieces ofChina, Journey to the West. It’s really an interesting book, telling many adventurous stories. I had watched the TV series before, but I found that the book is much interesting. Except for the adventurous experiences, we still can learn something from this book. During this term I have read a novel The Red and the Black. The novel was written by the French writer Stendhal in the 19th century. Marie·Henri Beyle better known by his pen name Stendhal was one of the critical realism French writers in the 19th century . The military and theatrical worlds of the First French Empire were a revelation to Beyle. Known for his acute analysis of his characters’ psychology and reflection of society he is considered one of the earliest and foremost practitioners of realism in his two novels Le Rouge et le Noir (The Red and the Black 1830) and La Chartreuse de Parme (The Charterhouse of Parma 1839). Stendhal laid down for himself in a diary entry of May 1804:“regard everything I’ve read to date about man as a prediction; believe only what I have seen for myself. Several years ago,from joyo,I bought the book "the kite runner" which ranked first on best sellers volume.First reading the book,I was totally moved and even cried for the sad story.This year,I knew it has been adapted into a movie.After seeing the movie,I read again this book and gained some new views.

The novel begins a story about two boys.Amir is born in a rich family.Hassan is his servant as well as close friend.They both lose mother from birth and grow up like brothers.Hassan is very loyal to Amiar,but Amiar sells him.Many years later,Amir has settled down in America for years and established a family,but Hassan died for protecting Amirs luxury house in Afghanistan and leave an orphan.Accidentally,Amir gets to know a big secret and decides to atone for his crime that hound around him from childhood.

Reading it again,most of my original views has changed.

At the first place,I have a feeling of being cheated by the writer.The novel first attracted me before because it set its plot in a special environment---Afghanistan which even I often got news about from TV and newspaper,I knew the country utterly ignorant except wars and terrorism.So I wanted to understand more about the calamitous country.However,I am disappointed by the novel which just use a special background environment to tell a so-called travel of human nature .The theme of the novel should be atonement if it was taken off flowery coat.Bad gay like Amir and and good gay like Hassan,adding some the present best sellers polular elements like bastard,forming the main contents. In fact,the kite runner impressed me deeply and it just depends on sensational words.Besides,what makes me most dislike is that the writer,an Afghan-American,contorted some political elements for American advantages.The history background only make the affair of Russia invading and Taliban dictators go into particulars,but not mention Americas ignominious role in this politics.Why Taliban dictators are so unruly?Why Russia invaded Afghanistan in 1979?Why Afghan people still live in poor condition nowadays?America,a main actor is disposed of in this novel.

At the second place,the characters all serve to a tacky theme-atonement and birth secrects.When the birth secrects are exposed,the atonement travel begins.When the atonement finishes,the story finishes.

I even feel I am wrapped around the American medias little finger.Many celebrities and book concerns writed good comments,which helped it ranke first on sales volume for several times and made readers think it must get widely praised and then bought it without doubt finally.

Though I think the disadvantages are more than advatages,compared with the back atonement part,I like the front part that describes the pure friendship and innocent childhood between two boys.The description about the culture of kite in Afghanistan is excellent.

As a first book of the writer,it is resonable that the novel has some deficiencies.I hope his next and next works can more and more perfect.

After reading this wonderful story, I can feel love, brave, deep friendship and some other good spirits in the people.

The Scarecrow wanted some brains, but on the way to the Emerald City, he thought out of a way to cross the river. The Cowardly Lion wanted to be brave, but when they met the river, he carried other friends to jump across it. And the Tin Man wanted a heart, he said he couldn’t love, but he didn’t want to hurt any animal.

In fact, they all have the things they want: the Scarecrow is clever, the Cowardly Lion is brave and the Tin Man is kind-hearted.

This book tells us a story of how a little girl Dorothy goes back to her hometown when she is in another strange city. Dorothy is a little girl who lived with her aunt and uncle in Kansas. The weather there is very bad, sometimes there was a cyclone. When a cyclone came, people stayed under their houses. But one day a cyclone blows Dorothy’s house, with Dorothy and her dog Toto in it, to a country called Oz. In that city there are four witches and a very famous wizard—the Wizard of Oz. And Dorothy’s house just fell on the bad Witch of the East and killed her, so the people there were very happy. Dorothy took the witch’s red shoes and wore them. She wanted to go home to Kansas but she doesn’t know how to get there. So the Witch of North told her to go to the Emerald City to find the Wizard of Oz to help her. Then Dorothy met the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, but they need help too. The Scarecrow wanted some brains, the Tin Man wanted a heard, and the Cowardly Lion wanted to be brave. So they all take the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. On the way to the Emerald City they met some difficulties, but they solved them successfully. After they met the Wizard of Oz, the wizard gave them another challenge—to kill the bad Witch of the West and they accept. During the way to the Witch of the West’s house, they were caught by the witch and Dorothy was requested to work for her. One day, when the witch tried to catch Dorothy’s red shoes, Dorothy threw some water on the witch by accident and the Witch of the West disappeared. Only water can kill her. So Dorothy went back to the Emerald City with her friends but they found the Wizard of Oz is not a real wizard, he is also a man came from Kansas, and he is just a conjurer. He wanted to go back to Kansas too. So he made a big balloon and prepared to go. But when the balloon is going to raise, Dorothy’s dog Toto jumped away to run after a cat, so Dorothy had to get Toto back and they were left in Oz. Then Dorothy and Toto went and find the Witch of the South and the witch told them they can just use the red shoes on Dorothy’s feet, they’re a pair of magic shoes, they could take anybody go back to their home as soon as she said‘East, west—home is the best!’After Dorothy said goodbye to her friends, she went back to her new home with her dog. It’s really a wonderful risk.

Yes, no matter where we are, home is always the best place for us to rest or study. There are our parents here; there are also our favorite things here. At home, we feel safe, we feel comfortable, and we can relax ourselves.

From this story, we can see Dorothy is a brave and kind-hearted girl. She killed the two bad witches in Oz; she helped the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion to go to the Emerald City to find the Wizard and get what they want. She solved problems when they met difficulties. It’s really not easy for such a little girl.

We also learn that teamwork is important for us. When we are in trouble, we can ask our friends for help, and also, when our friends need help, we should go and help them. Just remember, more people, more power. It’s always better has more people to do a thing. Teamwork is really necessary in our lives.

And we can see the Scarecrow is absolutely cleaver, he understands things, he can think, he learn quickly, and he suggested Dorothy to cut down a tree to cross the river. The tin man has a kind heart, he laughs, he cries, he loves, he feels sorry for people. The Cowardly Lion is really brave, he did a lot of brave things, he carried the friends to go across the river, and he wanted to find some food for his friends and so on. We should learn from them too. When we are in trouble, we should calm down, watch the things around carefully, and try to think out of a way to solve it, just like the Scarecrow. We also should be brave as we are in danger, we can’t be afraid, we should face the difficulty and try to go through it, just like the Cowardly Lion. And we should learn to love people, to feel sorry for people, to make more friends, to get on well with everyone around us, just like the Tin Man.

Yes, we should learn how to get on with other people, we should help each other, we should be brave, we should love other people. If we can do like this, we can be a better girl (boy), more and more people will make friends with us, and more and more people will like us!

《爱的教育》是意大利作家亚米契斯的作品，是通过亚米契斯的儿子的日记改编的，被认为是意大利人必读的十本小说之一，是世界文学史上经久不衰的名著，被各国公认为最富爱心和教育性的读物。

爱是一次没有尽头的旅行，一路上边走边看，就会很轻松，每天也会有因对新东西的感悟，学习而充实起来。于是，就想继续走下去，甚至投入热情，不在乎它将持续多久。这时候，这种情怀已升华为一种爱，一种对于生活的爱。

爱从来就是一个非常难以解释的词，但是对于生活的热爱，却是容易理解的，当我们经历过一些事情，看过一些风景，遇到一些人，了解了他们的思想，拥有了自己的情怀，就会变得豁达，释然，这时候，我们对生活会更加有热情，因为我们懂得了珍惜生活，也就学会了爱!

“爱是什么”不会有明确的答案，但我知道，“爱”是没有界限的，在每个人的心目中都有一份纯洁的爱，同学之间的友好交谈，老师对学生的鼓励，父母对孩子们无微不至的关爱，甚至萍水相逢人们之间的一个微笑，都是爱的表示……爱是我们经常挂在嘴边的字，可有的时候，我们常常会忽略身边人对我们的爱。爱是无私的，爱是博大的，只有生活在爱的海洋里，才会享受爱。而当我读懂了《爱的教育》这本书后，我才真正领悟了爱的境界。

世界上最动人的皱眉是读书苦思时的刹那，世界上最舒展的一刻是读书时那会心的.微笑。

本周我读了《斑羚飞渡》这篇小说，它主要讲的是狩猎队把一群斑羚赶上了伤心崖，准备活捉它们。虽然它们有跳远冠军之称，但是，面对着它们面前6米宽的山涧，却是无能为力。在面临着种群灭绝的关键时刻，它们居然想到了猎人们意想不到的举动!牺牲一命来换取一命的方法，来延续下一代的生命——飞渡!

为了换得下一代的永生，斑羚们在山涧上空划出一道道令人眼花缭乱的弧线，那是一座座用老斑羚的肉体和死亡筑成的桥墩。这是何等神圣的精神力量啊!连猎人 们也不觉放下了猎枪。令我最震撼的，还是那只镰刀头羊。它担任着一位领导者的身份，冷静镇定地指挥着斑羚群我敬佩这些勇敢的斑羚，特别是镰刀头羊，他没有 做人类的奴隶。“只见它迈着坚定的步伐，走向那道绚丽的彩虹。”它维护了自己的尊严，也维护了种族的尊严。而有的人，却甘于屈服，在生死抉择之际，他们毅 然选择了，在敌人的统治下苟延残喘。读了《斑羚飞渡》让我知道了镰刀头羊的勇敢和为了拯救下一代的斑羚们，牺牲自己保护后代的精神值得我们学习斑羚的举动让我明白了付出，人只有懂得付出，懂得爱，才算一个完整的人。

我要呼吁人们：“动物与我们一样，是自然界的生灵，我们人类不应该为了满足自己的贪欲而掠杀动物。我们要建一个万物平等的和谐世界!”

每个平凡的人都有一个不为人知的不平凡的世界，每个平静背后都有激情澎湃。这个寒假，我开始读路遥的《平凡的世界》。

路遥的这部小说是围绕着孙玉厚一家展开的。这个家里，年龄最小的是兰香，她从小就十分懂事。上小学时，别人家的孩子穿的是一件件新衣服，而兰香穿的是破破的旧衣服。虽然如此，她却从不向家人要新衣服。因为她知道，这个家实在是太穷了。每当家里有一些好吃的，她也总是找借口躲得远远地，她要把好吃的留给年迈的奶奶。

兰香不仅懂事，而且十分勤劳。当她还只是一个七八岁的孩子时，每天放学回到家，她就会提起她的小篮子，到山坡上拾柴火。她年龄小，拾的少，但每天拾得柴火也够妈妈烧两锅哩。兰香还是个聪明好学的孩子。小时候，她的爸爸和哥哥们围在一起算账，她在旁边看，一口就说出了答案。课堂上，兰香的数学老师写了一黑板的数学题，刚写完，兰香就站起来说：“这道题等于零。”

兰香只是书中的一个人物，还有许许多多的让我十分感动的人物。有吃着黑馍配雨水菜汤却仍然坚持学习的孙少平，有十三岁就扛起家庭重任的任劳任怨的孙少安，还有润叶、金波、田晓霞……他们青春的勇气给了我非常大的触动，我们拥有如此美好的生活环境，又怎能不好好珍惜，好好学习呢?

我是一个平凡的小学生，我要通过自己不断的努力，在平凡的世界中不断知难而进，努力执着。

I was experiencing the feeling of paradox after reading the book. I felt my eyes wet when I read his stories, about how Mr. Jobs was able to overcome the challenges in life. These are challenges that I, you, and a lot of us will never encountered, but I understand how it must feel to be in the middle of the situations, and how it must feel being hopeless. This understanding has led me to the being moved by Steve Jobs’s bra一veness and persistence. The power of his dream had proved beyond anything, illness, unfairness and death. He continued to love his career even after being diagnosed cancer, and used his power and strengths to change the world by changing how all of us see it.

He was a nerd, a crazy man, a paranoid, but there was no evidence that would show him not being one of the greatest man in human history. Even though people found themselves tired working with Mr. Jobs （he was such a paranoid）， they loved him, as he could bring the novelty to this world and make a difference. To the great man who changed the world with mac and ipod, to the hero of the electronic industry, to Steve Jobs, you will always be my hero.

"Notre Dame de Paris"  is one known far and wide romantic faction strength which Victor Hugo writes . I take advantage of this summer vacation free time， read this great work.

我非常喜欢伊索寓言里的故事，每一个故事虽然很短，但很生动、很有趣。我感受最深的要数乌龟和兔子的故事。

有一天，猴子想了一个主意，让跑得最快的兔子与走路慢吞吞的乌龟来一次赛跑。比赛开始了，兔子像离弦的箭一般飞跑出去，一眨眼就冲到了半山腰。乌龟可就惨了，一步步慢慢地爬，半天才离开起跑线一点点。兔子见乌龟离自己好远好远，于是就睡在半山腰的绿草地上。乌龟动作虽慢，但他一步一步向前进，慢慢地就越过了兔子睡觉的地方。沿途的观众为乌龟加油喝彩，喊声把兔子从睡梦中惊醒，他爬起来，拼命向终点跑去，这时乌龟已经到达终点。

读了这个故事，我明白了虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后。可是生活中又有几个人能有乌龟的毅力，却有很多人一不小心就变成了那个兔子，在学习上或是在生活中比别人聪明一点点，或是比别人跑得快一点点时，就有骄傲自满的情绪。

这个故事告诉我们，如果要想永远比别人快一点点、聪明一点点，那我们必须戒骄戒躁。如果比别人“笨”一点点或是慢一点点也没关系，我们只要向乌龟学习那种坚持不懈，不畏艰辛的毅力和精神，我们到最后一定会成功，一定会胜利。

filetype after reading the little prince over the course of this semester,i read a moving book:the little prince.it impressed me a lot,especially,the pure but deep emotion(love) between the characters such as the pilot and the little prince,the rose and the little prince,the fox and the little prince.the book remind me of the pure and nice emotion only found in childhood. what impresses me the most is the fox’s words.love is a strange stuff.sometimes we see it but can’t grasp it.yet, true love may be, to some extent, invisible in surface but may last permanent.apart from love, others as well.indeed,sometimes what we consider right turn out to be wrong,what we consider real proves fictitious,what we confused may just turn out to be the truth.the path in searching for truth may long and time-consuming,we should harbour conviction,strong will and high hope.no matter what barriade in front of us,we ought to be couragous and face up to the challenge.
