孙家的孙少安和孙少平也是我喜欢的角色，尽管家庭贫困，迫使成绩突出的二人都未能完成学业，早早的去承担了家庭的重任，但他们也没有气馁：哥哥办起了砖场，经历了大起大落才让家人过上了富裕的日子，还让全村人走上了致富之路。弟弟也经历波折，从农民到教师，再到朝不保夕的揽工汉，又到煤矿成了名矿工，再来又当上了班长。孙家兄弟两个的的确经历了阴晴圆缺，才有了如此的生活，令人唏嘘不已。

在这平凡的世界中，有多少执着的平凡人的一生有着这平凡的生活，又有着这样平凡的感情。我们不应该也学会在逆境中历练心境，经历人生的磨砺，做个强大的人吗？佛置身于那个时代，体验着那个时代的风风雨雨。看后让人很受启发，回味无穷。

My Feelings after reading Wuthering Heights

Wuthering Heights is a well-written tragedy of love. After reading the whole story, I would like to talk about the main characters of the story—Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff. Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff love each other very much, but they do not have the right attitude towards love, which leads to the tragedy.

In Catherine’s life, she made a very foolish decision---marrying to Edgar. In fact, her love for Edgar can never be compared to that for Heathcliff. She did so, because she thought the wealth of Edgar would be useful to Heathcliff. But in reality, it did not work. She did not have a good understanding of love, which is something pure and saint. If anyone add any purpose into love, love itself lost its meaning. Catherine’s wrong decision hurt two people who love her, and even destroyed the happiness of their offspring.

Heathcliff is a man full of retaliation. He loved Catherine very much, but what he did, on the contrary, added to the misery of Catherine. In my opinion, if he really loved Catherine, he should not walk into Catherine’s life again after his disappearance. Further more, after the death of Catherine, what Heathcliff did brought agony to Catherine’s daughter, as well as his own son.

After reading, I have a better understanding of love. If you love really someone, his or her happiness is the thing that most matters.

《呼啸山庄》读后感

《呼啸山庄》是一部写得很好的爱情悲剧。读完整个故事,我想谈谈故事的主人公——凯瑟琳和希斯克利夫。凯瑟琳和希斯克利夫非常相爱,但他们没有采取正确的态度对待爱情,从而导致悲剧。

在凯瑟琳的生命中,她作了一个非常愚蠢的决定——和埃德加结婚。事实上,她给埃德加的爱永远不可能与给希斯克利夫的相比。她这样做,是因为她认为埃德加的财富会对希斯克利夫有用。但实际上,它没有用。她不懂得爱情,爱情是圣洁的。如果有人给爱情添加任何目的,爱情本身就失去了意义。凯瑟琳的错误决定伤害了两个爱她的人,甚至破坏了他们的后代的幸福。

I”d never given much thought to how I would die. But dying in the place of someone I love seems like a good way to go. " When reading such moving words, I am completely absorbed in this splendid novel --- Twilight. The person who had said such moving words was a 17-year-old girl --- Bella, who was a high school student. After reading the whole novel, what impresses me most is not the mysterious vampires family, but the kindhearted and brave girl --- Bella. Bella is a kindhearted and independent girl who never goes with tide. She always sticks to her own way of doing everything. I clearly know that it was Bella”s unique and special character that drew Edward”s attention. In Edward”s mind, Bella was a natural girl with a kind heart. To be honest, Twilight is the best romance novel that I”ve ever read. There is no much flourish in it, but there are lots of touching and thrilling plots between Edward and Bella. There was a time when Bella was on her way home from a bookstore alone, suddenly a gang of ruffians molested her, Bella felt helpless and hopeless. Fortunately, Edward appeared as a hero and rescued the beauty, Bella. At that moment, I couldn”t help praising, that Edward was such a thoughtful gentleman who cares about the person he loves at any time. No wonder Bella would love him.

Then when Edward told Bella he had a super strength that he could read every person”s mind except Bella”s one. You can not imagine that, Bella”s first reaction to it was --- "Is there something wrong with me?" Hearing that, Edward smiled and said, "I tell you I can read minds, and you think there is something wrong with you." 一、傲慢

这个词虽然是贬义词，但它却在男主人公身上明显存在。故事中的男主人公——达西先生，出现在好友彬格莱举行的一次舞会上。他不仅长得英俊，而且也很富有;但同时他也很无礼、很傲慢。因为彬格莱是一位家财万贯的单身汉，年轻英俊，生性活泼，开朗随和，所以他有很多朋友，自然也有很多人参加了他举行的舞会。这些人中当然也有很多漂亮的女士，但由于达西先生的傲慢，他对舞会上的任何一位女士都没有产生好感，相反还让伊丽莎白受到了他的怠慢。因为达西先生的傲慢和无礼，所以没有人想到他会爱上舞会上的任何一位女士，尤其是被他怠慢过的伊丽莎白。其实不然，后来达西先生慢慢发现了伊丽莎白的机敏聪慧，谈吐不凡，并且对她产生了爱慕之情，但他却极度克制着自己的感情，没有向伊丽莎白求婚，原因是他看不起她的家人，但他对她的爱的确十分强烈，最终克服了家庭、地位的障碍，终于向伊丽莎白表明了心意。傲慢是对爱的一种掩饰吗?它的确是一种习惯超速行驶的情感。

二、偏见

伊丽莎白是班纳特姐妹中的第二个，也是本故事中的女主人翁，她不仅美貌出众，而且聪明过人。在舞会上受到达西先生的怠慢后，自尊心受到伤害，因此对达西产生了偏见，可是达西先生傲慢无礼的样子早已进入伊丽莎白的头脑，还怎么对他产生好感?对于旁人的点评又怎能轻易置若罔闻?伊丽莎白对他有偏见是很正常的，所以当达西向伊丽莎白求婚时，大家也不难想到，伊丽莎白拒绝了他的求婚。但令我们没想到的是：最终，达西与伊丽莎白走到了一起。这虽然很出乎我的意料，但仔细一想，也不难想出。因为伊丽莎白对达西存在着偏见，所以就让伊丽莎白对达西有着比较深刻的印象，这种偏见也间接的对爱的产生起了一定的推动作用。偏见，其实就是爱的红绿灯。

三、傲慢与偏见

由于达西的傲慢，致使伊丽莎白对他产生偏见，以致拒绝了他的求婚。但是拒绝了一次求婚并不意味着他们永远不能够在一起。因为达西的傲慢而使伊丽莎白对他产生了偏见，所以在达西向伊丽莎白求婚时，她不仅没有接受他，而且还痛斥了他一顿，而正是因这一顿痛斥，让达西认识到了自己的傲慢，此后他变得不再傲慢了，伊丽莎白对他的偏见也随之冰释了。最终，两人终成眷属。

所以，爱就是傲慢与偏见的整合。正是因为达西的傲慢和伊丽莎白的偏见而使二者结合在一起，并且相克相生，使得傲慢与偏见都荡然无存，最终才产生了爱的果实。

爱，竟能使两个人到如此地步。一次邂逅，一次目光的交融，就是永远的合二为一，就是与上帝的契约，纵使风暴雷电，也无法分解这种心灵的黏结。爱的力量是多么伟大呀!在爱面前，连傲慢也不得不低下他高贵的头颅。爱的力量实在是太高深莫测了，在爱面前不仅傲慢低下了他高贵的头颅，就连偏见也不得不甘拜下风。

在这个世界上，傲慢与偏见根本就不是爱的对手，傲慢与偏见在遇到爱之后不会让爱消失，相反，它们只会双双变成爱的俘虏。

有人说张爱玲的小说除了《倾城之恋》以外，都是悲剧的结尾。在我看来，《倾城之恋》虽是成全了白、柳的一段姻缘，但实则以世俗的表象虚掩了真正的悲凉，越发比悲剧更像悲剧。

白流苏，一个离过婚的女人。在那个暧昧的时代和同样暧昧的旧上海，离婚是要受道德谴责的。而白公馆无疑属于守旧的那一派，“他们家用的是老钟，他们的十点钟是人家的十一点，他们唱歌唱走了板，跟不上生命的胡琴。”离了婚的白流苏，少不了受家人的指戳。一应钱财盘剥净尽之后，她的存在无疑成了拖累和多余。她的出路，除了另一个男人的怀抱以外，恐怕再无其他了。

范柳原，一个海外归来的浪子，本是无根的浮萍，四处飘摇。加上生活的纸醉金迷，便把“女人看成他脚底下的泥”。爱情和婚姻原是他不相信，也不敢指望的。但他内心深处是渴望安稳的。

爱情总是发生在自私的男人和自私的女人之间。就这样，两个各怀鬼胎的人遇到一处，展开了一场相互试探的爱情攻防战。白流苏的目的显而易见，她希望他能承诺她一纸婚姻。一个男人。而柳指望的是那个安稳于是两人各自为了捍卫那一点自由或者追逐物质上的算计，相互不妥协。当终于有一天，精神上追求再寻不到现实的依托时，两个人方始彼此亲近。

在连续的试探之后，流苏没有寻到半点进展，可见她不惜为争取婚姻冒了极大的险。此时，心迹更是表露无疑，思忖再寻个职业，也怕自贬了身价，被柳原瞧不起，“否则他更有了借口。拒绝和她结婚了。”权衡的结果是：“无论如何得忍些时”。这是在和自己打赌。她并不见得有多大胜算的把握。如果柳原还再来找她，就算赢了一步，这是她此时的底线。果然，过了些时日，香港来了电报。她心里自然安定了许多，也将自己放开了些，同他上了床，虽然不见得是主动，但也并没有拒绝。然而，此时，“他们还是两个不相干的人，两个世界的人”。

人说“若能以婚姻的形式接受一个女人，心里必定会沉潜下来很多东西”，也许这就是白流苏期翼的那一点点“真”。

在《倾城之恋》中白流苏只是一个生长在大家庭中平凡到不能再平凡的女子。她离了婚，在一个特定的机会下结识了范柳原。我一直很喜欢这段话：“在日常世界里，他们间存在一场征服的战争，他们内心明争暗斗。什么是真的，什么是假的?她只喜欢他用更优厚的条件前来议和。但是在这个不可理喻的世界里，谁知道是什么因，什么果?谁知道呢，也许就是因为要成全她，一个大都市倾覆了。”也许流苏是幸运的，一场陷落让她等到了一个男人，一段婚姻。然而这终究是偶然的，正如张爱玲所说“到处都是传奇，可不见得有这么圆满的收场。”一个女人，把命运当作赌注，想来没有什么比这更可悲的了。

最近，我读了《三体》这本书。

本书主要讲了三体星系的人，试图在“降临派”的帮助下，试图占领地球。他们为达成此目的，通过在不同维度对一个质子进行编辑，得到了十分强大的“智子”。虽然极度科幻但仔细一想也很符合逻辑。最终，人们彻底铲除了降临派，并得到了许多重要地资料。

这本书富有强烈的科幻色彩，让我从中无法自拔。那三体世界用来催眠上帝的巨型钟摆，那一个个可以脱水的三体人，那三个在宇宙中无规律运动的恒星，逐一浮现在了我的面前。但是在这科幻中又不失逻辑，让人感到真实。作者在对三体人进行描述时，与大多把外星人写的十分善良，帮助人类。而真正的外星人更可能像《三体》中的一样，对比自己底下的物种毫不留情。然而，对地球人残忍的三体人也是可爱的，它们为了自己的生存，努力探索，并没有消极得等待死亡。这不也值得我们学习吗？

读完了这本书，我不禁得想到，在太空中真的有外星人吗？在茫茫的宇宙亿亿颗恒星闪闪发光，而围绕这些恒星的行星更是不计其数，谁又能肯定在它们中没有一个诞生文明？

当然，以上的一切都是未知的，也许得到答案的唯一方法就是等待了。

《水浒传》是中国古典四大名著之一，它的作者是施耐庵。《水浒传》这本书记述了以宋江为首的一百零八位好汉从聚义梁山泊，到受朝廷招安，最后梁山英雄灭了方腊，却遭__臣谋害的故事。

读完全书，我记忆犹新的是“北七星智取生辰纲。”这个故事的精华就是一个“智”字。被罢了官的杨志，好不容易获得了梁中书的信任，被派去运送生辰纲。有了上一次的教训，杨志一路小心翼翼，还走小道，并加强防护，但吴用派人多出打听，对他的行踪了如指掌，他在小路上设下埋伏，还和白胜等人演了一场戏，把杨志他们迷晕，运走生辰纲。

“北七星智取生辰纲”淋漓尽致的体现了吴用的聪明才智，在晁盖的的带领下，他们成功劫走生辰纲，这让很多绿林英雄拍手称赞的大事，因为这是很多人想干而不敢干的事。我也很佩服他们。

梁山一百零八位好汉中，我最喜欢吴学究吴用，人送外号“智多星。”梁山所有的军事行动几乎都是他一手策划的。他足智多谋，神机妙算。在生活中我要象吴用一样做一个善于思考、辩明是非的人。

最近我爱上了一本动物小说——《狼图腾》，它以有趣的写作手法和扣人心弦的故事情节深深的吸引了我。书里有北京知青陈阵，热情好客的蒙古族人民，还有令人敬畏的老猎人，更有那称王称霸的草原狼，勇敢机智。

这本书是作者姜戎30年的心血，他细致地描绘了俩个北京知青—陈阵和杨克来到蒙古额仑大草原，在一次掏狼崽的任务中收养了一只小狼，通过他们与小狼的朝夕共处，产生生死之情。

狼生性凶狠毒辣，为了生存，不惜一切代价用其超常的智慧才能捕食猎物。其中“狼与老兔决斗”这一片段当我胆颤惊心。小狼看到又肥又大的老兔，先亮出狼牙，使其畏惧三分，接着伸出前爪，试探动静。老兔也不甘弱抬起强有力的后腿像重炮一般，猛地一击，差点踢瞎小狼的左眼。小狼立刻退后三步，绕着老兔转圈试探几回，终于发现它的弱点，用迅雷不及掩耳之势，扑到老兔的面前，张开强有力的双爪，抓住兔头，使劲一拉，发现那对巨炮并没有伤害它，再用更大的力气往身边扯，等老兔气力用尽，无力挣扎时，用锋利的牙齿无比精准地咬住老兔的气管，直至于死亡，最后张开血盆大口，把老兔咀嚼的只剩下几颗牙齿。在适者生存的大自然里，只有强者才能存活。

大草原上的狼追求自由独立，拥有不屈不挠的高贵灵魂。小狼拒绝被人类用铁链牵着走，每次主人要牵它时，总会遭到他的极力反抗，露出狼牙，好像在告诉人们，我要自由，要想用铁链拴着我走，就给你颜色看看。即使人们强制套上铁链，它会一动不动趴着，哪怕脖子上已经勒出一条血痕，也可忍受死亡绞索的疼痛，仍然不放弃尊严。这是它们与宁愿被牵的动物最大的区别。

狼也除人类以外天下第一兵家，对近战、野战、奔袭站、游击战和运动战都了如指掌，很早就发现低音比高音传递更远……

狼的力量、机敏、纪律性等于或大于人类，这是狼称霸草原的原因。

读完这本书，改变了我对狼的看法，以前以为它们是残暴的侩子手，其实无论食与杀，都不是它们的目的，而是为了心中神圣不可侵犯的自由、独立和尊严。作为人类也一样，要活的自由，活的独立，才能在社会上获得尊重。

暑假里，妈妈见我一个人在家无聊便买了几本“雷欧幻想”才出的几本书——《查理九世之黑贝街的亡灵》，《查理九世之恐怖的巫女面具》，《查理九世之恶灵栖息的乌鸦城》，《查理九世之鬼公主的嫁衣》《查理九世之恶魔医务室》《查理九世之最后的古寺神佛》《查理九世之青铜棺的葬礼》《查理九世之白骨森林》，《查理九世之幽灵列车》，《查理九世之海龟岛的狩猎者》，《查理九世之海龟岛的狩猎者》，《查理九世之黑雾侏罗纪》，《查理九世之地狱温泉的诅咒》……读了《查理九世》这一本书，我深受启发，因为它上面记载了亲情、友情的故事，还有让人焦头烂额的数学题，还有恐怖的小说，又有点像福尔摩斯之类的案件，真是让我好好地过了一把瘾。

让我最受感动的是一本叫：《恶魔医务室》的一本书，上面讲了墨小侠一伙收到了一封神秘的委托信，要求他们在指定的时间到达指定的地点，有一个神秘的案件等着他们去……冒险队信心满满的前往，听到了一个传说——据说很久以前，在金华小学顶楼有一间医务室。医务室里面有一个老师叫杰森。当时有五十个孩子误入里面，其中有四十九个孩子都被他掏空了内脏，做成标本，永远摆放在医务室里。其中有一个孩子被杰森老师释放了出来，身高和正常学生一样，可体重却比大家都轻。

传说，那孩子的内脏早被恶魔杰森掏空了。恶魔杰森将他留在人间，并让他拥有了召唤恶魔的力量。直到80年以前，一位勇敢的军人带领学生们烧毁了那间医务室。恶魔杰森被烧成了灰烬，但他留下了极其恐怖的诅咒：终有一天，他跟他的孩子会再一次出现在学校里。“恶魔之子”将带领被诅咒的学生再次踏入恐怖的医务室，医务室里又将多出几具完美的人体标本……从那以后，实验室的顶楼，成了永远不可踏足的禁忌之地!

最后，他们齐心协力的了这个谜题。在这本书里我感觉到：只要齐心协力，就能成功。

放下沉甸甸的《三国演义》，那淋漓尽致的情节、拍案叫绝地计谋，还是余音绕梁，丰富的句子、富有表达性的好词佳句，都深深在我脑子里扎了根。

读了《三国演义》一书，使我受益匪浅。中国四大名著之一的《三国演义》是我国古代历史上一部重要的文学名著。《三国演义》刻划了近200个人物形象，其中有庸主献帝刘禅，气量狭隘的周瑜，忠厚的鲁肃，勇猛的张飞，重义的关羽，纳贤的刘备……但是在这些人物中最喜欢的还是诸葛亮.被称为是儒家伦理型的理想人物，他的“才“.“学“.“识“都注入了“仁政“的道德内容，他有独特的人格，择梧而栖，择主而事，他尽忠于刘备，尽忠于蜀汉，最后中献身于统一的大业中.“受任于败军之际，奉命于危难之间“随着蜀汉的衰亡悲剧，他也成了悲剧人物!

再说关羽，他也是留下印象最深的人物之一，他降汉不降曹、秉烛达旦、千里走单骑、过五关斩六将、古城斩蔡阳，后来又在华容道义释曹操。他忠于故主，因战败降敌，但一得知故主消息，便不知千里万里往投。我认为虽降了敌，但最后还是回来了，不但仍算忠，而且还要算一种难得可贵的忠啊。

还有猛将张飞，长坡桥单骑救主，智夺瓦口，义释严颜，可谓功不可没，只可惜关羽一死，便失去理智，不务正业，无故鞭打士兵，导致自己被手下两名小将刺杀，还陪上了黄忠、刘备和蜀国七十五万大军的性命，使蜀国状况一落千丈。相反，魏国名将司马懿对诸葛亮的辱骂置之不理，态度乐观，使一代奇才诸葛亮无计可使，以病死五丈原为告终。可见当遇见悲伤、痛苦、气愤的事情时，应该理智地控制情绪，用乐观的态度去战胜它，如果意气用事，后果将不堪设想。

总而言之，《三国演义》可以说是四大名著中的精品小说。作者在用笔上不仅有实写、虚写、详写、略写、插叙、倒叙，而且采用了沿线索来记叙的文学手法。它的社会影响，远远超过了它的文学价值。它留给我们青少年，乃至于整个中华民族的意义是深远的。

学习三国演义，我们就应该学习古代人的长处，借鉴他们的做法，更好的完善自己，做一个对现代社会有用的人。

《傲慢与偏见》是英国著名女作家简·奥斯丁的代表作，这部作品以日常生活为素材，一反当时社会上流行的感伤小说的内容和矫揉造作的写作方法，作品描写傲慢的单身青年达西与偏见的二小姐伊丽莎白、富裕的单身贵族，彬格莱与贤淑的大小姐吉英之间的感情纠葛。其实这本书，在初一时已经接触过了，但当时对于剧情的繁杂很没有耐心，看了几章就没有了兴致，便一直搁在一旁，直至今日才重新拾起。不过再看开头几章时还是觉得很无趣，到后来明白才这里是在为以后的情景埋伏笔。一眨眼，三十几章已经过去了，人物的性格也很明显地被作者刻画出来了。

这本书中似乎只有两种人：聪明的和愚蠢的，没有绝对的好坏之分，骗子韦翰也许除外。他利用了自己巧妙的奉承能力以及一付“讨人喜欢”的仪表，迷住了伊丽莎白，不停地为自己洗刷冤情，中伤达西。可笑他的话里充满破绽，而聪明过人的伊丽莎白虽能与彬格来小姐辩驳，与咖苔琳夫人顶撞，却还是被韦翰牵着鼻子走。说实话，我并不认为伊丽莎白被骗说明他是一个”愚人”。人，总是先入为主，达西先生傲慢、无礼的样子早已进入伊丽莎白的头脑，还怎么对他产生好感?对于旁人的点评又怎能轻易的置若罔闻?对达西产生偏见是很正常的。我说的旁人自然就是指相貌堂堂的韦翰了。不可否认，韦翰长着一张英俊的脸，表面上也装得非常”绅士”。虽有”人不可貌相”、”知人知面不知心”之说可就连我这个活在二十一世纪，以旁观者的身份看这个故事，仍然对韦翰产生好感，又岂能怨伊丽莎白这一个生活在过去时代的姑娘?合上这本书，仔细地品味一番，方才发现，整部小说，之所以吸引人，完全是因为它轻松幽默的格调。伊丽莎白的嘲笑讽刺，正将那些自视绅士、淑女的贵族的本来面目暴露无疑。而伊丽莎白的父亲班纳特先生竟然以嘲笑太太、女儿为家庭快乐，幸哉?不幸哉?

文中的所谓「傲慢」就是指出身富贵、教养颇高、眼光锐利的青年达西的个性弱点;而所谓「偏见」是指出身中产阶级、教养颇好、机智聪明的小姐-伊丽莎白的精神弱点。一个眼光锐利，一个机智聪明，都属人中杰，但却都难免人性的弱点的纠缠。他们在一次的家庭舞会上初次见面，却因对彼此的印象不佳，一个态度傲慢，另一个心怀偏见。第一个印象先入为主，以后又加上女人们在旁闲言碎语，而造成了两人之间的爱恨情仇。伊丽莎白曾对达西说过:“我们的性情非常相似,我们都不爱交际,沉默寡言,不愿开口,除非我们会说出话来语惊四座,像格言一样具有光彩,流传千古.”就是因为这思想上的一致,才在婚姻中百般受到阻碍,同时也是因为这才最后促成美满的婚姻.伊丽莎白:如果放到现实社会,可能是个女权主义者.但关心自己的姐妹.直接,偶尔不懂礼节,调皮一点.却是这样迷住了达西.最重要的是善于和敢于像比自己身份高的人说“不”。从小说看，伊丽莎白聪敏机智，有胆识，有远见，有很强的自尊心，并善于思考问题。就当时一个待嫁闺中的小姐来讲，这是难能可贵的。正是由于这种品质，才使她在爱情问题上有独立的主见，并导致她与达西组成美满的家庭。

这部小说中通过班耐特五个女儿对待终身大事的不同处理，表现出乡镇中产阶级家庭出身的少女对婚姻爱情问题的不同态度，从而反映了作者本人的婚姻观:为了财产、金钱和地位而结婚是错误的;而结婚不考虑上述因素也是愚蠢的。因此，她既反对为金钱而结婚，也反对把婚姻当儿戏。她强调理想婚姻的重要性，并把男女双方感情作为缔结理想婚姻的基石。书中的女主人公伊丽莎白出身于小地主家庭，为富豪子弟达西所热爱。达西不顾门第和财富的差距，向她求婚，却遭到拒绝。伊丽莎白对他的误会和偏见是一个原因，但主要的是她讨厌他的傲慢。因为达西的这种傲慢实际上是地位差异的反映，只要存在这种傲慢，他与伊丽莎白之间就不可能有共同的思想感情，也不可能有理想的婚姻。以后伊丽莎白亲眼观察了达西的为人处世和一系列所作所为，特别是看到他改变了过去那种骄傲自负的神态，消除了对他的误会和偏见，从而与他缔结了美满姻缘。伊丽莎白对达西先后几次求婚的不同态度，实际上反映了女性对人格独立和平等权利的追求。这是伊丽莎白这一人物形象的进步意义。

作品生动的反映了18世纪末到19世纪初处于保守和闭塞状态下的英国乡镇生活和世态人情。其社会风情画似的小说不仅在当时吸引着广大的读者，实至今日，仍给读者以独特的艺术享受。她是第一个现实地描绘日常平凡生活中平凡恩的小说家，在英国小说史上起了承上启下的作用。奥斯丁的小说尽管题材比较狭窄，故事相当平淡，但是她善於在日常平凡事物中塑造鲜明的人物形象，不论是伊丽莎白、达西那种作者认为值得肯定的人物，还是魏克翰、柯林斯这类遭到讽刺挖苦的对象，都写得真实动人。同时，奥斯丁的语言是经过锤炼的，她在对话艺术上讲究幽默、讽刺，常以风趣诙谐的语言烘托人物的性格特徵。这种艺术创新使她的作品具有自己的特色。傲慢与偏见正是文字魔力结合感情升华的最佳表现。若说《红楼梦》是东方的贵妇人.《傲慢与偏见》则是西方的清秀佳人。
