Last summer holiday, I went to Beijing for a week. The first day when I took off at the capital airport , it gave me the first feeling was cleanand tidy. The people in Beijing were very friendly. T he second day, I visited Beijing city. I went to the WangFujing Ave , I tasted many famous snacksand Beijing Roast Duck, they are very delicious. I also went to the XinDongfang square, it was a very big shopping mall, it took me about half an hour to walk between two doors. I can saw many famous brands: Cucci, Chanel, Rolex, Seiko, even the new Audi cars. It made me really want to stay in Beijing .The third day I visited the Tian’anmen Square, and it’s very beautiful. And the Chang’an Ave is wide ,straight and clean. The forth day, I went to the Forbidden City. It made me felt the emperor ’ s royal mausoleum was very luxury. The fifth day I went to the Summer Palace, I went boating there. The sixth day, I visited the Great Wall, it’s very terrific, this great architectural complex told us how clever the Chinese people are ! 上一年级的时候，我常犯粗心的毛病，数学作业不是抄错题目就是把答案的数字写错，错了还满不在乎。老师就要求你们一定要检查我的作业。谁知，爸爸帮我检查完，只是轻描淡写地说：“哦，错了三题”，“还不错，只错了一题”。至于具体哪题错了，却没有下文。我只有一题一题逐个检查，有时候错的没发现，倒把正确的改错了。爸爸再次检查还是不痛不痒的那句话：“嗯，错了两题”。当时，我真是恨死你了，你这样检查等于没检查，我反而更累，不象老师指出我哪题错了，我总是很快就能纠正过来。为这事，我没心没肺地对你说了很多不该说的话。可不满归不满，我还是自己一遍一遍地演算，就这样不知不觉地我的数学作业错误率越来越低。直到有一天，数学老师在课上表扬我，我才明白，是你帮助我纠正了学习的大忌——粗心的毛病。爸爸，我知道你不善于表达，你的爱就像一杯清茶，总要细细品味，才能感受到你在无形之中体现出来的理性而又深沉的父爱。

it. It supplies us with a variety of news every day. It tells us the political

situation of the world. If we form the habit of reading the newspaper， we shall

get enough knowledge to cope with our circumstances.

当下国人学习英语的目标，个人认为，不是纯粹的审美层面的。或是为了高考、大学英语四六级之类的等级考试，或是为了留学考试。真正静下心来，读一首英文诗歌，或许你会爱上英文的。

可以说，我的英语学习是为“雪耻”，小学的时候英语考试睁眼瞎，题都读不懂。到了初中，凭借优秀的语文和数学成绩，进入了英语实验班——是的，有一些滑稽。于是，在老师的悉心、严格的教学下，在我的努力下，英语终于按部就班地提高起来。中考英语以146分位居年级第一，进入了理想的直升班。

现在回想起来，简单的动机，为我打下了坚实的英语基础。当时，最开心的事情，就是每周的英语考试，可以读到新鲜热辣的时文。

不过，与那些英语原版世界名著相比，英语说明文就显得黯然失色了。当然，那些来自于《时代》周刊的英文消息，是很值得玩味的。至今记得那篇略显晦涩的对乔伊斯《尤利西斯》的报道。

今天，又窝在家里听英国文学史，打开一本诗集，顿时沉醉其中。

如果，能够以审美的维度，重新审视英语学习，我想，大家对英语学习的兴致，大概会浓厚很多了。

快乐的孝敬日

叮~~~叮~~叮~~，当清脆的放学铃声响起，我像刚出笼的小鸟一样奔向那充满爱的家。

回到家，我立马问爸爸辛不辛苦，我来帮你捶背，爸爸用眼睛奇怪的盯着我，问道:"这天是什么日子啊?太阳难道从西边出来了?"我不慌不忙地回答:"这天是我校的孝敬日，所以我来孝敬你们这些长辈呢!"我自豪的说道。然后我又端来满杯热气腾腾香茶递给爸爸，看见爸爸愉快的喝了一口，爸爸说:"真是我的乖儿子。"我听了，心里好像刚刚吃了花蜜那样甜。我跑到妈妈那儿。依偎在她的身上，充满笑容的问道:"我伟大的母亲，这天你做家务事累吗?我孝敬你了"，我于是不等妈妈问我干什么，一马当先地倒了一杯开水，递给我亲爱的妈妈，妈妈说:乖，儿子懂事了，能够做到关心长辈了。"我说:"妈妈你和爸爸我都会天天给你们端茶，捶背，做一点力所能及的事情。"爸爸妈妈听了，会心的对我自豪地笑了。我心里情不自禁偷偷地乐了。
