孔子有言：“弟子入则孝，出则弟，谨而信，泛爱众，而亲仁。行有余力，则以学文。”在《论语·学而》篇中，孝悌是与谨信、博爱、亲仁并列的优秀品格，而且被列在首位，是为人的基本准则，也是“学文”的重要基础之一。对自己的父母不懂得感恩，就不可能做到博爱。情感透支造成生命体验的缺失，即使勉强学习也无法体会先人的情感与思想。孔子的学生子夏说：“贤贤易色，事父母能竭其力，事君能致其身，与朋友交，言而有信。虽曰未学，吾必谓之学矣。”侍奉父母竭尽全力，为君主谋划才能竭尽忠心，在君君，臣臣，父父，子子的伦理观念中，人君如同人父，为人孝子，方能为人忠臣。有子曰：“其为人也孝弟，而好犯上者，鲜矣;不好犯上，而好作乱者，未之有也。君子务本，本立而道生。孝弟也者，其为仁之本与!”有若将孝悌提升到更高的境界，做人能够孝敬父母尊敬兄长，却喜欢犯上作乱的人是很少的。君子专心致力于修养孝悌精神，仁与道都以孝悌为根本，孝悌不但是为人子、为人臣的根本，还是追求仁与道的至高境界的基石。

孔子与学生讨论对待父母的态度时认为，当时的社会普遍把赡养父母当作孝顺，然而赡养父母是犬马也可以做到的事情，所以仅仅赡养父母还是远远不够的，如果不尊敬他们，那么人子与犬马的孩子没有什么区别。父母最担心的是孩子的健康，孩子出游在外，要保持身体健康，不让父母牵挂担忧，这也是孝敬父母;父母在世的时候，孩子经常陪伴在左右服侍，不要远游，如果一定要远游也要有一定的方向，让父母知道自己的行踪，这也是对于父母牵挂的一种慰藉。而意气风发的少年常常向往流浪的生活，早年不顾父母苦苦劝阻挽留背井离乡，无论衣锦还乡或浪子回头往往为时已晚，不免酿成子欲养而亲不在的遗憾。孩子不可以不记得父母的年龄，一方面要为父母高寿庆贺喜悦;另一方面，父母年事渐高，离我们远去的日子也就越来越近，作为子女要时常感到悲伤，才会更珍惜父母在世的时光，尽心尽力侍奉父母。

在侍奉父母的做法方面，孔子认为侍奉父母经常保持和颜悦色是件难事。家庭内外事务由子女去操劳，有美味的食物让父母先享用，但并不能仅以此作为孝的标准。如果看到父母有做得不对的地方，要多次婉转劝谏，如果父母没有采纳自己的意见，仍然要尊敬地侍奉，虽然内心忧虑，但对父母仍然不怨恨。侍奉父母、安葬父母、祭祀父母都要遵守“礼”的规则。孔子的学生宰我觉得为父母守丧三年太久了，孔子便说他不仁，孩子出生以后要在母亲的怀抱中三年才能自如行走，为父母守丧三年是为了报答父母在孩子不能走路时付出的辛劳，而宰我连这样的报答都不能做到。

“父在，观其志;父没，观其行;三年无改于父之道，可谓孝矣。”当父亲在世的时候，观察他的志向，当他父亲去世以后，观察他的行为。如果他长期不改变父亲的原则，可以说是做到孝了。强调孝的实际行动，孝不仅仅是事之以礼、葬之以礼、祭之以礼，生活中任劳任怨服侍周到、心中常常怀念都是不够的，要努力完成父母的理想，继承和发扬他们的优点。孩子是父母生命的延续，作为孝子，要让父母的精神也在自己的身上延续下去。

诗人说母亲是珠蚌，因为培养一粒顽石而使自己痛苦不已。她并没有因此拒绝抚养，而是以自己厚重而宽宥的母爱将它一层层包裹起来，直至它成为一颗光泽耀眼圆润无瑕的珍珠。台湾著名诗人、散文家余光中先生在《母难日》中写道：这世界从你走后已变得不能指认，唯一不变的只有对你永久的感恩。孔子推崇的孝道已经是千百年来华夏子孙共同尊奉的民族信条，也将会成为千千万万后来人的道德准则。

人的一生之中，从小时候起，就领受了父母亲的养育之恩，等到上学，有老师的教育之恩，年纪大了之后，又免不了要接受晚辈的赡养照顾之恩，作文 -学会感恩。

记得在上次学校开感恩劢志教育会的时候，妈妈因为有事不能来到长沙就让外婆代替她来开报告会，我有一个十分超级的不好，因为外婆说的普通话很难听，连我都听不懂，所以就不想让外婆代替妈妈开报告会，可是这又是永远也改变不了的东西，我只好接受了这样一个我不想面对的事实了。

让我记忆犹新的一件事就是在会中的时候樊涛老师（中国感恩劢志教育会会员）跟我们说：孩子们跟你们坐在一起的人是你最亲的家人，有可能坐在你身旁的人是你爷爷、奶奶、外公、外婆，他们有可能连一首普普通通的歌都不会唱，更有可能连普通话都有不会说，但你们看看他们的手，粗糙又难看，你们想一想是什么原因导致他们的手这样的呢？就是为了你们这些孩子啊！她们永远愿意为你们做一些有利的事。

等报告会结束之后，我冷静地想了很久，心里很内疚，外婆虽然不会说普通话，可是为了我，她东奔西跑的都不觉得累，这种外婆还不好吗？，于是我发誓再也不埋怨外婆了。

在现实中，我还见到了一件我亲眼看见的事，有一个老太太，已经70多岁了，有三个儿子，三个儿子看老太太老了，就谁也不愿意去养，老太太一气之下，把三个儿子告上了法庭，小学四年级作文《作文 -学会感恩》。三个儿子被逼交上赡养费，可是钱在老太太眼中却不是最好的，她说，我只要三个儿子都回心转意，我想让他们回家。老太太的这句话打动了在场的许多人。

是啊！在现实生活中，像上文中的三个儿子的人还有许多许多，父母把他们抚养成人后，不仅不报答，还抛弃父母，完全不想父母以前怎么对他们的，只想自已过得好、吃得好、睡的好就行了，假如他们也像父母一样老了，自已的子女也像他们对待自已的父母一样对他们，那他们肯定会很后悔自已曾经做过对父母不对的事。

“感恩的心，感谢有你伴我一生，让我有勇气做我自已，感恩的心，感谢命运，花开花落，我一样会珍惜。”这首歌，使我明白没有阳光，就没有温暖，没有水源，就没有生命，没有父母就没有我们自已，没有亲情和友情，世界就会是一片孤独和黑暗，为了摆脱它，我们需要一颗感恩的心。

1．词语选择的重要性

在The Right Word at the Right Time的“序言”中，编者对词语选用的重要性作了一个很好的比喻：“Using the right word at the right time is rather like wearing appropriate clothing for the occasion：

it is a courtesy to others，and a favor to yourself-a matter of presenting yourself well in the eyes of the world."

显然，说话或写文章时用词适当比穿着适当难度大得多，因而也具有更大的重要性。在我国，古人写文章时常为一个词语的选用具思苦想，因而有“语不惊人死不休”的说法。

成语“一字值千金”也说明了选择词语的极端重要性。有时“一字之差”造成令人遗憾的败笔，或招致成千上万的经济损失。这些反面的教训也告诉我们必须重视词语选用的问题。

2．词语选择的可能性

实际上，我们每个人的脑子里都有了一个或大或小的词库，只要我们肯去发掘，往往可以得到更好的表达方式。这是我们做好词语选用的主观条件。

从客观条件广看，我们有各种类型的词典和参考书，只要我们平时多翻译、多阅读，写作时勤查考，就会在词语选用上不断进步。当然，一部好词典也不会毫无缺点，更难以面面俱到，因此在这里我们应牢牢记住著名英国作家、评论家和辞书编纂家Johson的话：

My Christmas Day

Chritmas is the day that Jesus Christ was born. people in the world celebrate and worship this day in his honor. The santa claus will come out and send presents for children. Christmas cards and decorated trees are all over the place. The carolling of Christmas songs echo through the air. I am not a Chirstian, but I also enjoy the atmosphere of Chrismas. I really like to look at the little stars,when I look at them,I feel very relax and happy.The stars are quiet and just like full of beautiful magic, its amazing.

Just like wonders,the stars in the deepest blue sky are so pretty,“one , two, three, four, five, six, seven”there are so many stars in the sky,I really cant count it.

When I am so lonely,I will look at the sky, tell the little stars my little secrets,tell the little stars my dream,tell them many interesting things,and then I will feel less lonely.

I like the stars in the sky,what about you?

也许星星意味着梦，我喜欢蓝色天空中的星星，它总是明亮美丽的，永远带着我进入一个美丽的梦。

我真的很喜欢看这些小星星，当看着它们的时候，我感到非常放松和快乐。星星是安静的，就像充满了美丽的魔法一样，令人惊奇。

就像奇迹一样，在最湛蓝的天空中，星星是如此美丽，“一、二、三、四、五、六、七”，天空中有那么多星星，实在数不胜数。

当我如此孤独的时候，我会看着天空，告诉小星星我的小秘密，告诉小星星我的梦想，告诉他们许许多多有趣的事情，然后我会感到不那么孤单。

Hello everybody, my name is xx. Is the xx school students. Very pleased to be able to participate in the Expo volunteers interview, also very grateful to the school for giving me this opportunity and hope through this interview, so I can become a glorious and sacred Expo volunteers.

In my mind, a new generation of young volunteers are responsible and dedicated, without asking, a symbol of selfless dedication.

As a professional student exhibition, the first day of school I took my Expo tight, organic link, looking forward to one day into the Expo, more profound, more direct understanding of the Expo.

Now I have the opportunity near the Expo, more eager I am able to participate as a volunteer in the Expo, I will use what I learned, the enthusiasm for the World Expo services, and through my efforts, to our great, Beautiful China has shown in front of the world, and let the world understand China, love China.
