说到这里，苏代讲了一个故事：从前有一个人，他的房子起火了，别人劝他快用水去浇灭大火，但他不听，偏抱起一捆柴草去救火，是因为他不懂得柴草不但不能灭火反而能助长火势的道理。大王若同意拿着魏国土地去求和，不就等于抱着柴草救火吗？”

尽管苏代讲得头头是道，但是胆小的魏王只顾眼前的太平，还是依大臣们的意见把魏国大片土地割让给秦国。到公元225年，果然秦军又向魏国大举进攻，包围了国都大梁，掘开黄河大堤让洪水淹没了大梁城，魏国终于被秦国灭掉了。

故事出自《史记魏世家》。成语“抱薪救火”比喻用错误的方法去消灭祸害，结果反而使祸害扩大。

The Lantern Festival (元宵节) is the last day of the Chinese New Year celebration.

This day is for the last moment for setting off fireworks, the last excuse for eating a big feast and the last chance for family getting together before the “年” celebrations are over. (Latern Festival is also a traditional time of celebration for foreigners who live in China).

The Lantern Festival, the 15th of the first month of the lunar calendar, is the first full moon of the year.

Traditions for this festival: as the name indicates, hanging and looking at lanterns is the main tradition.

Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are displayed on trees, or along river banks.

Another tradition is guessing lantern riddles. These are riddles that are hung on lanterns for people to shoot down and solve. The riddles are usually short, wise, and sometimes humorous.

The answer to a riddle can be a Chinese character, a famous persons name, a place name or a proverb. This tradition has become a popular game with serious staying power even as social development changes other traditions.

Other than that, the most important thing to do today is to eat sweet dumplings. In northern China, sweet dumplings made of glutinous rice flour are called “元宵” while in southern part they are called “汤圆”.

Last autumn we took a trip to Qianshan by bus.It is about thirty miles from the city.We planned to put up in a hotel there in order to watch the sun rise the next morning.

There has been a long time since I came back from Hainan―wowhainan is such a wonderful place that I will never forget it .It‘s really a good place where gave me a rather good impression. I feel so wonderful during the journey as I have experienced a lot of things for the first time.

In January 7th ---the first day of my journey the fluttering snowflakes diffused over Changzhou. I first took the train to shanghai then took the plane to Hainan in Pudong airport. Although it’s my second time to take plane I felt even more excited than the first time. When flying I found that I was flying over the cloud of different types and colors. The sky is also brighter and clearer than that I had ever seen. Soon we arrived in Meilan airport in Haikou the climate is totally different from that in Changzhou It was warm there and we could see coconut trees everywhere.

After 3 days competition I went to BoAo where is famous for its forum. It was my first time to experience the sea and the beach in the sunshine. When sitting on the cruise I could clearly see the ocean waves pushing the windows of the cruise. It seemed that I was surrounded by the waves and the crystal water. I felt as if a fish which had been living in the sea happily. Then we land on the beach. The sand on the beach was so soft that it was cosy to lie on the beach. I tried searching for the shells on the beach but failed. The beach was totally different from what I heard before as there was nothing except footsteps on the beach. In the afternoon I played football on beach and scored a goal with my new friends from all around China. It was really interesting and challenging.

The next day I went to Haikou. I first visited the tomb of Hairui an officer in Qing dynasty who was famous for rectitude. I think he should be the role model of every person. In the afternoon I went to the geological park of volcano. A lot of stones of different shapes came into views. When arriving the top of the park it seemed that the while city was under my view. Also I had seen plenty of interesting and rare types of the plants. I also got into a small hole in the park it is said that the hold was exactly the original hole where maqma came from. But the volcano had stopped from erupting for thousands of years.

I can’t forget this trip not only does it give me a lot of joy knowledge and good memory but also it give me a chance to make friends with people from different fart in China. By enjoying the excellent scenery I think I have fallen in love with this beautiful city. I will cherish this experience.

Standing for a moment, the teacher told us to sit down, so I couldnt lift my spirits in the whole class. I was in a terrible mood. Good mood soon came to my side, the bell rang, the eye exercises, exercises when I thought I was wrong, I was wrong, in fact, if I had been more careful if not wrong, next time I will correct the error, to prove to the teacher. In the future,I hope I can be a reporter.As a reporter,in order to find many good news, I will travel in different cities everyday.And i will meet a lot ofstars .First,i will study hard,as a reporter,i should have a good command of Chinese,if i have to report in English,i also need to study English very hard.

孝顺这两个字眼，相信大家都耳熟能详，大家也都了解那两个字所包含的意义，知道该怎麽孝顺长辈，孝顺父母，可是，实际去孝顺父母，长辈的人数不到一半。

我现在六年级的道德课本，有几页，几面的内容，和我们常见到的孝顺这字眼有关。内容的主角是一种动物“乌鸦”，它的故事的大意是这样的：乌鸦妈妈有两个乌鸦宝宝，因为宝宝一生出来还不会飞，所以乌鸦妈妈找食物喂给它们吃，宝宝长大了，会飞了，可是乌鸦妈妈已经老了，飞不动了，小孩为了要孝顺母亲，出去外头找食物回来给母亲吃。乌鸦反哺这个故事主要内容就是两个字孝顺。

那时，老师又补充了一则有关於孝顺的事，有看过新闻的人应该也知道，有一位老博士，是知所进退的贤哲，他知道自己年纪大了，所以退休回家享清福，可是，这就是恶梦的开始，他有三个儿子在外国读书，因为老博士须要一些生活费，打电话到国外给三个儿子叫他们每一个人每个月寄二百元美金回来，但只有大儿子有寄回台湾一次钱而已，老博士因他的儿子不孝，所以控告他那三个儿子，但他的儿子在国外不是在台湾，所以无法控告，做父亲的只好忍受孩儿对父亲的不孝。

两个故事，你比较喜欢哪一个而且，你自己是否有想过，你以后的角色是乌鸦的孩子还是老博士的那三个一点都不孝顺的儿子呢我想请你们清楚的想一想，动物乌鸦都做得到这个孝顺，何况是我们人类，老博士那三个儿子是不是连乌鸦都不如啊！
