So, perhaps, shall break upon us that eternal morning, when crag and chasm shall be no more, neither hill and valley, nor great unvintaged ocean; but all things shall arise, and shine in the light of the Father’s countenance, because itself is risen.

"左擦擦，右擦擦......”我一边哼着自编的小调儿，一边勤快地洗着碗儿。总之，我对洗碗这种小菜一碟的事情是充满兴趣的。不信，你瞧我这般架势：左手拿碗，右手抓着抹布，有模有样地洗着。可没想到是，我在中途遇到了一只“拦路虎”：小花碗和我开玩笑，调皮地从我手里溜到了水池里，自个儿跳起了“水上迪斯科”。我生气了，表情由晴转阴，皱起眉头，毫不客气地拿起油油的小花碗，对它气呼呼地说：“你不仁我也不义!"也许它害怕我了，便不再也不敢调皮地玩滑滑梯了。

接下来，我就得理解妈妈的检查了。原本我还以为能够得到一枚“洗碗勋章”。可妈妈的话如同晴天霹雳：“哦，这个米粒儿是怎样回事？”我一下“囧”了，脸瞬间像魔术般红成了大苹果。我立刻拿起碗重新洗，这次，我比刚刚认真了许多，因为我想得到妈妈的认可。

“哦，我最后再次洗完了！”我长舒了一口气，转过身去刚想叫妈妈，却只见妈妈倚在在厨房门旁，欣慰地看着我，给了我一个爱的拥抱。

“百善孝为先”让我们用语言、用行动从小事情做起，向父母传递一份爱，表达一份孝心。

满父母之意，乃孝；遵父母之训，乃孝；敬父母之敬，乃孝……

孝，就是指尊敬、赡养父母。你看，这么简单的一个字，竟有如此之多的含义。老人常说：“百善孝为先”。是啊，一个人如果连孝都不懂得，何以立足于社会呢？作为子女，我们就应该把孝敬老人放在第一位，千万不能与父母发生争执。

孝，还是一个人必需的品格。你想，如果一个人从来不尊敬父母，那么他还能干出什么大事呢？你想，如果一个人从来不听父母的训诫，他会是一个好人吗？

一次妇女节，老师交待了一项任务：回家为妈妈干一件事。于是回家后，我认真打扫了一遍家。妈妈吃惊地说：“呦！你今天怎么变得这样孝顺？”听完这话，我深受感触。想起以前从不这样帮助妈妈，今天还是为了完成老师的任务……想到这里，我不禁潸然泪下，从那时起，我便立志做一个孝顺父母的好孩子。

《孝经》有记载：“身体发肤，受之父母，不敢毁之，始之孝也。”可见孝道从古至今从未间断过。同学们，我们要懂得孝，牢记孝。
