但是这些小事，却能让父母感动很久很久。孝不需要山珍海味，同样也不需要千万豪宅，也许你的孝心不豪华，只是亲手为爸妈做一顿他们爱吃的，他们就已经很开心。

中国自古被称为礼仪之邦，在这样的社会中有榜样，亦有糟粕。

“……如今当上公务员的北大硕士高材生对其父母亲实施严厉的家暴，打母亲耳光，咬其父胳膊……”如此恶劣的行为发生在一个受过高等教育的北大硕士生身上，我们不免要反思，中国怎么了？中国的孝道丢掉了吗？

子曰："今之孝者，是谓能养。至于犬马，皆能有养；不敬，何以别乎？"孔子认为，所谓孝道，绝不仅仅是子女对父母，后辈对长辈衣食住行的生存供养，而是不论为人父母还是为人子女，都要尽到做父母做子女应尽的社会责任与义务，这样才是真正的关爱孝顺。由此看出，孔子强调的孝应建于“敬心”之上。

如今现代人有吃有穿，过着奢侈的生活，父母更是宠溺着孩子，更以如今的计划生育政策，独生子女家庭增多，养儿防老，父母竭尽全力为自己的孩子奉献一切，到最后，仍有个别会受到惨绝人寰的代价，然而有些父母依然会为他们的孩子开脱，我宁愿相信是善良的老父亲不想“家丑外扬”，怕影响孩子的声誉。天下无不是的父母，为何我们总能看到一幕幕不养老，不孝顺的子女罔顾人伦。

正所谓孝养父母兼奉，唯心为难。发乎内心，见之于辞色。辞色温婉和顺，就是能够使父母愉快。让父母怀着欢乐的心境颐养天年，重要的不仅仅是在衣食等方面侍奉，赡养。尤其是要有一颗善良敬爱的心。心存爱敬，欢乐的度过每一个日子，唯心诚孝，才是真正的孝行。
