Gulangyu — A fairyland in the world

Gulangyu is a small island of Xiamen. It’s like a garden on the water. Cars and buses are not allowed to drive there, which makes the island so quiet that music played on the piano and violin can be heard.

Here the sky and the sea clearly meet on the horizon. When standing at the top of the Sunshine Rock, you can see much of the landscape of Xiamen, and when standing at its foot, you can gaze at the beautiful garden that surrounds it.

星期五下午，我们全班一齐观看了《中华孝道》这部影片，看后十分引人深思。

这部影片主要讲了：由于妈妈早产，生下的孩子天生不会走路，妈妈就带着他奔波于大城市间为他治疗，还每一天陪他做康复训练，喂她吃药。

妈妈给他无私的爱，但妈妈却承受了太多太多……经过他们坚持不懈的努力，病情最后有了好转。从中也让我明白了一个道理：完美的理想务必靠坚强的毅力去拼搏才能实现。

看完这部影片我想了很多：我们生活在幸福的家庭里，我们的成长离不开父母的关心与呵护，一家人相亲相守就是最大的幸福。在学校里有老师的关爱和班群众的温暖，我们更就应好好学习，用最好的成绩回报老师和父母的爱。

I have a happy family. Though there is only a little furniture in my home and everything in the rooms seems rather disorderly, I love my home very much.

这天，我演讲的题目是，孝心？孝道。

是谁教会了我们吖吖学语？

是父母！

我觉得，父母对我们的爱就像一杯咖啡，静静地向周围弥漫特殊的芳香，它的味道稍带苦涩，而它的糖份却积存在杯底，只有喝到最后，才能品出它那香甜的滋味。

仔细回想，夏天那一盘甘爽的西瓜，冬天那一杯温热的牛奶，学习时那一句关心的问候，玩耍时那一声留意的叮咛……父母总是在暗处默默地做我们成长的基石，多少苦累，却从未说过一次。对于如此莫大的恩情，我们怎能不给予回报呢？

苏辙曾说：慈孝之心，人皆有之。还记得2004年感动中国人物田世国吗？田世国只是一名普通的工人，但他把自我生命的一部分回馈给病危的母亲。母亲的生命也许依然脆弱，但是孝子的爱已经坚如磐石。

When he adjusted his mind, living on fishing with A Gan, he started to enjoy the wonderful life and thank A Gans help. The movie is intended to tell people that life is wonderful by this character. Rainbow is always after cloud. The key point is that whether we have a good mind and an opportunity to ourselves to change bad situation. The movie is also sent such a message to us: do well what we should do, and life will return us well. There will be a miracle if only there is perseverance.

当曾祖母老了走不动了，拿不起汤勺了，奶奶衣不解带地侍奉在曾祖母床边。有时曾祖母大小便失禁，整个床上臭烘烘的，我见了连忙躲得远远的，捂着鼻子，皱着眉头，喊着：“太臭啦！太臭啦！”但是奶奶既不会嫌弃，而且还二话不说就忙活起来，即使这样奶奶也会常常问候曾祖母一些关心的话语，为曾祖母煮上香喷喷的饭菜，奶奶看着曾祖母吃得津津有味，脸上也乐开了花。每当我在家时总能望见奶奶忙碌的身影，以及湿透、变形的后背，不时看到那厚重的黑眼圈。奶奶也没有任何怨言，我想这就是孝道吧。

today i want to tell you that you dont need to worry about me any more.

im grown up! i will be responsible for my life and for my future. i will study

very hard. i will exercise everyday to keep fit. i will read english every

morning and every night. i will make the best use of every spare minute. i will

be happy, confident, positive and energetic everyday!! i will develop good

habits and use them to constantly improve myself. i will never do anything that

would harm my body or my mind. i will never do anything that would make you feel

disappointed or ashamed. i will learn as much as i can and become smarter and

stronger every day. i have learned by watching you that the best way to reach my

goals is to work hard and never give up. you’re my best role models. you set a

great example for me.

i have so many great dreams. i know that realizing these dreams will take a

lot of time and effort. but dont worry about me. i have strong confidence in

myself. i know if i keep trying, keep working hard and keep dreaming, i will

definitely realize all my dreams. i will be somebody special. but i will not

only care about myself. i will contribute to my school, my hometown and my

country. i will contribute to society. i will use all my abilities and talents

to help my family and my country have a glorious future. i will make a

difference in this world.

dear mom and dad, you’ll be proud of me! you will see great results from

all your hard work and sacrifice. thank you very much for your continued

support! thank you very much for your patience, love and understanding. i love

you! i appreciate you! i’m very proud of you!

exercise every day to keep healthy! enjoy life every day and stay happy! my

only hope for you is you both to enjoy continued health and happiness. you

brought me into this word to share your life. i will do my best to make sure

each day of it is filled with joy and pride.

mom & dad, you are the best parents in the world! i don’t know what i
