孝，一个简简单单的字传承了中华民主的优良传统，百善孝为先，孝是中华民族提倡的行为，指儿女的行为不应当违背父母，长辈，孝，善事父母者，孝在我心中作文。就是说孝就是要善待父母。小时候，常常听到父母教导，长大了要孝顺父母尊敬长辈，不顶撞不打骂长辈，要顺从长辈。

孝作为一个伦理观念正式提出是在西周。在西周，孝的含义有：一、尊祖敬宗。施孝（尽孝）的方式主要是祭祀，在宗庙通过奉献供品祭祀祖先，尽孝的对象是死去的人，这带有一定的宗教形式。二、传宗接代。在周人看来，祖先是我辈的生命之所生，因此，崇拜祖先就是把祖先的生命延续下去，生生不息。子曰：今之孝者，是谓能养。至于犬马，皆能有养；不敬，何以别乎若不尊敬父母那和养牲口有什么区别？真正意义上汉传统文化里面的孝是以敬为前提的，对内心的敬最好的表达就是顺，顺就是趋向同一个方向，即孝顺、孝敬，所以孝的本质是顺从。

记得初中老师说过，孝字，上有一个老子的上半身，下面是一个子字。就是说做子女的必须背着父母，也就是说要顺从父母，要记得你身上肩负着赡养父母的责任和义务。

The characteristics of formal writing

1.名词化趋势

I do not eat much.-->I am a light eater.

The clock on the desk reminds me of time.-->I put a clock on the desk as a reminder of time.

注意:名词化趋势的句子当然还有动词, 目的是尽量把表达句子中心意思的那个词汇用名词表达.符合英文的习惯.

2.无灵主语(区别于被动语态)

我们中文写作中,习惯以人做主语,而英文则相反,习惯以物做主格.

-->A glance out of the window offers you a nice view.

注意: 名词化趋势和无灵主语常常是相结合的.

3.被动语态

Main features of English sentences:

1.长短句结合

Love is patient and kind. It is never jealous, boastful, proud or rude. It keeps no record of wrong that others do. It always protects, always fruits, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails.

一般来讲,总结性的句子应当使用短句,而说理的句子应用长句.

2.并列复合句

这种句子属于十分难写的句子,也举一个例子:

He who wants to save his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for me will save it.

3.单一复合句

也就是我们常说的各种从句,不再举例.

三、Variety of sentences:

1. ”-ing & -ed” groups

e.g.

5.主语从句

e.g.

句子的变化还有 It is self-evident(adj) that…….和There be 这样的句子

6.倒装

(1)将一些否定性含义的副词和短语在句首,用倒装会使句子生色不少.

Never before has such a high standard been achieved.

(2)为使描绘更加生动,与介词同形的副词可以移动到句首,而把主语放到谓语后面去.

四、插入语

插入语可以是一个小词,也可以是一个同谓语的形式.

1.先看一个小技巧：(对there be 句型均有效)

通俗的讲,在老外眼里,主语与谓语离的越远,句子的档次越高.

2.插入语后面再接上一个定语从句;

再看几个同谓语从句的例子:

平时要多积累这样的句型,使之变成自己的语言.

Tip:对同谓语的解释尽量宽泛一些,有利于句子的拉长.

对于入语加定语从句开头.

就是说:将题目中的中心词拿出来,进行宽泛的解释.

这一方法对很大一部分的考题都是有效的.
