从古至今，泱泱华夏的子孙无不显示着一个民族传统的自身魅力——“孝”。中华儿女泼墨挥洒出章章“孝”的佳篇。这边“十月胎恩重，三生报答轻。”，那边“尊前慈母在，浪子不觉寒。”

俗话说得好：“君子立身，孝字为本。”如果你想在社会上立身，就必须学会“孝”。“孝”的上半部分是一个“老”字，下半部分是一个“子”字。其内涵就是一个老人把自己的拐杖扔了，而自己的孩子能立刻跑过来，扶住老人，其实，这就是最基本的“孝”。

我曾经听过这样一个故事：一个孩子因为与他的父母吵架，离家出走了。他走在大街上，路过的好心人问他：“小朋友，你怎么了？”那个孩子回答“我和父母吵架，便离家出走了。”“那你饿吗？”好心人问道。“饿”，孩子有气无力的回答道。好心的市民二话不说，转身从旁边的小店买了一碗馄饨给他吃。“谢谢！谢谢！”那孩子连声说道。“我只是给了你一碗馄饨而已，而你的父母却给了你那么多，你难道不应该感谢他们吗？”好心的市民说道。孩子突然明白了过来，于是就飞快的往家里跑去。。孩子回到家对父母说了很多感恩道歉的话，他也知道了孩子是父母的全部心血，父母在孩子身上寄托了所有，便从此发奋读书，成为了一个杰出的人物。想知道他是谁吗？他就是当代的大诗人——艾青。在古代和现代，人们都应提倡“孝”道，因为“百善孝为先”这是中华民族的传统美德。一个人如果做不到孝顺自己的父母，那么就算他再有才华也没有。

“忠孝”二字无处不在，人们善于发现孝道，也用其来自勉，例如：“乌鸦反哺”，“羊羔跪乳”等等。

“孝”有三境，“父母在，子不远游，游必有方。”此为第一境，“事父母，能竭其力，养则致其乐，病则到其忧。”此为第二境，“今之孝者，是为能养，至于犬马，皆能有养。不敬，何以别乎”此为第三境，居此平衡，我自认为不过第一境。

在我们生活中，无论是过去，现在和未来，都布满着许多“孝之花”。你不能忘记这是一份深厚的感情，这是一份绵绵的爱。我紧握双手，因为拥有而感到满足，有一股温情拂拂然涌进我的心田。我深深的感动，惟有“谁言寸草心，报得三春晖”才不枉这一生。

“孝”就如一杯飘香的清茶，只有细细品味才能尝尽其中的味道。

English is one of my best subjects and I started learning English when I

was ten years old. But at the very beginning, listening seemed a little

difficult for me. So I have been doing a lot of listening practice, such as

listening to tapes, watching English TV programs. And I found it really helped a

lot. In fact, there are some more helpful ways to learn English well. For

example, I enjoy singing English songs and I want to join an English club or

find a pen pal from English-speaking countries. I believe that nothing is

impossible if you put your heart into it。
