世界上有一种爱，平凡而伟大。这种无私而伟大的爱就是母爱。母爱在我们需要帮助的时候出现，在我们需要关怀的时候出现，母爱每时每刻都在我们身边，所以，我们应该感恩母爱。

母亲一次又一次地关心着我们、呵护着我们。记得有一次，我生病了，十分严重，爸爸又去上班了，没有办法开车送我去医院。这是外面下着倾盆大雨，只有我和妈妈两个人在家。妈妈联系了爸爸之后确定爸爸没有办法回来，就背着我来到了医院，到了医院妈妈一刻都没有停下来，一会儿给我挂号，一会儿喂我吃药，一会儿又给我倒水……我坐在一旁，却帮不上什么忙，还要给妈妈添麻烦，真的觉得很愧疚。慢慢地我睡着了，等我再次醒来的时候，已经是第二天早上了。睁开眼睛看到的就是妈妈忙碌的身影，我轻轻地叫了她一生，妈妈转过头来，我看到她眼睛里充满了血丝，一看就是一夜都没有睡……

母爱就像一堵墙，为我们遮风挡雨。我的妈妈一夜没睡这是为了什么？都是为了我呀！母亲们的无私奉献，都是为了让我们这些小树苗茁壮成长。母亲用充满爱的双手，抚摸着我们，鼓励着我们飞向湛蓝的天空，去触碰那些洁白柔软的云朵。母亲是我人生的第一个老师，她在我遇到难题时出现，帮助我解决问题，日复一日，耐心细致。
