First， I am grateful for my parents. They have spent so much money for me， but never ask for anything in return. I really know how hard it is to work on such living conditions.

Free Admission to Parks

To encourage people to go outside and relax, a mounting number of parks offer free admission now. People benefit from it, especially during these tough economic times. With free entry, more people will have the opportunity for affordable vacations for families, taking pleasure in the natural landscape.

Fresh air and landscapes in parks are good for people. However, too many people

flocking into parks might not be so good for the parks.

For example, some visitors leave their garbage behind, which may cause environmental pollution. And people’s barbeques and stamping will also bring damage to the grassland and other greeneries in parks.

As a university student, I’m in favor of free admission to parks. Free entry to parks not only saves people’s expenditure, but also makes things fairer — people like the poor and students can go to parks frequently as well. Nowadays, it’s a common phenomenon that college students fall in love with

others because they cannot stand loneliness. In my point of view, I believe that

活是活着呢，活得咋样?你给父母拿来山珍海味，但是就随手往桌上一礅，然后冷淡无比的来一声：“吃吧。”看见老娘在洗衣服，很不耐烦地来句：“我来。”这就是孝?孝敬本应使父母快乐，你就那么多不耐烦，他们能乐得起来吗?父母只需要物质上的“养”，就不需要精神上的“敬”?不但需要，而且老人需要的比我们更多。缺少了“敬”的“养”，一定是态度出现了问题，这个态度问题主要还是在于为人子女者的孝心不是根于诚笃。

孝道作为儒家伦理思想的核心，作为千百年来中国社会维系家庭关系的道德准则，是中华民族的传统美德。而在新中国成立以来相当长的一段时间里，孝道被当作封建糟粕遭到否定。的确，传统孝道不免糟粕。孝经有云：“毛发色肤取之于父母，稍有损耗是为不孝”，这有些苛刻;丁兰“刻木求亲”稍有做作与夸张;郭巨“埋儿奉母”之举也未免迂腐。“顺者为孝”也有些不人性;至于“君让臣死，臣不得不死;父让子亡，子不能不亡”就更让我们难以接收了。我们这么想不为过。我们不需要那么做，更不必要那么做，可是孝道本身所具备的美德特质我们没有资格否定。

孝道作为维系和促进以家庭为细胞的社会的进步与发展，绝对应该发扬光大，而且誓在必行。从风俗角度上说，这更是极为重要的。元代张养浩说：“盖自上而下者谓之风，因上而成者谓之俗，故风俗，国家之元气，风俗厚则元气盛……风俗薄则元气衰……”元代御史上奏时也说过：“国家以风俗为本，……而风俗厚为治之至要也。”对于当今社会的风俗如何，笔者不敢妄下言论。简单说来我们起码得有个全国上下都一致的观点吧!

一个民族的强大是因为整个民族心往一块想、劲往一块使，有相同的价值观、世界观、人生观，这就形成了强大的民族凝聚力。说到此处似乎与孝道甚远了，也过于理想化，然而离我们最近的、最实际的、也是最容易普及的统一民风不正是孝道吗?一个人还不能爱自己的家、自己的家人，又如何去爱别人的家，乃至于国家这个大家庭呢?连最容易的“风”也形成不了，那只能眼看着“疯”了。民族整体素质的提高也是个循序渐进的过程，发扬光大了孝道，再谈其他的也就不远了。

The Lunar New Year  a great occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year， during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school， and shops are closed.

Several days before the new year， people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs， sheep， cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fh and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; coupletsare posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

On the eve of the new year， each family has its members gatherd together and eats a family reunion dinner. After the meal they watch TV until the clock strickes twelve. Then every family sets off long strings of small firecrackers and other fire works to welcome the new year. On the first day of the new year， almost everyone  dressed in h or her best. When people meet on the way， they say to each other "Happy New Year". Friends and relatives pay new year calls and gives presents to each other. Children indulge themselves in games.

It was a fine day today and the sun was bright. I visited Beijing Zoo with

my classmate, He Song. The animals were so interesting that all the people loved

them. When a bear asked for some food by waving its ann, a visitor threw

something to it. At once I went up to him and said without thinking,Dont do
