一、转换思维，确立英语在各学科中的重要地位

首先老师必须帮助学生确立这样的观点：英语是主课，不是豆芽课。在小学阶段，不论是老师，学生，还是家长，可能都看重语文，数学的学习。在小学的英语教学中，老师主要是以游戏为主，关键是学校和教育部门对英语的评估不如语文数学那样重视。所以学生普遍认为语文，数学很重要，英语是豆芽课，学英语就跟玩似的。到了中学，仍然主攻语数、理化，依然把英语当副科。一个学生亲口跟我说：我一直都以为初中英语跟小学一样，是豆芽课。我心痛不已。在入学之初，班主任和英语老师都应反复强调英语这一学科的重要性，让学生引起重视，才能为以后认真学习作好心理准备。

其次要纠正的一个观点是英语无用的观点。我们的老一辈是喊着：“学好数理化，走遍天下都不怕”;“我是中国人，不必学外文”的口号完成学业的。时至二十一世纪，虽然中国已改革开放多年，学英语之风已吹遍大江南北，但在我们这样的小地方，那些口号遗留下来的观点仍然存在。学生们仍然死抱数理化，对英语极其忽略。因为他们认为自己将来用不上英语的，既进不了外企，又成不了CEO，就更别说出国了。所以英语在毕业之后是基本无用的。殊不知，正是这一观点制约了他们的发展，如果他们学好了英语，其余各科也很优秀的话，他们是可以很好发展的，他们一定能走出小城，走向外面的大世界，实现他们更高的社会价值。所以老师应该讲道理，摆事实让学生明白学好英语的重要性。

二、背单词从科学方法入手，避免走弯路

很多初一新生按字母顺序背单词，有些老师也确实这么教的，比如自行车，bike,老师就领着学生念：B-I-K-E，bike。学生自然就学会了这样背单词，即使后来老师介绍了更科学的方法，学生却难改已经养成的习惯，这种方法就一直用到初三，乃至更高的年级。

初一单词量不算很多，本身课程比较轻松，有足够的时间，还能应付。到了高年级，单词量增加，课业加重。学生再也顾不上单词了，即使花了很多时间，单词还是记不住，这就影响了听说，阅读。成绩下降，兴趣降低，学习跟不上了，最终只好放弃学习英语。

老师应在学生开始学英语时就教学生科学背单词的方法，避免学生走弯路。我在了解了马承老师字母，音素，音标的三位一体教学法后，就教学生根据音标背单词。当对字母，音标熟悉到一定程度，只要会说那个单词，就基本上会拼写这个单词。看着生词也能准确的读出来，学生不必花大量时间在单词上。

老师还可以利用学生小学语文课上学的拼音，把汉语拼音和字母，音标建立适当的联系，有利于学生快速记住英语音标的读法和写法，能更快入门。

另外，有些学生一背单词，就翻到书后面的单词表，逐个记忆。其实这种单纯记忆单词是很容易遗忘的。我们老师应该引导学生多读课文，在课文中背单词。这样记下来的单词才能活用，也有利于培养学生的语感。

三、明确中英文化差异

任何一个民族都有其独特的文化和思维方式以及语言的构成方式。西方人的思维、习惯是有别于咱们中国人的，英语语言也是有别于汉语的。英语老师都明白这一点。但老师却没重视这种差异给学生学习带来的困惑。没有及时告诉学生这些差异，这就容易导致学生用中国人的思维方式去理解英语中的一些现象，而且百思不得其解。

我认为初一新生一入学就该明白这一点，学会接纳认同其他民族的文化，了解他们的思维方式，树立文化差异意识，避免用汉语套英语，用汉语的顺序说英语句子，用中国人的习惯去衡量西方人，造成很多考试中的失误和面对西方人时的尴尬。

Mike is bad at English. Yesterday, he had an English test. He failed again.

He dared not tell his mother the low marks. On his way home, it rained heavily.

So he got a good idea. Why not take the paper as an umbrella? He just put the

paper on his head and began to run home. When he arrived home, the paper was all

wet and almost torn to pieces by the rain. When his mother asked about the

marks, Mike showed the paper to his mother with an embarrassed smile.

Computer games is a hot topic nowadays. Some people hold that it is bad.

And others hold that it is good. In my view, whether good or bad is determined

If one plays computer game properly in his spare time, computer games can

I am very busy. I have too many rules in my house. I have to get up at six o’clock every morning. I must have my breakfast at 7:00 o’clock . I can’t meet my friends after school because I have to walk my dog.(.溜狗) I can’t watch TV on school nights. And I have to be in bed by 10:00 o’clock. On weekends, I have

Everyone should give his mother a present when his mother’s birthday is coming. It is 25th May Sunday. Today is Han Mei’s mother’s birthday. So she wanted to give her mother a special present. What present should she give? Maybe a bunch of flowers a birthday card are the best presents. A card is cheaper. But it is bad for trees. The more I buy cards, the more trees will be cut by people. It was five o’clock. It was time to surprise her mother. When Han Mei’s mother came home, Han Mei said Happy Birthday to her mother. Then she cleaned her mother’s feet. As you can see, her mother was very surprise.

上次，我的英语月考成绩低得可怜，因为我没复习阅读的部分。所以这次我决定一雪前耻。考试的前几天，我每天回到家，就打开书，不断的重复阅读那几段要考的故事，希望可以有好成绩。

终于等到了考试的这一天，我的神经不停的抽搐着，不时的绷着，我留了一身冷汗，看着老师发着考卷，我吞了口口水，看着考卷传了下来，我颤抖着双手，拿着考卷，笔拿了起来，那枝笔似乎比平常来得要重，我用那只沉重的笔，开始了这场令人神经紧绷的考试。

每写完一大题，我的情绪就越紧张，因为那阅读的部分在我写完一大题，就会离我越近。危机逼近，我的皮随着也紧了起来。我在心里不断的念念有词：“要来啦！要来啦！它要来啦！”但是当我望向时钟，心里疑惑着：“怪了！过了这么久，考卷也即将要写完了，怎么还不见噩梦来袭呢？”

“叮─当─叮─咚”，洪亮的钟声刚好响起，我即时写完了！但是我的天敌却始终没有出现，难道说这次月考没有“阅读”这一大题？看来我真是白紧张了！不过，往好的方面想，这次的考试简单多了，也就是说，拿满分的机率很高。我放下了心中的大石，心想着：“这就是塞翁失马，焉知非福”吧！

“哦，太棒了!”我情不自禁地跳跃着，终于可以独立了，家长不是常说我们的自理能力太差吗?这可是一个极可以表现自我的机会。

来到寝室，我胡乱地塞好了东西，重重地躺到床上，美滋滋地想到，这就是我以后的小窝了。当我得知我的好朋友睡在我的上铺时，我一蹦三尺高……那晚，我几乎没睡，是聊天聊了一晚吧。第二天一早，大约三、四点，我们和太阳公公比赛看谁起得早(去看日出)跳啊，蹦啊!也许这就是我们最快乐的时光了。
