完美的心

One day a young man was standing in the middle of the town proclaiming1) that he had the most beautiful heart in the whole valley. A large crowd gathered, and they all admired his heart for it was perfect. There was not a flaw2) in it.

Suddenly, an old man appeared and said, "Why3), your heart is not nearly as beautiful as mine!"

The crowd and the young man looked at the old mans heart. It was full of scars. It had places where pieces had been removed and other pieces put in, but they didnt fit quite right, and there were several jagged4) edges. In fact, in some places there were deep gouges5) where whole pieces were missing.

The young man laughed. "Comparing your heart with mine, mine is perfect and yours is a mess of scars."

"Yes," said the old man, "Yours looks perfect but I would never trade with you. You see, every scar represents a person to whom I have given my love. I tear out a piece of my heart and give it to them, and often they give me a piece of their heart that fits into the empty place in my heart.

"But because the pieces arent exact, I have some rough edges, which I cherish, because they remind me of the love we shared.

"Sometimes I have given pieces of my heart away, and the other person hasnt returned a piece of his or her heart to me. These are the empty gouges - giving love is taking a chance.

"Although these gouges are painful, they stay open, reminding me of the love I have for those people too, and I hope someday they may return and fill the space Ive been waiting. So now do you see what true beauty is"

The young man walked up to the old man, reached into his perfect heart, and ripped6) a piece out. He offered it to the old man.

The old man placed it in his heart, then took a piece from his old scarred heart and placed it in the wound in the young mans heart. It fit, but not perfectly, as there were some jagged edges.

8月6号燥热

听着JOLIN的歌曲，想着明天的军训，有点莫明的高兴。虽然在军训之前我已经询问过很多过来人，他们都告诉我很苦很苦，但我从他们甜蜜的表情中知道了他们的“虚伪”，也从他们都有的一句话中探出了究竟--虽然苦，但却值得一辈子去留恋。

是吗?军训真的那么美好吗?我觉得自己还是有点不信，虽说现在心中很期待，但我知道是好奇心胜过内心许多奇怪的想法，又或者是想证明师兄师姐们说的对不对，总之，一系列想法充满了自己的脑子。也许，又或者，这还不是自己最真实的想法。唉，听着JOLIN那么美好的歌《说爱你》我真的想不出心中为什么还有这么些奇形怪状的想法。

不过，说真的，这次军训又好“特别”，因为根本没有住宿，只能站在操场上对着酷热的太阳熬着我们无聊的N个训练，也许不会有打靶，不会有夜行军--肯定没有!感觉又好无聊。

这两天似乎没那么热了，但要是明天很热怎么办?对啊，那不把我烤化了?!这个暑假已经把我晒得跟古天乐没什么两样了，要再黑点只不上要让包公再世了!一想起这个头就大，而且就算不怕黑也不能那么晒啊，又不是烤猪油!(嘟起嘴巴)

my secret worry

while fear of death is universal, my worry about death is so overwhelming that there is not a moment passing without my thinking of it. i never bring this up with any other, just because no one will ever realize the seriousness of this problem. i know it very clearly that as long as there is life, there will be death. in addition, though i am still so far away from death, i have been plagued by the thought of it for years. fortunately, the root of my fear of death lies in my overzealous love for life. i am too timid to think of the end of life, when every worldly affair should be thrown away. how can i carry on without friendship, affection, and joy of being alive? i really hate to leave all these behind. to ease my worry about death, i should make the fullest use of this life i now possess. concentration on this life can at least temporally make me forget about death. as a matter of fact, i really don＇t need to worry so much about death, for i already have too much to worry about this life.

Childhood is often regarded as a memorable and beautiful period of ones life and I passed it happily as a grade-school student. My grade school days were really carefree ones. I got along well with my classmates and On holidays we strolled along the street visited the park and shared one another s candies The teacher of our class was a patient woman who took pains to teach us how to behave and often accompanied us to play games after class—games which were enlivened by songs prattle and laughters. 认真的看看我们的教官，看看这一位位在军营这座熔炉经过锤炼的人们，你能从他们的眼中看到刚毅、自信与成熟，是什么让他们拥有了卓然不群的气质呢?答案很简单，是军训!是简单的队列训练，是一次次立正稍息，整齐报数。老子说：“治大国若烹小鲜。”讲的是大到治国平天下，小到修身养性，都要注意细节，如果把炼就军人气质比喻成一道工序，而齐步、踏步、跑步就是这道工序中的一道道环节，只有一丝不苟，细致入微的付出，才能创造出像海尔那样经得起时间检查的品牌，反之，则会功亏一篑，正所谓：“千里之堤，溃于蚁穴。” 。 。

以往的军训都是在和教官们嘻嘻哈哈、打闹中度过的，所以高中的这次军训的一开始我是抱着玩和嬉戏的心态去的，然而那披着狼皮的羊——魔鬼训练营正狞笑着悄然地打开了它的大门，等待我的是——一段难以忘记的经历……

当我进入军训时住的宿舍，捏着鼻子，皱着眉头带着抗拒地穿上那套明显没有洗过的、一直散发着臭味的军服时，在台下听着教官训话、接受惩罚时，我才意识到军训真的开始啦了……

刚开始时，天公不作美，来的时候还风高气爽的，转眼间就变成烈日当空，我们都不禁苦笑着埋怨起老天。埋怨归埋怨，高中部的我们毕竟也经历过了，所以还是站着军姿耸立在草地上。可初一的小孩纸可能没有受过军训，所以渐渐开始乱了、吵闹起来。上面那教官开始大喊“安静”可初一的童鞋根本不当一回事，依然我行我素，继续讲话。凭着多年的经验，我知道这回初一的死定了。果然上面那大叔语气越来越不耐烦，怒喊：“都给我蹲下，伸直你们的手!”“草，我们都要!”我不禁满头黑线，咒骂道，“神坑啊!!”我旁边的伙伴苦笑着小声的说道：“忍忍吧!是这样的了。”我无奈地摇摇头，委屈的伸直了双手。时间一分一秒地过去，那毒辣的太阳也越来越猛，而我头上的汗水也一滴一滴的滴落下来，有的滑过我的鼻梁，有的从我的脸颊旁滑下，更有甚者竟然进入我的眼睛，那滋味，惨啊~更可怕的是我的手随着时间的流逝开始变的麻痹、酸痛。我那时终于开始觉得这军训和平时的不同了，这不是来玩的，是接受训练的。听着那大叔在上面滔滔不绝，以致水花四溅是，说真的，当时我真有种冲上去跟他拼命的冲动。那大叔从口袋中掏出手机，看了看，仿佛思考了一下，应该考虑到有的同学还是第一次，不能太过分了，再加上吃饭时间也到了，他终于下了放手的命令，我们立马放下双手，可初一的孩纸或许尚未吃过这样的苦，且不懂看教官的脸色，立刻松懈了下来，又讲起话来，上面那位应该又不爽了，又大喊“举起双手”，我想骂人了但又不得不举起双手，挺直地站在草地。痛苦啊。
