The 15-Day Celebration of Chinese New Year

The first day of the Lunar New Year is the welcoming of the gods of the heavens and earth.Many people abstain from meat on the first day of the new year because it is believed that this will ensure long and happy lives for them.

On the second day, the Chinese pray to their ancestors as well as to all the gods. They are extra kind to dogs and feed them well as it is believed that the second day is the birthday of all dogs.

On the eighth day the Fujian people have another family reunion dinner, and at midnight they pray to Tian Gong, the God of Heaven.

The ninth day is to make offerings to the Jade Emperor.

The 10th through the 12th are days that friends and relatives should be invited for dinner. After so much rich food, on the 13th day you should have simple rice congee and mustard greens (choi sum) to cleanse the system.

The 14th day should be for preparations to celebrate the Lantern Festival which is to be held on the 15th night.

Last Sunday, I went sightseeing with my friends in the Fairy Lake Park. I was appreciating the beautiful lake when a scene that didn’t go with its harmony came into my eyes. A couple were cheering loudly on a boat, letting out the noise disturbing all the visitors around. The importance of English rests with the language being used in most countries in the world as a communicating tool. Do you know Harry Potter? If you dont, then you are out of date. Many people love Harry Potter, whether children or adults. I love Harry Potter, too. Last week, I went to Nantong to see the movie "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire".

It was a wonderful movie. In the movie, Harry is the same age as us and he is more handsome than me. Harrys best friends are Hermione and Ron. The movie tells the story of Harrys Fourth Year at Hogwarts. The Goblet of Five selects him to compete as one of four champions in the Throwizard Tournament, despite the fact that he didnt submit his name. The Tournament is very dangerous so his friends are all worried about him. Hermione and Ron try their best to help Harry to prepare for each task. I think their friendship is unbreakable. 七天的军训生活，我尝遍了酸甜苦辣。在这短短的七天里，我懂得了军训的真正意义，知道了华附为何一定要每届新生进行军训，更深深地了解了“吃得苦中苦，方为华附人。”的含义。

在七天的军训生活中，每天我们都必须接受七到八个小时的军事训练，还要自己打扫宿舍，自己洗衣服……这对于许多在家里是“小皇帝”的同学来说，无疑不是一种艰苦考验。

就在军训的第一天，教官就先给我门来了个下马威——站军姿三十分钟。虽说只是三十分钟，但在烈日当空下，同学们都一个个地倒下了。还好，教官们也是会体贴的把身体不好的同学扶到树阴下，并为他们抹汗。可是，当教官们转过头来，看见有同学动的话，那就惨了，动的同学再加十分钟。啊!军令如山，大家只好服从。

当然，教官们也是会说笑的。当大家休息时，教官就会教我们唱军歌，还与我们聊聊部队的生活。每当我听到他们讲部队生活时，我都会感到敬佩。原来，教官们比我们年龄大不了多少，也就大一两岁，可是，他们的生活和我们可是天壤之别。而且，他们都很后悔当初没读好书，所以，他们没天白天就进行训练，而晚上则打着手电筒看书。听到这些，我的眼眶都有点湿润了。我不能想象他们是怎么熬过来的，比起教官们，我不禁有些惭愧了。是啊，如果我们有这么好的学习环境和生活环境而不努力读书，该是多么对不起父母和家长啊!我也知道了华附坚持每年军训的真正意义。

在训练中，让我感受最深的要数拉练了。拉练，也是华附每年军训的一个必须的项目。要求我们从附中跑步到华师大。再回到附中，全程大约一个小时。而规矩就是：每个班必须要全部同学回到附中才算赢，也就是说一场团体战。这是附中为了锻炼我们的集体凝聚力而开展的。一开始，大家都兴致勃勃地跑出校门，没有一点累的感觉。但是到了中途，不少同学都泄气了，还有几个同学受伤了。这就难办了。可是，尽管同学们只认识了不到三天时间，大家还是左右扶搀，帮助有困难的同学。集体的力量是多么伟大啊!大家好像早已不把名次和荣誉放在眼里，只要大家都平安就很满足了。

成为高中生的我,第一次住校,原先还以为住校是多么的复杂,但是遇到了很好的舍友,搞笑的同学,但是还是回顾虑自己是否可以做到很好.

其实军训也并非是常人心目中的魔鬼训练、灰色的咏叹调。紧张忙碌的军训之余，我们一同感受军歌的嘹亮，尤其是其恢弘豪迈的气势，拉歌时大家围坐一团的亲热劲儿以及互相争论的不服输劲儿。而这些都是我们平日中未曾感受到的。大家齐声喊出了当兵人的心声，并与之不可遏制地引起了强烈的共鸣。所有这些都是我们人生道路中难得一次的奇遇，定会铭刻于心。

白驹过隙般的，时光像一条潺潺流淌的小河。仿佛一眨眼的工夫，军训生活的句号就来到了眼皮底下。回首丰富多姿的军训生活，我更多的还是感慨——“忆往昔，数风流人物，还在今朝。”
