I have a good friend, we met each other when I was five years old. She is

my neighbor and the first time I saw her, she smiled at me. It was her smile

that made me feel she was a nice person to get along with. Indeed, she was a

reliable friend. When I was in trouble, she would be the first person to give me

a hand. Once I lost my key, when she heard, she tried hard to help me remember

One day, LiHua went to school by bus as usual. when he was ready to get on the bus,he saw a thief stealing a womans wallet,and there is a knife in his hand. Ten years ago, there were many narrow streets.But now many streets have been widened. So buses and cars can go more quickly than before. To our joy, we have two underground lines and many more are being built. We seldom find traffic jam in rush hours. So we dont have to worry about going out. Since we go to school, we are taught that no pain, no gain, it means that

if people want to be successful, they must work hard. But the truth is that not

everyone can get what they want, even they work hard so much, but if working

hard does not bring success, why should they still need to work hard. In my

opinion, working hard doesn’t mean the person can success certainly, success

needs more factors, like the time, the luck and other things. There is no doubt

Since I was a little child, I was taught that dont give up forever. My

mother told me that teaching me how to walk was a tough task. When I just

learned how to walked, I fell down frequently, but she or my father never helped

me to stand up, because they wanted me to stand up by myself. After fell down

Mooncakes are rich, heavy, and dense compared with most Western cakes and pastries. They are usually eaten in small wedges accompanied by Chinese tea.

The Spring Festival is one of the most important and traditional festivals in China.Our familiy members gather to celebrate the festival.We eat dumplings,were new clothes,playing firecrackers and send a greeting to frends and so on.Parents will give there children money for the new year coming.

Li Yan, an engineer, was born on February 9, 1965 in Beijing, China. After

he graduated from Qinghua University in 1987, he made an important decision in
