我们大一的时候有一门必修课叫《机械制图》——主要内容是在图纸上画螺丝．我们是电子系的画这个干吗啊?的确，那学期之后我们再也没有接触过相关内容。我们好多同学当时非常不满，我们的系主任为了平息怒气给我们讲了一个故事，他曾经带过一个大四的本科生做毕业设计(16周)，他给这个学生的课题是给一台新型计算机编写应用程序。这台计算机结构既不是冯-诺依曼体系也不是哈佛体系。它用到的计算机语言完全不合常规。第一周老师先给这位同学一本相关的书让他弄懂。经过一周的努力，弄明白了。第二周到第八周都是这样。第九周到第十五周开始编程。最后一周写论文。这位同学顺利的完成了任务。毕业的时候，导师问他：“你这次毕业设计用到了大学四年的哪门课程啊?微积分?”“没有。”“线性代数?”“没有”。“C语言?”“没有。”“微机原理?”“也没有??顶多用到了英语，因为编程是用英语编的。”“那你大学四年都干什么了?你所学的所有的课程都没用啊。”这位同学傻了。但是老师又问：“如果你是一个高中刚毕业的学生，你能16周完成这个课题吗?”“显然不可能”“这就对了，你大学四年学到的是学习知识的能力，四年前我给你的每一本书你都要学一个学期，但是你现在一个星期就完全吃透了。”

不喜欢政治、历史和地理，因为这几科高考不考，并且可能我一辈子也用不上。可能也有同学讨厌物理、化学和数学吧?还有的同学只喜欢某一科，不去好好学其它的主科。但是“白痴”教育部为什么要让我们学这些我们一辈予都可能用不到的东西呢?这么说不夸张，我在高中学的最好的就是化学和生物，但是在清华学了三年电子我们完全没有用到这两科，有理由相信我这辈子都不会再配平一个化学方程式了，用好多人的话说这两科就是高考的敲门砖。我当时弄不明白我们为什么需要学习这些课程，相信我们在座的好多人也不明白吧。我给大家说了下面的例子大家就应该明白了。

我们大一的时候有一门必修课叫《机械制图》——主要内容是在图纸上画螺丝．我们是电子系的画这个干吗啊?的确，那学期之后我们再也没有接触过相关内容。我们好多同学当时非常不满，我们的系主任为了平息怒气给我们讲了一个故事，他曾经带过一个大四的本科生做毕业设计(16周)，他给这个学生的课题是给一台新型计算机编写应用程序。这台计算机结构既不是冯-诺依曼体系也不是哈佛体系。它用到的计算机语言完全不合常规。第一周老师先给这位同学一本相关的书让他弄懂。经过一周的努力，弄明白了。第二周到第八周都是这样。第九周到第十五周开始编程。最后一周写论文。这位同学顺利的完成了任务。毕业的时候，导师问他：“你这次毕业设计用到了大学四年的哪门课程啊?微积分?”“没有。”“线性代数?”“没有”。“C语言?”“没有。”“微机原理?”“也没有??顶多用到了英语，因为编程是用英语编的。”“那你大学四年都干什么了?你所学的所有的课程都没用啊。”这位同学傻了。但是老师又问：“如果你是一个高中刚毕业的学生，你能16周完成这个课题吗?”“显然不可能”“这就对了，你大学四年学到的是学习知识的能力，四年前我给你的每一本书你都要学一个学期，但是你现在一个星期就完全吃透了。”

这个故事给了我很多的启发，我们现在学习的知识可能以后永远都用不到，但是你在学习各种不同的科目时总结的各种各样的学习方法、思维视角等都会伴随你一生。在你遇到新问题的时候，你可以利用以前的经验很快总结出解决新问题的方法。所以，我现在负责任地告诉大家：千万不要偏科，任何科目对你都是至关重要的。

(二)永远不要说你已经尽力了

有的同学觉得自己已经很努力了，可是就是没有办法把成绩再提高一点。他自己安慰自己“我已经尽力了”。我记得电影《勇闯夺命岛》有这样一句台词：“永远不要说你已经尽力了，只有胜利者才能赢得赞美皇后的芳心!”我个人觉得，当你还有力气说出“我已经尽力了”的时候，你根本就没有尽到力。我觉得人的潜力是无限的。举一个我自己的例子，大家看看人的潜力有多大。

我在高中时体育特别差，跑1000米都很要命，从来都是不及格。相信在座的好多同学也对这项体育达标深恶痛绝。到了清华之后，第一节体育课，老师告诉我们体育好是清华的传统，我们每年要测3000米长跑，跑不过不许毕业，取消推研资格。怎么办?谁来到清华都不想拿不到毕业证吧，我的同学大部分和我一样体育很差。于是每天晚上10：30，我们的自习教室关门后，清华的操场上人就多起来了。跑半个小时再回寝室继续学习。练了一个学期，我瘦了40斤，最后考试的时候我仅用了12分56秒就跑下了3000米，我们班最胖的人也在15分钟以内跑完了。想起我高中向体育老师抱怨：“我已经尽力了，1000米就是不及格。”现在觉得很搞笑。清华的校训中这个“自强不息”我觉得给我的影响非常大。当你觉得自己已经尽力的时候，往往再坚持一下就会突破自己的极限，唤

醒自己的潜力。思维科学研究表明，人的大脑可以把全世界图书馆藏书的信息都装进去，然而人类思维至今才仅仅开发出百分之七到八。所以在这里我希望同学们一定要努力努力再努力，永远不要说自己己经尽力了。什么叫成功?人们死活不相信你能做到的事情，你做到了，这就叫成功。

（三）怎么学好高中课程

接着上一个问题，永远不要说自己已经尽力了，那么我们应该怎么努力呢?我在高中听过不少关于学习方法的报告，也很多次给别人介绍自己的学习方法。但是直到大二我才真正明白怎样才能把知识学好。

大二我们上一门课叫《模拟电子线路》，特别难。我们的老师——高文焕院士告诉我们一句话：“学习模拟电子线路和学习其它学科有一个共同的窍门四个字——题海战术”，我当时非常费解，从小到大老师都说要讲方法，不要死做题，怎么院士这么说呢？之后几件事我明白了这八个大字的含义。

我们班有一个山东的省高考状元，得了713分(750满分)，我问他，你到底是怎么学成这么“牛”的。他说：我高中的时候只要市场上能买到的习题集我都做过。

如果大家觉得省状元离我们太远的话，我再举一个河南省高考第76名的同学的例子，看看他是怎样做题的；他的智商不会比在座各位高的，因为他在清华电子系学习非常吃力。他说他高考6个主科的题典他至少做了五遍。

所以我觉得高文焕院士还是对的，题海战术绝对是学好高中课程的好方法。我自己也有体会，比如我高三时英语的短文改错总做不好，于是一个周末，我连续做了50篇改错，之后的英语考试短文改错几乎没有错过。大家可能觉得大学生就很少做题了，我不知道其它大学的情况，但我可以毫不夸张的说，我在清华每年做的题肯定比我高三的时候做得多。

现在同学们一定会说，想题海战很容易啊，但是哪有时间啊?这就引出我下面的问题。

(四)怎样挤时间

下面，我告诉大家我在清华了解到的一个湖北同学的高中是怎样度过的：他在一个县城的重点高中，他们学校全体学生住校，每年春节时放假三天，其余每个月放假半天。一年一共放假9天。我想我们中学还不敢这么变态，但是那些湖北的学生真的是比我们少浪费了太多的时间了，这也导致了他们的基础比我们要好得多．也导致了清华宁可在湖北扩招30人也不在河北扩招一个。回想我的高中，我现在非常后悔，如果当时我像那些南方的同学那么抓紧时间，我高考绝对会拿省状元。同学们，我们已经不是小孩子了，我们身上责任很重，如果我们还是把好多时间都用来娱乐和休息，当我们进入大学、走向社会的时候，就会感到那些南方省市来的人对你的巨大压力。

那么我们怎么挤时问呢?

首先，我个人觉得在座各位的走路速度太慢，我看到的是大家有说有笑踱着步子慢慢走。大家如果到了清华可以看到，所有的学生骑车都是飞车，走路几乎都是小跑。我们没有必要把时间浪费在这些没有意义的事情上。你很快从校门走进教室就可以比别人多看一会书，多做一道题。时间久了，日积月累，你就会在时间上占有绝对的优势

其次，我们的课间十分钟也非常宝贵，这一点我到了高三下学期才意识到，充分利用课间十分钟，我们一天可以挤出将近两个小时，可以比别人多做一套题。再有就是我们最好别看电视了。我在高中的时候每天必须看电视，当时主要是因

为要面子，看了体育比赛、晚间新闻去和别人侃，看了电视剧去和别人吹。整天装出一副不太用功但成绩不错的样子，归根结底还是希望别人说自己聪明。我现在的观点是被人说“他聪明但就是不学习”的人是最蠢的人。不管你是否真的智商超群，但是如果我们把太多的精力用在那些与自己前途无关的事情上，就是对自己的最大的不负责任。我现在在清华的好多同学都是在高中期间没看过一眼电视——包括春节晚会，有的同学甚至从初中开始都没看过电视。现在在学校，我们每个寝室都有电视。但是我们寝室的电视几乎就没开过。期末考试之后都没人看一场欧洲杯。大家考试后没有休息放松，所有的人都是准备下学期的课程，准备托福GRE考试，或者是学一些实用的技术。所有人脑子里想的都是利用别人休息的时间来充实自己，使自己在今后的竞争中占据优势地位。

同学们不要把清华的学生想得太牛了，清华学生中智商超群的人至多占学生总数的四分之一。其他学生的智商不会比在座的各位高到哪里去，他们比你们多的东西我觉得只是对待自己未来的态度。清华学生身上有一种非常令人敬畏的精神力量。他们可以为了自己的目标放弃任何诱惑，就算在大年三十清华的自习教室也会人满为患。用一位美国教授的话说：“StudentsofQinghua，noSatumay，noSunday，noholiday!”(清华的学生，没有星期六，没有星期日，没有节假日)，就是这种精神铸就了清华的神话，不这样就很难考上清华。

有的同学可能会说：你说的很对，但是我们很难让自己坚持下去，最多三分钟热度。之后就不想再努力了，好的，我们下面就讨论怎样让自己的血一直热下去。

(五)给自己找压力

我和清华大学精密仪器系的教授许纪敏先生有一次聊天的时候说：“我觉得电子系的学生压力太大了。”许教授说：“清华的人才是怎么培养出来的?就是压出来的!”不错，巨大的压力才会有巨人的动力。有的同学说：“高中学生的压力已经太大了”。我现在觉得，我们当时在高中时的压力太小了。说实话，清华的学生有的也不是那么喜欢学习的，比如我就有点厌学。但是清华的要求极为严格，四年之间只要一科不及格就取消推研资格，三科不及格就退学了。所以清华有的系的淘汰率是30％。太可怕了，所以我们都要疯狂地学习。

比我们还恶心的还有美国的MIT，我大一的辅导员现在在MIT读书。他给我发的Email说他上学的第一节课，教授向他们宣布考核要求：“上我的课，最后的成绩是一个A，两个B，一半C，一半D”。就是说有一半的人将会不及格。MIT的淘汰率比清华还高．这也是为什么MIT的学生只要是拿到毕业证会被各大跨国公司高薪聘请的原因。

我再给大家举几个例子，可以说明在巨大的压力之下人可以做多么不可思议的事情。

大二的时候，我们有一个夏季小学期共两周。第一周周一上午，我们在一间教室上了两个小时课，学了计算机的VHDL语言。下课老师要求我们在周五之前编出一个主频30M的opu来。所有的人都疯了，因为上午根本就不知道他在说什么。后来我们知道，在其它大学的电子系这门课要学一个学期的。但是老师说得很清楚了，做不出来就不及格。于是大家就疯狂的跑到图书馆借书，回去废寝忘食的看，第一天看不懂，第二天稍有点明白，第三天白天编了几个简单的程序，晚上开始正式编程，编到三点，周四编了二天加一个通宵，周五早上8点通过了验收。大家松了一口气。但是接着第二周周一早上，老师告诉我们周三下午交一个超声波测距仪。又是疯狂的两个通宵，周三下午把超声波测距仪交上去了。

在此之前，我们根本没有想到我们还可以在这么短的时间里做这么多事，但是在巨大的压力之下我们完成了。

还有一个例子，我们大一的英语课，要求我们一周背下500个单词。我觉得这是不可能的，第一次考试我只得了43分。没有办法，以后每天早上我5点起床，背单词到7点再去上课，最后还是能背下来的。所以在巨大的压力之下我们的确可以发挥出巨大的潜力。

在这里，我给各位一个建议，就是尽可能的给自己找一些压力，比如说规定自己一个星期之内必须做500道题，考试不得140分以上就算自己不及格等等。大家不要觉得这些很过分。如果各位真的发誓要考上一流的大学，我觉得这是我们必须做的，并且现在的南方高中生就是这么干的

（六）情感问题

在高中阶段我们还必须面对的就是情感问题：相信班主任老师和校长也不止一次和大家提过这件事，三令五申不许谈恋爱。我个人觉得，我们在高中阶段的这种感情是非常美好的；我高中的时候就非常喜欢和漂亮的女生坐同桌，也喜欢打篮球的时候听全班女生的尖叫。在体育课打篮球的时候如果边上有女生观战，我肯定会拼命作出几个漂亮的动作。如果老师把那些我比较喜欢的女生调到我的座位附近，我肯定会非常注意个人形象，说话也不会那么粗鲁了，那种感觉还是很甜蜜的：主要是学习压力不容分心，还有我觉得高中时候谈恋爱太麻烦了，给大家说说我高中时候那些谈恋爱的同学的处境吧——首先你得偷偷摸摸的，不能被老师和家长知道了。但是一定会被发现的，接着又是一次又一次的被找去谈话。最后尽顾着烦了，什么甜蜜的感觉都没有了。考上了大学之后天南地北就都分手了。我自己还没听说有什么成功的案例。

就算是上了大学，清华的情侣们到了大四也是基本都分手了，所以我们好多大学的同学觉得与其费心劳神的找个女朋友还不如安心的好好学习，于是清华就有了本科僧、研究僧的说法，正是这些过着苦行僧生活的学生使得清华的学风在世界上都有口皆碑。我们这个年龄多学一点安身立命的本事比寻求那些短暂的甜蜜要有意义得多。我给大家的建议是，我们不妨做三年高中僧，千万不要到了最后发现自己浪费了太多的时间和精力而自责和苦恼。

(七)不要抱怨老师不好

当我们某一科的成绩不理想的时候，不要抱怨我们的老师。我可以毫不夸张地说，咱们高中的老师都是非常不错的，至少都是非常负责、敬业的。我和大家说说我在清华的经历大家就明白了。清华的老师做研究都是大牛，但是几乎没有老师好好给本科生上课。有一次上微机原理课，老师说，今天回去用Protel把课上的电路模拟一下。同学们都说，我们这辈子第一次听说这个软件。老师说：“这是电子工程人员必备的软件”，转身就走了。没办法，我们回去在图书馆熬了三天终于把这个软件学会了。还有一次数学课，老师让我们回去用MATLAB画一个三维的图形。同学们都说没学过。这好像是数学系的一门必修课，老师只说了一句：“没学过?回去学呀!”我们又是在图书馆耗了好几天，基本弄明白了。我们现在用的好多计算机工具，老师们都默认为我们已经完全掌握了，没有人教你怎么办，不过现在的你们好多了还可以报个辅导班找老师辅导一下，但是那时我们不会倒是不正常的了。所以，我们的同学当你觉得有哪一科学得不太好，一定不要埋怨客观条件，自己的努力才是成功的基石。当你总是抱怨客观条件的时候，成功也离你越来越远了。

(八)好的身体是一切的本钱

这里面我最喜欢的人物就孙悟空了，第一我喜欢他的七十二变，在和怪兽打斗的时候常常会变成小房子、小蚊子之类的东西，让怪兽防不胜防。每次遇难都是孙悟空想出办法，救出师傅师弟。这说明孙悟空很聪明，遇事多动脑筋。这和我们生活一样，打不过别人就要智取。

第二我佩服孙悟空有一双火眼金睛和刀枪不入的身体，和怪兽打拼时，它们都被孙悟空打的落花流水，双眼直冒金星，可孙悟空却毫发无损。你看那个白骨精伪装得多像呀!猪八戒与唐僧都被骗了，只是孙悟空就是不上当。这也说明了孙悟空的火眼金睛有多么厉害。在现实生活中，也会有好多这样的“白骨精”需要我们分辨清楚，我要是有一对就火眼金睛就好了，这样我就能辨别美与丑、善与恶、是与非了。

第三我同情孙悟空，他特别能吃屈。因为每次都是师傅辨别不了是妖还是人，冤枉他，就会念紧箍咒，让孙悟空疼得死去活来、头疼欲裂，痛得直撞墙。就是这样对了还要受紧箍咒的气，但孙悟空依然忍着痛，打败敌人，保护师傅。我觉得孙悟空受了这么多委屈，可师傅还是误会了孙悟空，没有理解孙悟空的好意。真是，狗咬吕洞宾，不识好人心。孙悟空还是对师傅全心全意，宁可自己付出生命也要保护师傅。

The new term is coming. I am so excited because in the new term, I will be

a Grade 8 student. In the new term, I will have some new teachers. As for me, I

want to make a difference in the new term, so I have made a plan for it.First,

my Chinese and English are the best and I will work hard to keep them good as

usual. But my math and physics are not as good as Chinese and English.

Therefore, I have to try my best to improve them. Except preview and finishing

homework, I have to review regularly to strengthen knowledge. Second, I will pay

There were three of them. There were four of us, and April lay on the campsite and on the river, a mixture of dawn at a damp extreme and the sun in the leaves at cajole. This was Deer Lodge on the Pine River in Ossipee, New Hampshire, though the lodge was naught but a foundation remnant in the earth. We had pitched camp in the near darkness, Ed LeBlanc, Brother Bentley, Walter Ruszkowski, myself. A dozen or more years we had been here, and seen no one. Now, into our campsite deep in the forest, so deep that at times we had to rebuild sections of narrow road (more a loggers path) flushed out by earlier rains, deep enough where we thought wed again have no traffic, came a growling engine, an old solid body van, a Chevy, the kind I had driven for Frankie Pike and the Lobster Pound in Lynn delivering lobsters throughout the Merrimack Valley. It had pre-WW II high fenders, a faded black paint on a body youd swear had been hammered out of corrugated steel, and an engine that made sounds too angry and too early for the start of day. Two elderly men, we supposed in their seventies, sat the front seat; felt hats at the slouch and decorated with an assortment of tied flies like a miniature bandoleer of ammunition on the band. They could have been conscripts for Emilano Zappata, so loaded their hats and their vests as they climbed out of the truck.

"Mornin, been yet?" one of them said as he pulled his boots up from the folds at his knees, the tops of them as wide as a big mouth bass coming up from the bottom for a frog sitting on a lily pad. His hands were large, the fingers long and I could picture them in a shop barn working a primal plane across the face of a maple board. Custom-made, old elegance, those hands said.

"Barely had coffee," Ed LeBlanc said, the most vocal of the four of us, quickest at friendship, at shaking hands. "Weve got a whole pot almost. Have what you want." The pot was pointed out sitting on a hunk of grill across the stones of our fire, flames licking lightly at its sides. The pot appeared as if it had been at war, a number of dents scarred it, the handle had evidently been replaced, and if not adjusted against a small rock it would have fallen over for sure. Once, a half-hour on the road heading north, noting it missing, wed gone back to get it. When we fished the Pine River, coffee was the glue, the morning glue, the late evening glue, even though wed often unearth our beer from a natural cooler in early evening. Coffee, camp coffee, has a ritual. It is thick, it is dark, it is potboiled over a squaw-pine fire, it is strong, it is enough to wake the demon in you, stoke last evenings cheese and pepperoni. First man up makes the fire, second man the coffee; but into that pot has to go fresh eggshells to hold the grounds down, give coffee a taste of history, a sense of place. That means at least one egg be cracked open for its shells, usually in the shadows and glimmers of false dawn. I suspect thats where "scrambled eggs" originated, from some camp like ours, settlers rushing west, lumberjacks hungry, hoboes lobbying for breakfast. So, camp coffee has made its way into poems, gatherings, memories, a time and thing not letting go, not being manhandled, not being cast aside.

An accident took the life of the child only a short time later. It is told that the father kept that little gold box by his bed for all the years of his life. Whenever he was discouraged or faced difficult problems he would open the box, take out an imaginary kiss, and remember the love of this beautiful child who had put it there.

In a very real sense, each of us as human beings have been given an invisible golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, family, friends and God.

There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

But in memoir after memoir, celebrities reveal the unhappiness hidden beneath all their fun: depression, alcoholism, drug addiction, broken marriages, troubled children, profound loneliness.

The way people cling to the belief that a fun-filled, pain-free life equates happiness actually diminishes their chances of ever attaining real happiness. If fun and pleasure are equated with happiness, then pain must be equated with unhappiness. But, in fact, the opposite is true: More times than not, things that lead to happiness involve some pain.

As a result, many people avoid the very endeavors that are the source of true happiness. They fear the pain inevitably brought by such things as marriage, raising children, professional achievement, religious commitment, civic or charitable work, and self-improvement.

Days and weeks passed. One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone. Slowly and painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the world outside. Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it for himself. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."

When he arrived at his fathers house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search through his fathers important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago.

With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. As he was reading, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealers name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words… "PAID IN FULL".

How many times do we miss blessings because they are not packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed this. Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for. Sometimes we dont realize the good fortune we have or we could have because we expect "the packaging" to be different. What may appear as bad fortune may in fact be the door that is just waiting to be opened.

"Very soon, death is coming," he cried, with tears streaming down his face. Over and over. But there was no one there to hear him.

Then one day the mother eagle appeared at the top of the mountain cliff, with a big bowl of delicious food and she looked down at her baby. The baby looked up at the mother and cried "Why did you abandon me? Im going to die any minute. How could you do this to me?"

The mother said, "Here is some very tasty and nourishing food, all you have to do is come get it."

"Come get it!" said the baby, with much anger. "How?"

The mother flew away.

The baby cried and cried and cried.

A few days later, "Im going to end it all," he said. "I give up. It is time for me to die."

He didnt know his mother was nearby. She swooped down to the nest with his last meal.

"Eat this, its your last meal," she said.

The baby cried, but he ate and whined and whined about what a bad mother she was.

"Youre a terrible mother," he said. Then she pushed him out of the nest.

He fell.

Head first.

Picked up speed.

Faster and faster.

He screamed. "Im dying Im dying," he cried. He picked up more speed.

He looked up at his mother. "How could you do this to me?"

He looked down.

The ground rushed closer, faster and faster. He could visualize his own death so clearly, coming so soon, and cried and whined and complained. "This isnt fair!" he screamed.

Something strange happens.

The air caught behind his arms and they snapped away from his body, with a feeling unlike anything he had ever experienced. He looked down and saw the sky. He wasnt moving towards the ground anymore, his eyes were pointed up at the sun.

"Huh?" he said. "What is going on here!"

"Youre flying," his mother said.

"This is fun!" laughed the baby eagle, as he soared and ped and swooped.

"Yes it is!" said the mother.

书中写唐僧师徒经历了九九八十一个磨难，又让我联想到了他们的执着、不畏艰险、锲而不舍的精神。这着实是一种值得我们学习的精神。再想想自己有时在学习上的半途而废、虎头蛇尾，我不禁惭愧自己当初为何不能像他们一样坚持到底呢?也许这就是我所缺少的，所以我也要把每件事从头做到尾，不管是成功还是失败，只要我尽力去做了，这对我来说不也是一种成功吗!

My happy Spring Festival After the New Year’s Eve dinner with my family, we began to sit down in front of the TV, and enjoyed 2008 CCTV Spring Festival gala. At about ten o’clock, the black sky was lightened by lots of fireworks with colorful light and happy sound. We stop watching the CCTV 2008 CCTV Spring Festival gala, and began to climb up the balcony to see the beautiful fireworks view, and my father took some fireworks up, and we also began to play fireworks. What a beautiful night. Later, my cell phone was ringing all the time. I received lots of short messages from my friends and classmates. They all blessed me happy New Year. I gave same bless to them by sending back the happy words. At almost 12 pm, I made a wish in New Year, and began to sleep.

When I woke up in the first day of New Year, my father and mother gave two red packets to me, and blessed me that everything will go well on me. I thanked them, and accepted the red packets happily. I have been waiting for the day that I can get lots of red packets. This is my happiest time of the year. After lunch, both my family went to the park, the streets, and the shops or supermarkets. We took many photos in the park, and bought many things in the shops or supermarket.

I met my uncles and aunts, they all blessed us happy New Year and gave me red packets. I was too happy to count how many red packets I got. The following days, we visited my grandparents and some of relatives. We happily talk with them, and brought some presents to them, and also received some New Year presents. This was how did I spend my Spring Festival; I really enjoyed myself in Spring Festival.

It is well-known that smoke is bad for our health. But there are still many

people addicted to it and find it hard to quit. It is a problem make many people

confused. For this, I have some suggestions. Firstly, you have to aware the

disadvantages of smoke. If you don’t aware this, you won’t have the mind to do

it. Then what you need is a strong mind. There is a saying,” Nothing in the

world is difficult for one who sets his mind on it.” So, a strong mind is

important.

What’s more, I have warm tips. If you really want to smoke, you can

have a chew gum instead of smoke. After a while, your desire to smoke will be

fade away gradually. Last, give yourself some awards. When you find yourself

make some progress, you can give yourself some awards. It is good. Hope you can

give up smoke successfully.

Im Li Hua After the discussion we found that 70% of the students think they should take all kinds of exercise every day but not spend too much time. They think exercise builds body and can keep them healthy. Sports also let them have a good rest so that their study will be more effective.

On the other hand 30% students believe taking exercise is tiring and its a waste of time. They say that after having sports they are too excited for a long time to focus on their lessons. And its possible to be hurt while doing sports.

Nowadays mobile phones are becoming more and more popular among the middle school students. Some think it is good for students to bring a mobile phone. But some people do not think so. They think it is bad for students to bring a mobile phone. Because the students will use mobile phones to play games， sent text messages， watch movies， etc which will do harm to their study.
