On weekends, I usually spend a whole afternoon reading in the library. And I also read for about half an hour before going to bed every night.

我十分欣赏简?爱那独特的性格，在无法忍受舅妈的打骂时，她决定离开，在得知罗切斯特有妻子后，他选择离开，不适合自己，不属于自己的东西，她毅然不要。现实生活中《简?爱》的作者也是如此，这本书就是根据她自身的经历而写的。在自尊和爱之间，简?爱选择了自尊，在贫苦和财富面前，她选择了贫苦，始终选择自己想要且适合自己的。

天使和恶魔、小丑和公主、贫苦和财富，我们也经常会面临这样的选择，而很多人就会选择好的那一个，而非适合自己的那一个，可是他们却忘了天使丑陋了也会变成恶魔，公主落败了也会变成小丑，财富没有了就会变得贫苦。在自尊与爱面前，我们也应该选择自尊，它可以使我们强大。

在人生的道路上，每个人都会面临各种各样需要做出选择的事。就拿现在每个孩子遇到最多的来说吧，那应该就是各种辅导班及兴趣班，我也不例外会面临这种选择。我的各科学习成绩都还不错，我对作文感兴趣，我想只上这方面的辅导班，可爸妈却说周末在家里闲着也是闲着，小孩子就应该多学点东西，省得将来在社会上找工作时吃亏，就还要给我报英语、绘画之类的，我知道父母是为我好，可我除了把学校应该学的知识学好以外，只想学自己喜欢的东西，不想把自己的童年变得那么累，于是就把自己的想法说出来好好跟爸妈沟通，最终父母尊重了我的决定!

简?爱教会了我怎样去面对生活中的各种选择，该舍弃时，要勇于舍弃，不必犹豫，也不必痛心，因为，这是最佳选择。

The Spring Festival is the most important traditional one in China. As an

important part of it, fireworks bring us happier atmosphere than usual. This

Spring Festival, Dad bought lots of fireworks as last year. On the eve, he

lighted them, and then they blossomed like flowers in the sky, with sweet sounds

and brilliant light. How beautiful! I was deeply moved, though every Spring

Festival I felt it. It brought me the beautiful feelings. At that moment I was

buried in the sea of happiness. And also it made me feel more about the

prosperity of our homeland.

Meanwhile, I was worried about the fireworks. First, setting off

firecrackers made a tremendous noise and caused serious air pollution. Also

childrens safety faced the crisis of getting burned or injured in the eyes.

Whats worse, many dustmens valuable time was wasted for fireworks pieces after

being set off dirtied the environment.

So I thought some day well have to forbid making and setting off

fireworks, though its a Chinese custom for hundreds of years.
