Jarviss efforts to establish Mothers Day. Although she initially suggested

June 5, the anniversary of her fathers death, she did not provide the

organizers with enough time to make arrangements, and the celebration was

deferred to the third Sunday of June. The first Fathers Day was celebrated on

June 19, 1910, in Spokane.

Unofficial support from such figures as William Jennings Bryan was

immediate and widespread. President Woodrow Wilson was personally feted by his

family in 1916. President Calvin Coolidge recommended it as a national holiday

in 1924. In 1966, President Lyndon Johnson made Fathers Day a holiday to be

celebrated on the third Sunday of June. The holiday was not officially

recognized until 1972, during the presidency of Richard Nixon.

Thank you very much for taking me with you on that splendid outing to London. It was the first time that I had seen the Tower or any of the other famous sights. If Id gone alone, I couldnt have seen nearly as much, because I wouldnt have known my way about.

The weather was splendid on that day, which I thought was rare. I still remember some people told me that in Britain there was weather and no climate. During the same day, it might snow in the morning, rain at noon, shine in the afternoon and be windy before the night falls. So I think I was lucky.

I think the river trip was the best thing of all. London really came alive for me as we saw it from the Thames during that wonderful journey down to Greenwich. It was all tremendously exciting - a day that I shall never forget.

“滴滴滴，滴——-”一声清脆的车笛声响起，我拖着一个行礼箱，奋力朝着一辆花斑色大巴跑去—没错，因为我要去夏令营了。

坐上车，我系好安全带，开始对着窗边的景物发呆，各种遂道、白云、树、平房在我眼前变幻，我忍不住幻想起了那儿的一切，低垂的小柳，可爱的喜鹊，宽阔的草坪…啊，我真是兴奋的手舞足蹈，恨不得马上出发，一览那儿的景色。

下车了，我们分配好营房和配具，然后就跟着教练来到了一片“小森林”，森林里空气清新，蝉声起伏，景色优美。原来我们要在这儿体验一把“疯狂原始人”，再一看，我才发现，一些挂在树上的“木头”，它们有的错乱无章，有的整整齐齐……一听规则，我才知道这是怎么玩的——是要我们一个个在上面闯过去，体验一下空中超人的感觉，我觉得看着挺简单的，可下一秒，我便后悔了。

这是一次难忘的蝶艺夏令营。

经过四小时欢乐的车程，我们来到了风景秀丽的天目湖，听导游叔叔介绍，因为从天上看，她像少女美丽的眼睛，这就是她名字的由来。

我们的第一个项目是上山捉蝴蝶，山上的天气像娃娃的脸，一会儿艳阳高照，一会儿倾盆大雨。虽然一场大雨浇得我一只蝴蝶都没抓到，但是我非常享受这个过程。最有趣的是今天的“绿色有约”夏令营联欢晚会，在老师们的带领下，我们一起做手工、唱歌、跳舞、做游戏、抽奖……我得到了好多的奖品和亲手制作作品，有粘纸、蝴蝶标本、蝴蝶香袋和自制蝴蝶宫扇……妈妈说行李箱都要装不下了！明天，还有做紫砂壶的活动，我真的好期待呀！

这么快乐的夏令营，既能学到知识又非常开心，一次怎么能够呢？！我和妈妈说好了，明年还要参加蝶艺夏令营！

今天已经是夏令营第4天了，很快我的美好夏令营就要结束了。但是我还是特别的高兴，因为今天是我们期待已久的CS大战!

我们到了CS门口，戴上头盔，穿上了梦寐以求的军装，拿着机关枪。嘿!真是那么回事呢!只听到老师突然说：“开始”。我们赶紧分散开来。我躲到一个隐蔽的角落——小木屋后面开始射击。我举起枪全神贯注的盯着前方，只见不远处有一个敌人。“我机会”我暗暗窃喜。大胆扣动了扳机，嗒、嗒、嗒·········射中了射中了，我开心的跳了起来!这一跳可彻底暴露了目标，结果可想而知了。

我虽然没有拿到前三名，但我很开心。因为这是一个我喜欢的活动，而且从中我领会了“不可以被胜利冲昏了头脑”这句话的含义。

这真是一次有意义的夏令营!

does not hinder yianju from sending you warm wishes for the new year and

keeping the same new house as you Happy mood; more owners have completed the

decoration tour of your home with the efforts of the eXcellent foremen of yianju

foremen club and the witness of yianju staff, which certainly contains

heartache, anger, joy and eXcitement. Of course, it is inseparable from your

hard work. Do you remember that our company staff asked the boss for leave to

facilitate you to go out and buy building materials? Do you still remember that

while you were out on business, you secretly went to the new house to "inspect"

在暑假，我参加了南京市博物馆举办的“高能研学团”暑期夏令营，整个夏令营为时三天，活动内容丰富多彩，让我度过了一个愉快的假期。

第一天，在完成了开营仪式后，我们首先参观了“长沙窑特展”，在那里看到了许多有价值的文物；之后，我们体验了模拟考古，拿着一根木棒和一把刷子将一块石灰块里用铁做的兵马俑模型给“挖”出来并清理干净，当时我们还做了防护，戴了防护面罩。

其实，这并不简单，当挖的只剩一点石灰后，就需要喷水，让石灰变软才好挖，再用刷子将上面的石灰清理掉，整个过程非常麻烦，花了将近一个小时。所以，最后做好的时候，我感到满满的成就感。

第二天，我们穿上了汉服去参观了“宋明服饰展”，里面的服装都非常好看，讲解员阿姨还贴心地为我们介绍每一种服饰。

随后，我们画了中草药，我画的是枸杞，画得不是很好，但因为是自己亲手画的，还是很开心。

在最后一天的活动行程里，我还碰到了一位熟人，她便是在民俗博物馆工作的布贴画非遗传承人祁竞老师，果不其然下午的活动是关于布贴画的。我们先参观了“布贴画展”，里面展出的都是祁老师的作品。之后，祁老师教我们做了“朝天宫牌坊”的布贴画，布贴画的做法就是将布剪成规定的形状，然后贴起来，在祁老师的指导之下我的作品完成的又快又好。

夏令营过去半个多月了，现在想起来，这些精彩纷呈的活动，让我拥有了一个难忘的夏令营。

昨天，我有幸参加了学校组织的夏令营活动。当天下午，爸爸妈妈把我送到和畅堂校区后，就要走了，我有点担心，想：爸爸妈妈走了，所有事情都要靠我自己，平时衣来伸手、饭来张口的我可怎么办呢？

就在我发愁的时候，老师说：“小朋友，我们先去一下宿舍，放好了包，跟着老师一起去大礼堂里参加开营典礼。”开营典礼结束后我们吃完晚饭、洗完澡后回到了宿舍，大家在宿舍里谈天、做游戏、玩金鸡独立……真快乐！有的同学还爬到别人的床上嬉戏，真有趣！有的同学在床上吃东西，真贪吃！还有的同学在地上翻跟头，真厉害！大家在宿舍里说说笑笑，晚上睡觉也不觉得害怕，因为宿舍里充满欢乐。

这次有趣的夏令营活动使我尝到了独立自在的欢乐。我多希望以后这样的集体活动多参加几次，可以离开爸爸妈妈的管束，在自己的小天地中自由自在地飞翔！

今年暑假期间，我参加了一个为期为六天五夜的夏令营。这是由三个带队老师加上二十几个小朋友组成的一个大团体。里面的小伙伴年龄大小不一，最大的是上初中的小哥哥，最小的应该是像我这般大的二年级小学生吧！其中有一个小伙伴是我的同班同学，也是这次活动我唯一认识的人，她叫徐馨怡，看到有她在，我感觉自己悬着的心踏实了很多。

七月十四号那天是我们约定出发的日期，老师要求大家八点在佛山西站集合。妈妈一大早就和我从家里出发了，一路上车不多，很顺畅，所以我们很早就到达了集合地点。当我们到的时候，还只有三四个家庭也到了集合处，由于大家都不认识，看到同样都是带着行李箱又在那里等待，大概也猜测到这些都是来参加这次活动的队员了。慢慢地，大家一边聊一边等，气氛也慢慢热闹了起来。

快到约定时间的时候，队员来得差不多了。这时，老师开始点名，并且让我们从矮到高的排好了队伍，还让我们穿上了队服，这样看起来不但美观很多，而且也好让老师管好自己的队员，当然，也更好的让我们结识团队的小伙伴，真是一举三得啊！

告别来送行的爸爸妈妈后，我们跟着老师出发了！大家都很开心，虽然彼此之间还不认识，却没有一点距离感，大家都是一脸的兴奋，期盼着这次旅行能有不一样的体验。

一路我们坐高铁，转乘高铁，然后又坐大巴。经过几个小时车程后，终于到达了目的地——丹霞山！看到这么美的景色，大家忘却了坐车的疲惫，顿时又满血复活了，叫的叫，笑的笑，好不热闹。

接着，老师为我们安排住房问题，安排好后，我们便带着行李来到自己的房间。这个酒店是一个图书馆酒店，外面看起来是个图书馆，但是里面设施非常齐全，不但有住宿，还有餐厅，还有一个可以上课或者搞活动的公共区域等等，真是太棒了！

接下来的这几天，我们去了美丽的丹霞山写生；去了博物馆了解丹霞山的地貌和历史，还参加了艺术家工作室；去了地里拔花生，知道花生是怎么来的；还自己动手磨豆浆、煮豆花；夜晚我们带着手电筒去山上寻找动物，观察它们的生活环境与生存方式；休闲时间我们还踢足球，表演唱歌等等……太多太多的活动与节目了，让我沉醉其中，回味无穷。

美好的时光总是过得飞快，一转眼又到了回程的日期了。和来的时候一样，我们也是先坐高铁，再转乘到佛山西站。还没出站，我便远远见到一个熟悉的身影在出站口那等着我了。

虽然有些不舍跟他们分开，但我们终将都要回到自己的小家庭。跟老师还有小伙伴们依依告别后，我和妈妈一边开心的聊着这几天的趣事，一边朝停车场走去……

这真是一次难忘的夏令营啊！

盼望着、盼望着、今天终于去夏令营了。

出发了，我和小伙伴们坐上客车，开往昆明。当时我心想：我妈妈说去夏令营里是要吃苦的。我就有点心急：老天啊！保佑我千万不要吃苦啊！急着、急着、我睡着了……。

“到了！”我被小伙伴的叫声惊醒了。我看见一栋高大的建筑物上刻着“昆明陆军学院”几个大字。我立刻想起了妈妈的话，又急了！这时一位身穿迷彩服的胖叔叔走过来，领着我们去学院里。

我进去宿舍里，看到了我的“老同学”李皓羽，终于有个要好的朋友了。这时，门被打开了，原来是生活老师叫我们去领军装，我可激动了，穿起来要有多帅啊！军装领来了。穿起来，好帅啊！晚上，吃饭了，菜一点也不好吃，红烧肉成了红烧土豆，而且盐一点也不够，哎，我开始想念家里的饭菜，想念妈妈。

说起训练，比吃饭还难受。每天六点起床，十点睡觉。五点半，随着军号响起，“八队！集合！”一——二——三—四，一二三—四！”那些军人叔叔们就把我们全吵醒了我到六点的军号我才醒来。六点半，我们训练500米短跑；七点半吃早点；八点练习持枪卧倒方式；九点休息；十一点吃午饭；十二点半睡午觉；十五点半站军姿；十七点吃晚饭；十八点休息；二十点和教官做游戏；二十二点睡觉。

还有一次“真人CS镭战”，可把我弄晕了，不信，你看：第一场是伏击战，可我当成了歼灭战，冲上去就“死”了……第二场是歼灭战，蓝队一冲上来……太搞笑了！终于去福保了！福保文化城里可以游泳、租皮艇等各种水上娱乐设施，休息室可以看电视；网吧可以玩电脑……还可以在那里大吃一顿快餐，真是太爽了！

虽然有点吃苦，但这点苦不算什么，我已经“苦中得甜”学到了不少本领了呢！

夏令营伴我成长，这不署假伊始，便开始了萧报组织的北京坝上草原行的夏令营活动。别看我只有二年级，这可是我第二次独自一人出远门了呢！爸妈在临行前虽有唠叨，但更多的是对我满满的信任，所以我就带着这份信任起航了。

火车一路驰骋，经过10多个小时的长途跋涉，终于落地于北京。我忍不住地张开双臂，闭着眼睛，深吸一口属于帝都的空气，“北京我来了！”

北京行第四天，我们来到了莘莘学子心驰神往的中国最杰出的高等学府——清华大学。可因为限流，未能入府，很是遗憾。可这没关系，还有更刺激的行程等着我们，登天下第一雄关——居庸关，也就是登长城去喽！

站在长城的脚下，抬头望去，那高高的台阶蜿蜒无尽，仿佛是一条通向蓝天的云梯，绵延不绝，巍峨青山，豪气凌云。

一上长城，伙伴们都迫不及待的三步并作两步地往前冲，嘴里不停啧啧赞叹着：“好壮观呐！”很快的爬到了第一个峰台，有那么一点累，可是大家伙都沉浸在兴奋中，继续往第二峰台前进，这里的台阶没有了之前的平坦，而是又长又陡，成70度角，越往上爬就越吃力，汗流浃背，想要休息，可看着同伴们一个个的咬牙坚持着，我也不能被落下，埋头继续拖着沉重的步伐往上登。终于在离第三个峰台不到点的地方，累趴下了，灌了铅的双脚无力极致。我只有站在那里，感受习习微风，倍感清爽。眺望长城，峰台星罗密布，山峰险峻，高挺，万里长城如蛟龙腾跃于山顶之上，多么的气势雄伟呀！不愧为世界奇迹的见证。而我沿着山脊，踏着台阶，扶着城墙，用自己的双脚，勇登长城，这份豪气不负为“不到长城非好汉”。我今天可真正做了一回好汉，女汉子也！

It is known to all that today the environment has been badly polluted.

Though many action have been taken to protect our environment, it still has a

long way to go. Two years ago, I went to middle school, and the first moment I

saw the environment, I found that trees were very small, and many workers were

busy planting trees. Now, when I looked around our school, the trees were taller

than people and they grew so fast. People always talk about planting trees but

less of them can take action. If they plant trees immediately, then there would

be more green scenery. Protecting the environment is not just words. We should

take action right now.
