春节的前一天是除夕，也就是大年三十。关于除夕有这么一个传说：古时候有一个怪物叫夕，每一年的岁末它就会来害人。后来，人们知道夕最怕声响和红光。于是到了那天，大家就点燃鞭炮，门上贴上了春联，把夕给吓跑了。就这样人们为了纪念这一天，把大年三十定为除夕日。

现在每到这一天，家家户户都会贴春联，放鞭炮，开开心心地过除夕。

这一天，我家也一样。全家人可忙了：爸爸和爷爷忙着布置房间，妈妈和奶奶忙着准备晚餐，我和姐姐忙着放鞭炮。

到了晚上，全家围着圆桌开开心心地吃起了团圆饭。看，大圆桌上摆满了丰盛的美味佳肴：有红红的大龙虾，有香喷喷的红烧肉，有色泽鲜艳的蔬菜等，最引人注目的是桌子中间的热腾腾的饺子，看得我口水直流。我们把菜吃得干干净净。尤其是爸爸，他的肚子已经圆溜溜了，他还要吃。吃完饭，我们还拿到了大人们分给的压岁钱。

家乡的春节，素来让我好奇，过惯了县城里“清淡”的春节的我更是想一探究竟。我猜，它一定洋溢着家乡的特色。

我知道家乡人热情，厚道，好客，家乡的春节，果真如此！

浓浓的年味早在“祭灶”时弥漫开来。老家人到春节，最不可缺的就是三大样，烧“香”，串门，和看戏了。最吸引我的，还是那一支支能点上十二小时的巨大的香。

老家的香可太绝了，它不仅个头大（高约150厘米），且防水又耐用。这种香并不执著于暗紫的颜色，工匠们灵巧的双手用金黄的银粉绘制出手一条盘旋着的龙，更在龙鳞上下足了功夫，凹凸不平，有起有落，龙的神态更是异常逼真，正要向你扑过来似的，两端还用橙红色镶上了“吉祥”二字。

据爷爷辈的老人说，晚上点着这么一支，它便会像秦叔宝和尉迟恭一样，整晚护着你，一年到头平平安安的。这香一户在春节期间通常备三支，除夕夜，初一夜晚，正月十五晚各一支。这香最有特点的地方还是它特有的香味。它丝毫不像平时的短短的那种香，点燃时散出一丝丝黑烟，而是略有一点儿好闻。爷爷笑眯眯地告诉我：“这香的寓意可多了，他让孩子们能够安心，辟邪，用处多了去了。”

随着第一支香在除夕之夜燃烧为灰烬，农历新年的第一天———初一就来了。这时，第二项必不可少的礼节-----串门压岁，便取代了一切。正所谓“一方风俗养育一方人”，老家的串门并不只是双手抱拳行个礼，说声：“新年好。”或“恭喜发财”。还要用这儿产的福橘和包给主人家压岁压惊。这不，我起床没多久，就有人上门拜年了。

这时候的主人家更不能小气了，你越是热情，越好客，自己和来客也高兴。第一个来拜年的是邻家的姆姆，我小时候可没少受她关照，她来给我们压岁，我可要好好招待她。姆姆前脚刚踏进屋里，我就迎了上去，脸上瞬间挤满了笑容，我的第一个动作就是接过姆姆递过来的一袋“压岁礼品”，我知道，这也是一种礼貌。我将袋子拿进屋里后，连忙请姆姆上座。自己则忙不迭的给客人沏茶，瓜子糖果茶面包甘蔗桔子梨样样不能小气，因为来串门的人越多，表示你人缘好，况且这也是祝福的到来。姆姆高兴地喝完茶后，我见缝插针的与她聊起了家常。她很高兴，虽然席间我们的交流语言不是很通畅，也通过比比划划来交流，可是，老家人主客之间的热情与朴素却是挡不住的滚滚而来，温彻心扉。

初六这天，家家户户都兴致勃勃的谈论着下午三点，雷打不动的巡演戏。

下午两点半，我们早早来到祠堂，容纳一千人的大厅座无虚席，来自东湖镇各个村的老戏迷，小戏迷们坐拥一堂，好不热闹！

这场戏给我留下最深的印象的不仅仅是演员们精彩的打斗，更是老家人对中国古老的戏剧文化的一种热爱与推崇。
