由于水源的污染与地下水的超量开采，人类的淡水资源已经开始告急。由于森林的砍伐与过度开垦，放牧、水土流失与土地沙漠化问题日趋严重。由于地球的破坏，截至2000年已有2、3万种植物与1000多种脊椎动物绝灭，现在每小时就有1种生物从地球上消失。土地污染，人类乱砍树木，岩石下滑，洪水冲毁了房屋，淹没了庄稼；人们往河中乱丢垃圾，造成了水污染，到处可见随手扔掉的塑料口袋，形成白色污染。人们乱杀动物，造成动物灭绝；人们乱摘花木，使我们失去了美丽。人类只有一个地球，我们生活在地球上，就要保护地球，保护我们的家园。

为了家园，为了我们自己、为了造福子孙后代、让我们携起手来，保护自然环境，用我们的努力创造新天地。我们相信，明天一定会更加美好！

有些人不珍惜地球赐予我们的一切，例如人们乱砍乱伐，大量使用一次性筷子和乱扔塑料袋，制造白色垃圾等已经给大自然带来了许多环境问题，严重影响了我们的生活。还有大气污染，酸雨和臭氧层等带来的危害都是大自然给人类带来的灾害，人们乱砍乱伐，乱扔塑料袋和使用一次性筷子等，这些就是人们不尊重大自然而造成的，没有自然，便没有人类。这是世界一大朴素的真理，人们只会一味的抢夺自然，征服自然，只会破坏生态系统，咎由自取，使人类濒于困境。切记，保护环境就等于保护我们自己生存的环境。

我想大家都看过《金湖美》吧。可你知道吗？那么美的金湖曾经是一个臭水潭！这得从金湖的由来讲起了。

１９５４年８月１０日夜，个旧市区遭受到一场特大暴雨的袭击，市区周围２０多平方公里范围内也普降特大暴雨，大量洪水从山沟顺流而下，全部汇集到市区９平方公里的洼地处，洼地水面在一夜之间上升了0.8米。随后，又连续降雨，多时每天降雨量达0.0742米，洼地水面不断扩大，水位继续上涨，加上市区东面老阴山山脚的“落水洞”不仅不能正常落水，反而冒水，最大出水量为每秒５．７３立方米。１９５４年８月几次暴雨之后，落水洞又大量出水，致使原云南锡业公司机关、机厂、炼厂，原个旧市砖瓦厂、砖瓦窑、铁工厂、农民服务站等全部被淹，洪灾一共造成民房被淹９５６间、６５９户，２８１０人受灾，田地被淹２２８亩８分。

然而灾害都不是完全无益的，这次灾后在市中心形成了一个面积约为0.8平方公里的水潭，这使历史上缺水的矿区人们看到了希望，于是人们决定治理它利用它，便把这潭水留了下来，作为矿区的主要生产用水供水源头，但是人们用水不加节制，各类污水不加处理直接排入湖内，导致了金湖湖底连年升高，蓄水量连年减少，最终金湖变成了一个臭水潭。在水面上漂着许多动物的尸体和各类生活垃圾，人走在湖边臭气熏天，人们常常掩鼻而过，金湖真正的变成了臭水潭。但是人们并没有停止对已经变成臭水潭的金湖的污染。

终于人们的这种行为遭到了大自然的惩罚，1998年又一次发生了洪灾，这次洪灾至使金湖沿岸多处民房被淹，最深处淹到了三楼，污水直接灌进家里，这次洪灾引起了政府的

高度重视，从那以后金湖边建起了许多污水处理站金湖的情况渐渐的好起来了，水越来越清，能看见水里的鱼儿在欢快的嬉戏，后来金湖就成了我在《金湖美》里描写的那样了。

在此我要呼吁大家一起保护地球的环境，不要让地球重倒金湖的覆辙！

I remember once, when our family just had dinner, the old lady raised her sleeves and stretched out her bare hands and exposed hands to wash dishes for us. I asked, "old man, why is your hand so ugly?" grandma heard to me: "children, we can grow up, we can go to school and be educated, all by the old mans hands to wash clothes for others to earn money." After hearing this from grandma, I hung my head from guilt. The old lady said, "when you catch up with the good times, we must cherish and study well, and become a useful person for the future." In my memory, no matter when, old woman wearing clothes are washed clean, please tell them. Wearing a neat, spiritual God.

I will always remember that old lady often visited her before she died. She was lying in bed weakly. Her eyes had lost their former beauty. But I can feel her sadness and bring to us on several good expectations from his old eyes.

Before the tomb of Lao Tai, we lifted the weeds, planted the soil and placed flowers on them. I also sprinkled the old ladys favorite wine around the grave.

I stood in front of Lao Tais grave and said softly, "old lady, are you okay in heaven?"
