夏天，虽然烈日当空，但浓密的绿叶会给我们遮着太阳，让我们在树底下乘凉，使我们感到了凉爽。而且，还有美味可口的冰激凌让你浑身爽快，这样，就算再热再毒的太阳也无济于事。而且，每到放暑假，爸爸还会带我去海边游泳。我抱着游泳圈就冲进海里，啊！那个爽啊！我一会蝶泳，一会蛙泳，身上的热气全没了！夏天的晚上，更是清爽，一阵阵风吹来，让你感到凉爽，不是大风，也不是小风，而是一种能瞬间让你全身都变得凉爽的不大不小的风。我和妈妈拿了个手电筒和一个塑料瓶，去广场找知了猴。用人山人海来形容广场上的人可是真的不过分。有耍剑的老人，也有在互相追逐打闹的孩子，还有的就是和我们一样去捉知了猴。我们跟着人群来到了一片小树林，人群逐渐分开，各自找地去挖知了猴，我和妈妈找了一个人比较少的地方，开始挖了起来。妈妈挖，我则拿着手电筒从树上找知了猴，都说小孩子的眼尖，我的眼睛此时就像一架扫面议，仔细的扫描着每一颗树，只要一发现知了猴，就像妈妈汇报。“妈妈，这有一只！”“妈妈，这里还有一只！”最后，我们拿着我们的“战绩”高高兴兴地回家了。

夏天要是下雨了的话，我们正好没有带伞，那个时候，我们可以在“大树伞”的底下避雨。而且，我最爱吃的水蜜桃，也是在夏天成熟的。

书不但满足了我的求知欲，而且弥补了我精神世界的空虚。我从中汲取了一种精神，一种积极的、向上的东西，使我少了意气用事的莽撞、睚眦必报的狭隘，不再为芝麻粒般的琐事斤斤计较、大伤肝脾。每当我为取得萤火虫光般大小的成绩而沾沾自喜时，书令我惊醒；每当我彷徨迷惘时，书给我启示。她使我少了些浮躁，多了份淡泊，使我豁达乐观的面对生活。

书不仅丰富了我的精神生活，也丰富了我的情感世界，使我成了一个具有辞让之心、恻隐之心、是非之心、羞恶之心的人。
