刺猬的刺可是它的武器，每当遇到天敌时，它就会缩成一个可怕的刺球，就连凶猛的野猪也拿它没办法。

刺猬的爪子有老鹰的爪子那样锐利，所以，这还是刺猬捕捉其他小动物的好帮手之一呢!

在瓜地里，它还是远近闻名的“偷瓜贼”，它“偷”瓜的方法可和人类摘瓜的方法不一样哦——每当夜幕降临，小刺猬就会偷偷窜到瓜地里，将瓜皮刺进背上的“钢刺”里，然后，一翻身，就背着瓜溜走了。
