I think Mid-Autumn Day is an old traditional festival in China。 Everybody likes it because its a family get-together。 You see it is called"Mid-Autumn Day"， so it often es in September or October。 It is on the 15th of the 8th of the lunar month。 Now， lets say something about this interesting festival。

Secondly， I11 say something about the tradition on Mid-Autumn Day。 Look!Theres a big tree in a garden of a Chinese fami-ly。 All the family members are sitting around a big table under the tree in the open air。 They are eating the mooncakes and admiring the full moon in the sky。 That is a family reunion dinner。 The mooncakes and the moon represent the love from a family。 I think this is one of the most valuable things in the world。

Thirdly，it is a very good opportunity to make three wishes on Mid-Autumn Day。 My wishes are: the first， I， an astronaut in the future， would like to go to the moon one day， and stay with the sky and stars; the second， I hope every person in the world will stay with family， share love from the family forever; the third， I hope everybodys dream will e true。

That is the Mid-Autumn Day in my mind。 I will always re-member: East or West， home is best。

I am very happy today for I had the chance to help the old people in our

subdistrict. Nowadays, many adults are busy with therir job and have no time to

take good care of their old parents. I want to try my best to help the old come

out of lonely life and now I can.I will try my best to make the old people

smile, I am sure I can do it!

早上，我一觉睡到10点多，刚一起床，奶奶就来喊我吃午饭了，我心想：要是每天都这么晚起床，把早上最宝贵的时间都浪费掉了，那这个寒假损失就大了。我得给自己的寒假做一份计划表，把它贴在我的写字台前，让它时时刻刻的提醒我，每时每刻该干什么。我要让这个寒假变得丰富多彩，每天不能只是玩，也可以帮妈妈做些家务，更重要的是要在这一个月的时间里调整好自己，让自己变得更好。

吃完午饭后，我觉得我已经浪费了整整一上午的时间了，我一定要合理安排好下午的时间，给自己充足电。

The Lunar New Year

The Lunar New Year occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year, during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school, and shops are closed.

Several days before the new year, people begin to prepare. Farmers kill pigs, sheep, cocks and hens. City dwellers buy meat fish and vegetables. Houses are cleaned; couplets are posted on the doors. Colourful lanterns are hung at the gate.

突然，一个大约两三岁的小男孩出现在了楼梯口，只见他热情地跑上前去，想要去抱那两只野猫。两只野猫迅速向西跑了5米，黄猫停了下来，似乎想要吸引男孩的注意。白猫向右方跑去，黄猫回头望了望，然后又“喵——!”地大叫一声，企图吓住小男孩。小男孩反倒更兴奋了，双手握拳，笑嘻嘻地向黄猫跑去，想要去揍黄猫。黄猫被吓得不轻，以平均5米/秒的速度火力向左前方跑去，小男孩紧随其后，黄猫被逼得无路可走，只得钻进了汽车底下。小男孩失望极了，低着头，往回走，好像什么事也没有发生。

在这个小区里，有许多野猫，大家都吓唬它们，甚至驱逐它们。因此，垃圾桶成了它们的餐厅，汽车底成了它们的卧室。它们也有生命，但为什么如此卑微?如果没有了猫，老鼠便会大量繁殖;如果没有了猫，生态便会不平衡;如果没有了猫……每个生命都有它存在的价值，我们一定要善待它们。

虽然不是第一次军训，可是第一天的体验依旧让我有些措手不及。因为我们似乎在教官的眼中不再是一群未成年的学生，而是以军人的态度，军队的要求来对待我们。

今天卓老师让我去听听学友元老级英语教师赵紫刚老师上的英语课，听说他上课上得很好，作为实习老师的听课与以往的听课应当不同的。可叹自己做了16年的学生，听了各色各样的老师讲课，或严谨或幽默，或深入浅出，或步步深入，习惯了听课只是记笔记，学知识，从来没有留心去观察老师上课的方法，但是这堂得听课，我的重点就是去观察一个老师是如何组织她的教学活动的。赵老师讲课声音很宏亮，我坐在最后面还可以听得非常清楚。第一次听课听的便是新单元的对话与短文理解。那些对话与短文我倒是可以讲清楚是什么意思，但是对于其中体现的语法，新单词的运用等我却并不能一一指出。尤其是那些什么形式宾语，定语，状语之类的术语，自己最是难以说清。再加上大学里学的英语多是欣赏阅读，很少涉及到句子结构语法分析。大二时讲的语法课是全英文的厚厚的一本，当堂课还知道讲的什么。课后全不知什么了，发现自己的英语知识只是零散的东一块西一片，没有形成整体的结构框架，不知道怎样串起来，也不知道哪里是重点。看见赵老师给同学们一条一条例举的详略得当又重点突出，觉得自己在教学太欠缺了，得好好学习一下了。但是我还没有直接问他因为我感觉自己能解决的问题自己先解决比较好。

那三年，记录着肆意妄为的我。我们懵懂着，真实着。我们一路成长，一路怀念着那些给我们带来感动的事，怀念着那些给我们带来快乐的人。怀念那年与你们不顾形象地闹。谢谢那些曾经真诚陪伴我走过最天真的三年的那些二货们，谢谢你们一直不离不弃。

青春是一段快乐的时光，每个人都有属于自己的回忆，或高兴、或感动、或悲伤。不是每个人的回忆都是轰轰烈烈的，不是每个人都希望天涯海角，只要我们真诚相待，只要自己无悔时，就是青春吧。

那是我三四岁的时候，在乡下感冒了。妈妈开始以为是小感冒，就给我吃了一点感冒药，可是到了晚上时候，我高烧不退，不停地吵闹，直到吵到我没一点力气为止。当时天气很冷，又下着大雨，深更半夜的。爸爸一边摸着我的头，对我说：“乖，乖，乖……”还不停地叫妈妈拿毛巾帮我敷额头。后来我迷迷糊糊地听您对妈妈说：“不行，得赶紧送孩子去医院。”因医院离家比较远，又是大晚上的。妈妈说：“还是等明天再去吧。您说：“不行，必须要背她去医院。”乡下的路不好走，又是小路，到处泥泞。您就打着手电筒，背着我，快步地出门了。我昏昏沉沉地睡在您的背上，感觉到您走路深一脚浅一脚的，非常艰难。你还不停地安慰我说：“瑄瑄，坚持一会儿，到了医院就没事了。”当时，我的眼泪止不住地往外流，我想：要是我不生病该多好呀，您也不会这么累了。很快到了医院，医生检查了一遍，又给我打了针。第二天等我醒来的时候，发现您一晚上都没睡，就那样一直陪在我身边。我望着您，想对你说：“爸爸，我爱您，你就是我的一片蓝天。“

Everyone admires beauty. Everyone has his own standard about beauty.

Nowadays some people tend to think that they own beauty if they have a good

looking. They are not satisfied with their appearance. They spend much money

taking a kind of operation. Can beauty really be man-made? If so， everybody can

get beauty. As a result， there is no beauty at all.

The appearance is given by our parents and is unique in the world. Everyone

should value it. Id rather prefer nature as the standard of beauty. Just accept

yourself， accept everything the god gives to you， and create the beautiful life

belong to you.

Many heroes dont have beautiful surface. However， their beautiful images

often come to our minds. Their beauty comes from their contributions to the

society.

Dont be eager to judge whether a person is beautiful or not without a

thorough understanding of him. A beautiful person is not the one with a good

looking， but with a broad and kind heart.

Good looking is pleasant while spiritual beauty is more important. As an

old saying goes， “ Virtue is fairer than beauty. ” If you have a kind heart， you

own real beauty.

Now I would like to give you some details about Thanksgiving Day in the

United States. Thanksgiving Day is the most truly American of the national

Holidays in the United States and is most closely connected with the earliest

history of the country.

In 1620, the settlers, or Pilgrims, they sailed to America on the May

flower, seeking a place where they could have freedom of worship. After a

tempestuous two-month voyage they landed at in icy November, what is now

Plymouth, Massachusetts.

The pattern of the Thanksgiving celebration has never changed through the

years. The big family dinner is planned months ahead. On the dinner table,

people will find apples, oranges, chestnuts, walnuts and grapes.There will be

plum pudding, mince pie, other varieties of food and cranberry juice and squash.

The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and pumpkin pie. They

have been the most traditional and favorite food on Thanksgiving Day throughout

the years.

人人都赞成感恩节大餐必需以烤火鸡为主菜。火鸡在烘烤时要以面包作填料以吸收从中流出来的美味汁液，但烹饪技艺常因家庭和地区的不同而各异，应用什幺填料也就很难求得一致。今天的感恩节是一个不折不扣的国定假日。在这一天，具有各种信仰和各种背景的美国人，共同为他们一年来所受到的上苍的恩典表示感谢，虔诚地祈求上帝继续赐福。

今天是个永远难忘的日子，全校同学集体到世纪欢乐园游玩。大家一个个高兴地像个打地鼠，窜来窜去。

一路上，大家吃着校长奶奶分发的美味可口的小食品，一边幻想着世纪欢乐园的样子。有的人说可能像城堡，有的说可能像魔宫，还有的人说像芭比啦宫殿……大家众说纷纭，高兴地不亦乐乎。可真正到了目的地，才发现它远比我们想象的还要绝伦。

到了欢乐园，首先玩了激流勇进，真是惊险而刺激。第一个缓坡并没有让我害怕，等到了第二个高坡，着实让我冒了一身冷汗，心都好像悬在嗓子眼儿里。溅起的水花把大家的衣服都弄湿了，可大家依然沉浸在那份欢乐里。

接着，我们登上摩天轮，坐在有空调的小玻璃房子里，倍感舒畅。不知不觉我们转到了百米高空。往下一看，把大家吓得尖叫起来，生怕掉下来，心就像十五只吊桶——七上八下的。

然后，我们走进“瞒天过海”，说句实话，一点也不好玩，累得我腰酸背痛的。

最后，我们坐了惊险刺激的海盗船，可爱的青蛙跳，高空漫步的彩虹桥……

不知不觉中集合的时间到了，大家还陶醉在快乐的游玩中，我们恋恋不舍地离开了欢乐园。

多么开心的一天啊，多么值得我回忆和留恋的地方!

During the National Holiday, I went travelling with my friend Li Ming in a

tour group. We went to Wuxi, Jiangsu and had a great time there.There were

fifteen people in our tour group. Mr. Li, our tour guide, left a deep impression

on us with his sense of humour. On the first day, we visited a tourist

attaction, which was in many great movies and TV shows. On the second day, we

went boating on the Tai Hu Lake, where we were amazed at the beautiful scenaries

there. We had such a good time that we even didn。

t want to leave when the tour was over.It was nice to relax a little from

time to time. After the holiday, I will work hard with all the good

memories。
