老虎妈妈生了一个孩子，它很笨，什么也学不会，食物要妈妈给它捕捉，事情要妈妈去解决，小动物们个个都嘲笑它。

它真想找个小动物来帮忙，教它学会一些本领。但是小动物们都不肯教它，只有小猫想教它。小老虎就高高兴兴地跟小猫学本领了。

小猫就认真地教起小老虎，首先教它捕捉食物，再教它一些生活上的小常识和本领，一个动作和知识要教好长时间呢!就这样过去了四天，老虎终于学会了小猫所教的全部本领。学完后，老虎咧开嘴，龇着牙，向小猫扑去。可小猫一躲就爬到了树上，老虎很生气地在树下等着，看着小猫。小猫说：“我早就知道我给你教完本领你就会吃我，但是我还有一招没教给你，那就是爬树。”

直到现在，所有的老虎还是不会爬树。
