As a student ，I don’t have any great event to talk about ，but here I want to share my experience of preparing for the high school entrance examination.

During the first three years of junior school ，we were very happy and free .But we often heard that Grade 4 would be a hell. After the final exam of Grade 3 in June， everything blew onto our faces : teachers’ changing ， harder and harder texts ， terrible pressure and of course the graduate exam .Where your position was on the listboard became the most important thing in our life .We had to study hard day and night ，always from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. the next day.

But I must say that it’s really an unforgettable memory in my life. Under the pressure we lived our life to the fullest， and enjoyed the true interesting things that we may have never cared before. Grade 4 in junior school was a turning point in my life. My attitude to learning， my world outlook and my philosophy of life all changed. I turned to be positive and strong. I also gained many people’s true & pure friendship， both teachers ’ and classmates’. In some way， I like that kind of life， as it taught me many things I’d never learned before.

Teachers also helped me a lot. I still can’t forget that my history teacher talked to me until 10:00 p.m. on April 30th， 2003， for my application. My head teacher also encouraged me， so did my Chinese teacher. I should say， all my teachers worked very hard and always neglected their sleep and meals. Even if some of them were about 50 and often fell ill， they never left us one day .

I was born on May 19,xxx.Every birthday receive presents such as toys,candy ang books from my parents and friends.But this birthday is different.

Onthe morning of my fourteenth birthday, I got up earlier than usual to make breakfast for my parents. I wanted to give them a surprise. this is the first time I have got up earlier than my parents and made breakfast for them.And I will never forget their smiling faces when tey saw what Idid for them.

Last summer, I went to Beidaihe for my holiday with my family. We took a train because the way is not far. We lived in a big hotel where could see the sea . We stayed there for three days.

The first day, we went for a walk along the seaside, and then we went swimming and took a lot of interesting photos there. The second day, we went to a famous market and bought many keepsakes. I was going to bring these keepsakes for my friends. The last day, we had a good picnic on the seaside with the natives. They acted all kinds of programmes and made us feel happy.

I believe that only we do thus can we have a better living environment.

One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. What is more, vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.

To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot. Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the population planning policy into practice, because more people means more people means more pollution. Most westerners always celebrate Christmas Day as their major festival, in

order to memorialize Jesus. During that time, they always have several days off,

so they can enjoy this festival with all their hearts. The children often get

together with their friends. The adults are busy with decorating their houses.

They also send the postcards with their best wishes to each other. In the

streets, there are so many Fathers Christmas sending presents to the passers-by.

The after-class activities in my school are colorful. Every day we play basketball, football, do rope skipping and so on. When I was in high school, I felt so bored about the English class, because I did not understand it. Miss Li was my English teacher, she found my attitude to her class. 军中的生活第一天可能是在学校的习惯，并且军训的作息时间和学校的差不多，所以我们没有一个人吃到这点被连长表扬了，等下出差回去洗漱，吃早饭，八点准时到瓦房后面集合时间一到，全体二连长的指挥安排好了训练的队伍在这鸦雀无声的走道上，响起了连长的声音"起步走，1.2.....，本来你日复一日，每天都是挥汗如雨，终于到了阅兵的那天了，是星期五也是要离开的日子，所以我特别珍惜这一天，从洗漱到吃早饭我在享受这每一秒也在珍惜每一秒，恨不得将时间停止，但这只是幻想，所以我要认真对待这次阅兵。连长说过一句话，不要好。我要最好。喇叭想起了高17班的进厂时，他们是训练不到五天的军队。但他们拥有铁一般的意志，打不倒的心态。连长，口令一响，原地踏步走121，齐步走。向右看我们便喊出一二变为正步娜美一脚放出整齐生都在震撼着我的心灵。同学们顿时有一盘散沙，被聚在一齐，正所谓一个巴掌拍不响。我们有79个脚长是不是应该震得山崩地裂，那时我流泪了，这滴泪，并不是难过要离开，而是我。真正的付出了。 不再见的离别星期六，是我们离开这生活五天的军校，这个军校是有灵性的，我相信。

最后一次的出操，我们怠慢了，这次出操，可能是要离开的原因，组长拿着喇叭发出凶人的语言说这次比平时慢了五分钟，你们在干什么的？是觉得终于不用军训很开心。是吗？我用心记住了最后一次在军训下的教育，车来了连长说："记住你们五天锻炼的心得，好好读书，为祖国服务。

军训鞭策我们前进，为的是让我们有刻苦训练的经历，便于在以后的生活道路上做一些指引，警醒自己，严于律己。我在这一段时间内做了一件我会遗憾的事，做了就不再遗憾了......
