Today we visited Red Star Farm.

Early in the morning, we met at the school gate and went there together.

About two hours later, we arrived. On arriving there, we were given a warm

welcome by the farm workers. Then one of the workers showed us around the farm.

We were very glad to see the crops and vegetables growing so well. At noon, we

had a picnic happily.

After the picnic, we enjoyed ourselves in the sunshine. We listened to

music, dancing and singing. Some were talking happily and even two of our

classmates played chess. How time flies! It was time for us to leave though we

我们来到了长隆野生动物园，里面人山人海，真热闹呀！首先，我们先坐着车游览一遍，我们先看到了长颈鹿，它们的脖子真长呀，它们正靠在大树上，哦？它们在干什么？原来它们在磨牙呀！它们的口水滴了下来，看起来有点脏。我们又去看了白虎，导游给我们讲：“因为白虎在森林中生活，它的颜色又格外的引人注目，所以现在的白虎已经很少见了。”我觉得白虎全身雪白，真的好漂亮呀！随后我们又看了好多凶猛的动物，最后我们下车参观。我们先去了侏罗纪世界，那里有好多的恐龙，做得太逼真了，地上还冒的有烟，连地上的脚印都做出来了；然后我们又去了金钱豹的展区，金钱豹正在睡觉，我仔细一看，它身上的毛有一个一个的圆圈，圆圈里面是一个一个菱形图案，很像古代的铜钱，我感到非常惊讶，然后我又恍然大悟，原来金钱豹的名字是这样来的。

后来我们在里面又看到了许多我没见过的动物，大象、犀牛、大熊猫、狗熊、狮子等等，真是让我大开眼界，不知不觉的天色暗了下来，我们也该走了，虽然我很舍不得，但是也要离开了，我还买了一个纪念品，是一个帽子，上面爬着一只小熊猫呢！我太喜欢长隆野生动物园了，下次有机会一定还要再来一次！

8月21日下午，我和大舅舅、姥姥还有两个弟弟参观了罕台庙动物园，今天天气凉爽、太阳高照很适合游园。

我们进了动物园，首先来到的是鸟棚，鸟棚有一座八层楼房那么大，外边是用黑色的玻璃做成的，是为了避免光照太强。鸟棚里有假山、假树、人工瀑布，地上有许多小水池，水池里有鱼，鸟儿就生活在这样幸福的环境里。这里边有很多种鸟，有亚力大山鸟、七色鹦鹉、彩色大鹦鹉、喜鹊、麻雀、啄木鸟、八哥、巨嘴鸟还有许想不起名字了。那些鹦鹉不说话，只有彩色大鹦鹉才会学人说话。我们来到了老鹰的住处，那里有10只老鹰，有6只小老鹰在假山上站着，有3只老鹰在地卧着，好像在产卵，1只老鹰在盆里啄食。

我们又来到了猴子的住处，这里有两种猴子，一种是弥猴，另一种是普通的猴子。普通的猴子比较多大约有20多只，住在一个大的地方，里面有假山和树滕。弥猴比较少只有5只，它们住在很小的地方，里面只有食物。

我们来到了非洲大黑猩猩的住处，我看到了3只老猩猩，1只老猩猩躺在假山上吃水果，另一只老猩猩在地上吃水果，另外一只猩猩在窗户旁边蹲着。猩猩的旁边住的是七八只狒狒，它们又瘦又矮，有的在假山上跳着，有的在滕上爬着，有的在地上吃水果。狒狒的邻居是狐猴，它的毛是黑白相间的，个子和狐狸差不多，尾巴特别长。19只狐猴把尾巴缠绕在一起就像喷泉一样，这时伺养员阿姨来了，她手里拿着一个盆，里面放着爆米花一样的东西，狐猴们自觉地排成一列长队，阿姨给每个狐猴喂两个，喂完狐猴们就散去了。

我们还参观了亚洲黑熊、非洲母狮、非洲豹、大鸵鸟、孔雀、梅花鹿、骆驼、羊驼、马、黑鹅、鸭子、丹顶鹤、长颈鹿、西方彩色大鱼、大龙虾等，今天下午参观的很开心，然后我们就高高兴兴地回家了。

How did you spend your summer vacation this year?

In my vacation, my family and I went to National Park. We visited the island in the center of the lake.

We took a ferryboat to the island at 9:00 am. The first place we visited was the Botanical Garden. Then we visited the Site of an Old Temple which had a history of over 600 years. Lunch was served at 11:30. After that, we went to see varieties of birds at the Birds House. We went shopping for some souvenirs at the Gift Shop before we left. Finally, we returned from the island by cable car at 3:30 pm.
