我爸以前扔垃圾都是不管三七二十一装在一个袋子里一同扔掉。可是现在却不同了，他每次都把垃圾分类，不可回收的都扔掉，可回收再利用的都收集起来卖给收废品的，这样卖废品的钱攒起来还可以买菜。

就这样两个月的低碳生活，不仅让我们家人人养成了好习惯，还节省了不少生活开销。妈妈高兴的说：“低碳生活既环保，又省钱，还能让我们健康的生活，我们家一定要把低碳生活进行到底!”

As the Christmas Day is coming, our class decided to send some gifts to our

teachers, because we wanted to show our gratitude to them. At first, we had no

idea what to buy, because we wanted to do something special. So at last an idea

came to my mind. I advised to write a card, pasting some pictures of classmates

on it. Everybody agreed with me, so we spent a day to take some funny pictures,

and everybody wrote down their names on the card. When we sent this gift to the

teachers, they loved it so much. They were so impressed by this precious

surprise and would keep it forever.

The History of Christmas ——圣诞节的来历

Christmas is a Christian holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. No one knows the exact date of Christ‘s birth, but most Christians observe Christmas on December 25. On this day, many go to church, where they take part in special religious services. During the Christmas season, they also exchange gifts and decorate their homes with holly, mistletoe, and Christmas trees. The word Christmas comes from Cristes maesse, an early English phrase that means Mass of Christ. The story of Christmas comes chiefly from the Gospels of Saint Luke and Saint Matthew in the New Testament.

The history of Christmas dates back over 4000 years. Many of our Christmas traditions were celebrated centuries before the Christ child was born. The 12 days of Christmas, the bright fires, the yule log, the giving of gifts, carnivals(parades) with floats, carolers who sing while going from house to house, the holiday feasts, and the church processions can all be traced back to the early Mesopotamians.

Many of these traditions began with the Mesopotamian celebration of New Years. The Mesopotamians believed in many gods, and as their chief god-Marduk. Each year as winter arrived it was believed that Marduk would do battle with the monsters of chaos. To assist Marduk in his struggle the Mesopotamians held a festival for the New Year. This was Zagmuk, the New Year‘s festival that lasted for 12 days.

又到了平安夜，我躺在床上，怎么也睡不着。要知道，从前年开始，我床头的圣诞袜里总会出现捉弄人的东西——臭气弹、毛毛虫真恶心！圣诞老人怎么会跟我们开这么低级的玩笑？今年我一定要探个究竟！

眼看着12点的钟声即将敲响，我马上起身，从衣柜里翻出上次百灵鸟送我的隐身衣，披在身上，站在窗边，静静地等待着。

窗外静悄悄的，突然，在窗边出现了一个巨大的黑影，是不是圣诞老人来了？我的心“咚咚”地打起了小鼓。“嚯”的一声，窗户被拉开了，一个身披红色棉袍，头戴红色尖顶帽的人进来了。看他背着的大袋子鼓鼓的，一定装着许多礼物吧？我刚想上前打招呼，忽然发现，那个“圣诞老人”脸上没有雪白的长胡子，而是长满了白毛，只有眼睛和鼻子是黑的，不好，是个冒牌货！

我警惕地盯着这个家伙，只见他“嘿嘿”笑着，在我的袜子里塞进了三个黑色的圆球，哼，这东西我去年圣诞节就见识过，是臭气弹！那天我不小心捏破了一个，弄得整个家里臭气熏天，一个星期味儿都没散，害我被妈妈数落了半天！这个可恶的家伙，看我怎么对付你！

我悄悄地打开抽屉，翻出被施了魔法的泡泡枪，趁着他弯腰继续往袜子里塞东西的时候，对着他的身子按下了“缩小键”，一个大大的泡泡飘了出来，在怪物头上敲了一下，这家伙便越缩越小，直到最后被泡泡整个包了起来。我仔细一看，嗬，原来是个小白鼬啊！看他在超级泡泡里翻来翻去的无奈样子，我忍不住哈哈大笑起来：“看你以后还敢不敢捉弄小朋友们！”

就在这时，随着“吁——”的一声，圣诞老人的驯鹿雪橇停在了我家窗前。我凑过去一看，嗬，红衣红帽，雪白的长胡子，没错，是圣诞老人！他背着个大袋子进了屋，轻手轻脚走到我床前，弯下腰来提起那个装了臭气弹的袜子。

我一把抢过袜子，把圣诞老人吓了一跳。哦，差点忘记我还穿着隐身衣！我笑嘻嘻地脱掉隐身衣，把泡泡里的怪物递给圣诞老人，“就是这个怪物假冒您给小朋友送臭气弹呢，您看！”说着，我把装着臭气弹的袜子打开给圣诞老人看。

“哦，原来是我的小宠物呀！”圣诞老人看着泡泡里的小白鼬，皱着眉头说，“你可真

不听话，谁让你来这里捣乱的？”他扭过头对我说：“谢谢你，小朋友，可不可以把它送给我？我给你送三份礼物怎么样？”

我没有说话，只是用泡泡枪给白鼬解除了魔法，把它递到圣诞老人手上：“这是我送给您的圣诞礼物！”“呵呵谢谢你！”圣诞老人开心地笑了，打开大包袱，在我耳边说：“给你个特权，自己选吧！”

“我不要礼物了，圣诞老人，您能不能满足我一个愿望啊？”我试探性地提出了要求。

“那你想要什么？”圣诞老人饶有兴趣地看着我。

“我想跟您一起去给小朋友送圣诞礼物！”

“好嘞，我正想找个助手呢！来吧，我们现在就出发！”跨上驯鹿马车，啊，我飞起来啦！

This tradition comes from the story of the three wise men who got gifts for baby Jesus on Christmas. Every Christmas, gifts are exchanged among loved ones,especially children. Hence, a single candle used to be placed outside the house as a sign that Christian prayers were being conducted inside.

This is one of the most wonderful traditions of all. Christmas candies are distributed to neighbors during the Yuletide season. Onthe day of Christmas, all misunderstandings and grudges are forgotten and the community comes together to celebrate the birth of Christ.

These traditions have been carried out for decades, yet they are celebrated with more and more exuberance each year. The level of excitement has never gone down. It just keeps getting better and better with time.
