20年前，我以全校尖子生的身份考入了市里一所重点高中。也许是母校成绩相对较差的原因，进入高中后的第一次“摸底”考试，我在班级里排到第15名。我心里非常焦急，暗下决心，一定要进入班级前3名。

我有些优点，也有些缺点。我先给你说说我的优点吧!优点1：我很受同学们的喜爱，为什呢?是因为我经常都同学笑呀。优点2：我非常喜欢看书。优点3：我在家里写完了作业，我哪也不去，就在床上看作文书，别人找我玩，我偶尔出去玩一下。好了，优点都说完了。该说说缺点了!缺点1：我很懒，妈妈叫我做什么我都不去做。缺点2：一去玩我就腿摔伤。缺点3：每次考试不该错的却错，害得我每次都考90多分，从不考100分……我玩的时候像疯了一样，怪不得我每一次回来的时候都有伤啊!有一次我的同学—泥鲁莹哭了，我问她怎么了，她不说，我就想了一个办法，结果她哈哈大笑。我能安慰人，也能把别人惹哭了。

我有一双水灵灵的眼睛。因为在家乡的时候，我老是被别人推或打，所以我老哭，就有了一双水灵灵的眼睛。而且我有一个灵敏的鼻子，因为上次我回到家的时候就闻到了炒鸡蛋的味道了。我喜欢音乐，我到现在都没变，只是音乐的声音实在太美妙了！而音乐是变化多端的，所以有快有慢。我也喜欢跳舞，因为跳舞可以有优美的音乐伴着我的步子，而且我还可以有一个优美的身姿，因为这样我就喜欢上了舞蹈。我为什么喜欢上了唱歌呢？是因为我读一年级的时候，有一次音乐老师叫我去表演，表演完了我觉得我很有唱歌的天赋，所以我就是这样喜欢上了唱歌。

I am xx.  I was born in xx.  I graduate from senior high school and major in English.  I started learning English since I was 12 years old.  My parents have a lot of American friends.  That’s why I have no problem communicating with Americans or others by speaking English.

In my spare time, I like to do anything relating to English such as listening to English songs, watching English movies or TV programs, or even attending the activities held by some English clubs or institutes.  I used to go abroad for a short- term English study.  During that time, I learned a lot of daily life English and saw a lot of different things.

I think language is very interesting.  I could express one substanceby using different sounds.  So I wish I could study and read more English literatures and enlarge my knowledge.

倘若我是一汪水，不必苦苦追寻，自可滋养一片叶茂花繁，如锦似霞。

一直以来，中华传统文化都是我的最爱。那一句句做人学习的道理，我奉为至理名言。时间久了，却发现周围不少人的做法与此不同，甚至是背道而驰。我不解，我疑惑，甚至是埋怨。直到有一天我看到了《大学》中的一句话。

“欲治其国者，先齐其家，欲齐其家者，先修其身。”

原来，根源在于我自己呀。先修其身，先修其身。就是让自己美好，自己美好了，才能够影响到他人，才而让世界变得美好。

于是我制定了严格的作息计划，每天五点起床，收拾房屋，擦洗器具。正如朱子治家格言中所说：“黎明即起，洒扫庭除，要内外整洁。”起床时尚未天亮，我便能够欣赏到日将升未升，染就云朵红成不同的深浅，如牡丹吐蕊，从内向外花瓣层层叠叠而开。我看到早起晨练的人们迎着初升的太阳，尽情舒展四肢。我看到这世界多么美好。而妈妈也在我的影响下，养成了早睡早起的习惯。

我开始积极地同别人交流，认真并微笑的同同学交谈，听他们倾吐心声。我规定自己要给他人带去欢乐，不能给别人带去忧伤。于是，校园古树下面的木椅之上，樱花瓣纷飞的浪漫花树旁，爬满蔷薇的溢香围栏周围，总会不时有我和同学们的欢笑声。当我从一个不爱说话的小女孩儿，慢慢变得开朗之时，我惊讶的发现同学们原来都这么友善，这么善待我。

一棵树枝繁叶茂，自可将肆虐的雨固成清澈的地下水，涵养起来；一支花开得灿烂瑰丽，自会有蝴蝶翩然而至；一个人让自己美好，自可影响周边的人，世界也会向他展现美好的一面。“修身而后家齐，家齐而后国治，国治而后天下平。”

让自己美好。

Our school is in the west of the city. It is very big with a tall teaching building.

There are thirty classrooms, a modern library, a dinning hall and a gym. There is a big playground where we often have sports. There are lots of trees and flowers beside the playground. There are more than five hundred students and teachers in our school and we all work hard.

Our school is so beautiful that we all like it very much.
