暑假里，我们一家决定去北京游玩，这天下午，我和爸爸妈妈定了去北京的火车票。第二天，火车开到了北京，我们下了火车，开始在北京游玩几天。

在离天安门不远处有一个集散中心，只要在那里定了票，就可以到八达岭长城，我们坐上集散中心的车赶往八达岭长城。

没过多久，汽车上了八达岭高速公路，一小时后，汽车上了山路。左右两边的青山云雾缭绕，拔地而起。突然，前方一座山上，有一处隐隐约约的长城，慢慢的越来越大，一整座山都是，接着，汽车过了居庸关，来到八达岭。

可刚下了客车，想不到下起了鹅毛大雨，我们立刻买了雨披，就开始登长城了，我们看了看，哇！八达岭长城真高呀！翘首望去，一山连一山，一峰高一峰，连绵不断，蜿蜓伸展，现在下着雨，景色像蒙了一层砂一样，显得格外美丽。我们走过一段台阶，便到了坡地。长城上，有的地方似平坦，走起路来却是爬山的感觉；有的地方看上去很陡，那走起来就更艰难了。越往上爬，却越陡，把我害怕得直发抖，上山下山，上山下山，不知过了多少砖，也不知越过了多少座山，我们累得精疲力尽了，再加上天上的大雨，望了望前面的最高楼台，咬了咬牙，又开始爬了起来。

还有最后一段台阶就到终点了，有很多人都放弃了，可我和爸爸妈妈没有放弃，而是继续爬了起来，我手扶着栏杆，一步一步地往上爬，好险呀！要是不小心就会摔下去，望着前面的台阶，我拼尽全力地往上爬，不知过了多长时间，终于到了终点，我高兴极了，这时我才体会到毛主席的提词；不到长城非好汉，我想我也算是一个小男子汉了。

爬了长城，我可知道有多累了，不知道古人是怎么建造的，这么长的长城那肯定把人不给累坏了，以前没有现代机器，都是一砖一瓦扛上去的，古代人真了不起，创造了这么宏伟的万里长城，一定付出了巨大的艰辛！

This summer vacation, I went to Beijing.

It was a very great city!

We went to the Great Wall first.Like its name,it was very great.We can see many mountians around.

Then we went to visit Tianan Men Square.It was also fantastic.

We lived in a small house in a Beijing Hutung, it was a traditional Beijing building called four-section compound.

I enjoyed myself a lot.
