Since I go to high school, I live in the school and stay away from my

parents.

I have three roommates. At the beginning, we have trouble in staying in the

same room, but now we have got used to it. One of my roommates impresses me so

much. Since she came to our room, she has kept the habit of reading novels when

we go to bed. She told me that when she lived with her parents, she dared not to

read because her mother would blame her for sleeping late. Now she is very happy

我们中国人自苦以来，就有埋头苦干的人，有拼命硬干的人，有为民请命的人，有舍身求法的人，有追求真理的人……

我认为中国人实在邓稼先、钱学森爆炸第一颗原子弹时找回自信力的，那时的中国人全部都欢呼着，我看着录像带，心中也有股冲劲，可想可知在当时人们心里那种真实的感情。

可时的国民党只一味的相信国联，把希望都寄托在国联身上，仰人鼻息，自欺自人的丑恶现象都掩盖了。

我们中国人有并不失掉自信力的中国人在，他们是中国人的脊梁，鼓舞了人民的斗志和名族的信心，他们是飘扬的旗帜、是不朽的丰碑。

淡淡的友情弥漫在四季里，氤氲在空气之中，闭上眼，细细品味，仿佛又能感受到你清新的鼻息……

友情——春风飘来的花香。

还记得吗?那年春天，我们初次相见。我还依晰记得你的笑容，淡淡的，甜甜的，像一阵淳淳的花香从身边飘过。后来，我们成为了形影不离的好朋友。我们喜欢牵着手，走在放学的路上，花香满径，那是春的味道，花的味道，友情的味道。

友情——夏雨逝来的清凉。

酷热的夏季，炎炎烈日炙烤着我们的心。又面临着期末考试的压力，我摇着头哀叹人生的悲惨。“嘿!又在发呆呢!”我转过头，是你，依旧是那么笑容满面。你将一听可乐递给我，我伸手去接，触及到冰凉的感觉。像夏季里的一缕清风，吹拂着脸庞。喝着冰可乐，看着你的笑容，感受你的关心，再看看那红似火球的太阳，已不再令我心烦气躁了。坐在树阴下，翻看着历史、语文、政治，那枯燥无味的文字却似乎多了些诗意。夏季里，我寻觅那一缕清凉，雨水的清凉，友情的清凉。

友情——秋风捎来的枫叶。

萧瑟的秋色装点世界，心也随着片片枯叶飘逝，坠落。灰色的天空，把心情都变的黯淡。伏在桌上，任繁杂的思绪侵蚀着我的大脑。手机铃声响起，传来你温馨的问候，我能感受到电话旁的你依旧带着笑容。你说，要多出去锻炼身体，不要天天呆在屋子里，天冷了，要多穿一些衣服……友情是不会被距离阻隔的，即便是在寂寞的深秋，也会捎来问候的枫叶。

友情——冬季飘零的雪花。

冰天雪地之中，我们拍着手，笑着看着堆好的雪人，傻傻的，你说像我，我还为此生气了呢。最令我难忘的是那一次，我给你看我冻的发紫的手。谁知你是如此的生气，还责骂我为什么不多穿些保暖的衣服，为什么不戴手套……那是我第一次感到被骂的幸福。今天，又下雪了，雪花飘零，携手走在雪地上，身后留下一排排脚印。那是我们走过的路，是我们友谊的见证。

四季交替，友谊不变。我们已一起度过了三年的美好时光。友情已成为我生活中的空气，没有它，难以呼吸。

Aducation is not an end, but a means to an end. In other words, we do not educate children only for educating them. Our purpose is to fit them for life.

In some modern countries it has been fashionable to think that free education for all can solve all the problems of society and build a perfect nation. But we can already see that free education for all is not enough.We find in such countries a far larger number of people with university degrees refusing to do what they think is "low"work, and. in fact, working with ones hands is thought to be dirty and shameful in such countries.

But we have only to think a moment to understand that the work of a completely uneducated farmer is far more important than that of a professor~ we can live without education,but we die if we have no food. If no one cleaned our streets and took the rubbish away from our houses, we should get terrible diseases in our towns.

In fact, when we say that all of us must be educated to fit us for life, it means that we must be educated in such a way that, firstly, each of us can do whatever work is suited to his brains and ability and, secondly, that we can realize that all jobs are necessary to society, and that it is very bad to be ashamed of ones work. Only such a type of education can be considered valuable to society.

The Scandinavian countries are much admired all over the world for their enlightened social policies. Sweden has evolved an excellent system for protecting the individual citizen from high-handed or incompetent public officers. The system has worked so well, that it has been adopted in other countries too.

The Swedes were the first to recognize that public officials like civil servants, police officers, health inspectors or tax-collectors can make mistakes or act over-zealously in the belief that they are serving the public. As long ago as 1809, the Swedish Parliament introduced a scheme to safeguard the interest of the individual. A parliamentary committee representing all political parties appoints a person who is suitably qualified to investigate private grievances against the State. The official title of the person is Justiteombudsman, but the Swedes commonly refer to him as the J. O. or Ombudsman. The Ombudsman is not subject to political pressure. He investigates complaints large and small that come to him from all levels of society. As complaints must be made in writing, the Ombudsman receives an average of 1, 200 letters a year. He has eight lawyer assistants to help him and he examines every single letter in detail. There is nothing secretive about the Ombudsmans work, for his correspondence is open to public inspection. If a citizens complaint is justified, the Ombudsman will act on his behalf. The action he takes varies according to the nature of the complaint. He may gently reprimand an official or even suggest to parliament that a law be altered. The following case is a typical example of the Ombudsmans work.

A foreigner living in a Swedish village wrote to the Ombudsman complaining that he had been ill-treated by the police, simply because he was a foreigner. The Ombudsman immediately wrote to the Chief of Police in the district asking him to send a record of the case. There was nothing in tthe record to show that the foreigners complaint was justified and the Chief of Police strongly denied the accusation. It was impossible for the Ombudsman to take action, but when he received a similar complaint from another foreigner in the same village, he immediately sent one of his lawyers to investigate the matter. The lawyer ascertained that a policeman had indeed dealt roughly with foreigners on several occasions. The fact that the policeman was prejudiced against foreigners could not be recorded in the official files. It was only possible for the Ombudsman to find this out by sending one of his representatives to check the facts. The policeman in question was severely reprimanded and was informed that if any further complaints were lodged against him, he would be prosecuted. The Ombudsmans prompt action at once put an end to an unpleasant practice which might have gone unnoticed.

面对这成功，成功之后必有无数的失败与挫折，但它之所以能成功是以顽强的信念，已作自己的精神支柱。

在音乐方面，有不少人成为演奏家、作曲家、钢琴家!但自己在音乐上也有着成功与失败。

就拿当年考3级时，自己的节奏并不好，老师没有埋怨，反而给我加小课，单独辅导我，因当时还小不知道学，从此基础就半正半歪，一点也不牢，以及格告终了3级考试。那5级更不用说，比考3级还要失败，简直是一败涂地，老师不管我，让我自生自灭，最终还是

这只是好的开始，真正的“好”还在后头呢，也是挫折的开始。

这是9级与10级的冲刺，这是两个难度大的曲子，不是谱子吹奏很难，而是与伴奏配合很难。没办法，只有挺起腰板，顶着寒风，硬着头皮向前走。虽然慢、冷，风刮在脸上如同刀割之痛，但人生的星光大道上没有说是一帆风顺的，只有全靠自我的信念坚持走到底的。这时候我想起一句话!――干下去，也许只有5%的成功;不干则是100%的失败。于是硬着脸，开始革命斗争，这是成功与失败的斗争，每一方的成败全取决与你自己的信念，看着吧，胜利永远属于正义信念的一方。最终成功的是正义的信念。

这场“龙凤斗”告诉着我们，信念是由你而生，也是由你而灭，成功与信念是并存的，如果没有信念，恐怕是没有成功。但是我还是要告诉你我的信念：强者生存，弱者消亡。弱肉强食的信念是世间的信念，更是我坚定的信念!
