直到一份改革文件的下达，英仕才不那么快乐了。那是一份教育改革的文件，文件上说从今以后高中文理不分科了，什么都要学。英仕一听甚为高兴，那好啊，多学一点知识嘛。可惜事违人愿，看到月考成绩下来时，英仕傻眼了，怎么会这样呢，英仕想破脑袋也想不通。

原来由于文理不分科后什么都要学就不可能深究，略略懂懂就好，老师也知识讲一些基础知识以对付考试，而英仕却一味的深究，完全不按考试的模式来，因此门门红灯高挂。英仕很郁闷，想不通。这时他的同桌拿出语文书递给他，他看了，是陶渊明的《五柳先生传》，什么意思呢?他细细地读了一遍看到“不求甚解”有一个红色的批注——略懂!哦，我明白了!于是，老师一如既往的照本宣科，而英仕，也随波逐流，只求“略懂”了，因而在第二次月考的时候得了年级第一!老师同学们都大跌眼镜。而这个成绩也一直保持到高考。

高考完了，成绩出来了，870分(总分900分)，全省状元，清华高校，专业任选。这下可愁了，我每一科都是略懂，选什么好呢?纠结啊!

最终英仕报考了什么专业不得而知，只知晓他大学毕业后就做了一个普通的公务员，然后结婚，生子。

英仕的妻子，正是当年英仕的高中同桌——交渝，高中成绩也是十分好的，仅次于英仕，不过现在还是和英仕一样在一家公司档一个小小的公务员。

两个都单身很久了，彼此又有那么一点意思，又是高中同学，还算熟络，总之一来二往，英仕和交渝就喜结连理了，没过多久就生了个大胖小子，名叫“第恁儿”的，和英仕、交渝一样，既不随父姓也不随母姓，因为英仕和交渝都觉得，他们结合的产物就应该叫第恁儿!

一日，英仕在家听到第恁儿读《五柳先生传》，读到“不求甚解”时，英仕猛地惊醒了，当年自己就是被这个“不求甚解”给害了，自己的“大科学家”梦也给毁了，不行，不能让儿子也给毁了，正欲开口，不料一时气血攻心，猛地吐了两口血，大叫着“不求甚解”，身亡了。火化的时候，眼睛怎么睁得老大，怎么抚也闭不了。

那时候并不知道这个中年人的侧面像画的是鲁迅，只知道他的胡子很像一个隶书的“一”，如果把“一”字画得直一些，圆满一些.老师就会用红笔在下边批一个挺高的分数。于是便整天练着画中年人的胡子，精雕细刻地描画着一个个“一”。

后来读了《一面》，就在每次画画的时候，将中年人的嘴角画得翘起来，很夸张的样子。因为我猜他是喜欢孩子的，会对我笑。每每有人看了这样的画，都不相信画的是鲁迅，信了的就怪怪地看着我，然后一言不发地走掉。“他经常骂人的，很严肃。”另一些人笑嘻嘻地说，纠正我的错误。于是我就抱起画册，一言不发地走掉。
