而那勤于格物的阳明先生也恐怕是受冤了。丁先生认为他“格竹七日而不得正果”是因为他“把探究外界”误认为是探讨自己，并于后文说要“格竹”就应“栽种竹子，以研究它生长的过程，要把叶子切下来拿到显微镜下去观察”，这番话着实让人无语。我想丁先生大概是混淆了哲学和实践的概念。儒学无疑是一种哲学，而哲学是一种由内而外的思想体现，与由外及内的实践完全不同。用政治哲学家欧克肖特的话说，哲学是理论的理论，它高度抽象，与实践隔绝，它志在理解而非改变世界，而当其转化为实践时也就失去了其作为学术的学术品格。也就是说哲学本身就是要优先探索自身，然后才能推己及人的。那么这与“栽种”和“拿到显微镜下观察”又有何干呢?想来实在是可笑至极。

最后，“经书上的道理可推之于四海，传之于万世”竟也被丁先生一同否认了，他竟认为这种观点不适用于现今，这同样是混淆了概念。如果当年的马克思列宁主义没有传给“四海”的中国人，社会主义又怎会有今天的这般“伟业”呢?丁先生所谓的“现今”恐怕只能指代重视事实的实践科学，对于“百家争鸣”的哲学而言道理是永远可以传于“四海”、“万世”的。

这样看来，丁先生对儒学的态度实在有些不可思议。那么丁先生的“格物致知”就是完全错误的吗?也不尽然。以丁先生取得的成就来看，他的观点必然有其可取性。我不懂实践科学，但我想丁先生对实践的态度是绝对值得称道的，而且学习方法的问题在国内也的确屡见不鲜，丁先生能够从大体上给出解决办法着实令人敬佩。但是对于丁先生不严谨的求知态度，我们也必须加以指正。

那么，究竟什么是真正的“格物致知”呢?小人不才，目光短浅，也不敢妄下定论，但终归还是有些想法的。永远保持对事物的好奇心，并孜孜不倦地汲取知识，我想这大概就是真正的“格物致知”了。所以，只要坚持求知的态度，相信终有一天“格物致知”的真谛会浮出水面。

创建和谐社会是一种坚持以人为本、以促进人的全面发展和进步为目的的社会发展观。创建和谐社会，政府的重视和投入固然重要，但作为二十一世纪生力军的青少年，更需要为我们家乡--湛江创建和谐城市而出谋献策。

在我看来，一个和谐的社会包括三大方面：

一、人与自然的和谐。

构建和谐社会，必须充分考虑环境、资源和生态的承受能力，保持人与自然的和谐发展，实现自然资源的有偿利用。

湛江是一个美丽的港口城市，拥有丰富的农业、海产、矿产、油气及旅游资源。既然有了如此优越的生态环境，我们更应该因地制宜地开拓一条新的发展思路，即以生态环境为基础，发展无大资源能源消耗，不破坏生态环境，不造成严重污染，成本低，见效快，市场好的绿色经济。但我们在保护生态环境，走科学发展道路的同时，并不排斥当地已有的合理工业的发展，也不排斥不牺牲或少牺牲生态环境的高新技术企业的发展。尽管如此，有些排污比较严重的工厂要特别引起重视，不要让那些自然闺秀和优美的环境被臭气脏水污染损坏了，要给子孙后代留下一块安康的宝地。

只要按着科学的发展观办事，就会取得既保护了生态环境，发展了经济的双赢结果，也带来一个人与自然的和谐社会。p

二、人与社会的和谐。

众所周知，湛江凭着经济快速成长，已经开始慢慢跻身于小康地区，无论是人均本地生产总值，还是居民的年平均收入，都有所上升。但是，贫穷仍然是湛江挥之不去的难题。

首先，部分人长期生活在贫困线之下，家庭开支紧绌不堪。再者，贫富差距不仅没有缩小，反而有越来越扩大的趋势。随着农村产业结构调整步伐加快以及国企改革的不断深入，农村富余劳动力和企业下岗失业人员就业压力日益加大。

一个贫困人口大量存在，贫富悬殊又日益扩大的社会，难免形成贫富对立，矛盾加剧，直接影响社会的和谐稳定。可以说，结合社会力量，下决心解决贫穷问题的工作已经刻不容缓。因此，我们要以满腔热忱树立群众利益无小事的观念，尽心尽力为群众办实事。单靠间断性的慰问和救济无法从根本上解决问题。那么，我们又应该从哪方面着手落实呢?

首先就是要增加农民收入，其次就是要加大力度解决就业与再就业问题，再者要完善社会福利保障系统。

只有主动进位，运用市场、合同、商标监管等职能，帮助群众谋发展;延伸职能，深化服务层次，及时地排解群众生产、生活中出现的各种难题;帮在群众最需要的地方，服务在群众最需要的时刻;用服务特殊群体来支持发展;真心实意地支持实施再就业工程;通过结对帮扶等手段解决一部分特困户就业问题，才能从根本上缓和这种矛盾，从而创建一个人与社会和谐的社会。

三，公共治理与社会的和谐。

我个人理解，现代社会基本由三类组织构成：一类是公共部门，一类是企业，一类是非营利组织，这三者能否各司其职，对社会的和谐有直接的影响。

政府是凌驾在社会之上最具权威的公共机构，它代表的是公平、代表的是正义，在社会上面凌驾了很多很多机构，如大学、医院等。但除了政府之外，任何其他机构都不具备政府这样的职能。政府的公共政策、制度安排是否得当，会直接影响公共治理的和谐;而公共治理的和谐与否，又会直接影响到一个国家一定时期人与自然、人与社会的和谐。正是从这个角度上，我认为公共治理的和谐不仅是和谐社会的重要组成部分，而且是决定其他和谐要素是否和谐最关键的因素。

由此可见，公共治理在和谐的社会构建中，扮演着非常重要的脚色。四、公民道德素质与社会和谐。

我们说，构建社会主义和谐社会是一项系统工程，如同建造一座宏伟大厦的系统工程一样，需要三个支撑点把所有工程结构联结为一个有机整体：有了和谐的经济关系、和谐的政治制度、还要有和谐的公民素质。

一个和谐社会是一个有责任的社会，没有责任感，任何社会都不会长期繁荣和可持续发展，没有责任感，市场就会唯利是图，个人的发展就会变得冷漠自私，这会造成严重的社会不稳定。我们经常看到许多社会问题的形成正是由于缺乏责任感产生的。在任何一种情况下，没有责任感的社会，其凝聚力就会大大被削弱，社会的和谐程度更会受到损害。

责任不仅仅是政府的，也是全社会的。因此作为这片红土地的一份子，我们应积极担负起社会和家庭赋予我们的各种责任：首先公民应具有良好的社会公德意识;第二，公民应具有高度的诚信意识;第三、公民应具有强烈的社会责任意识。

只有提高个人的道德素质，以良好的职业道德和社会责任感，满腔热情地投入“百姓创家业、能人创企业、干部创事业”的大潮中去，爱岗敬业、恪尽职守、开拓创新，才能真正为建设和谐平安湛江尽责。

五、青少年健康成长与社会和谐。

在整个社会中，广大青少年与构建社会主义和谐社会的关系最为密切。当前部分青少年中出现的理想信念模糊、思想道德滑坡、社会责任感缺失，甚至在外来错误思潮和社会不良文化的诱惑和侵蚀下，走向违法犯罪，严重干扰社会的和谐与稳定，已成为一个突出的社会问题。因此，不断加强和改进青少年的思想道德建设，对于构建社会主义和谐社会有着重大的现实意义。

其中，“传承”、“引导”、“关爱”、“保护”是对待当代青少年的四个主要环节。通过教育，促使青少年学习继承民族精神和革命传统，全面提高青少年的整体素质。用青少年易于接受的形式和载体，动之以情，晓之以理，导之以行，把社会主义思想道德生动具体、细致入微地融入青少年成长的各个环节，才能引导他们健康成长。还要特别注意发挥青少年自身追求进步的内在潜能，捕捉他们身上微小的闪光点，适当地引导他们克服浮躁心理，保持平和心态，理性对待各种矛盾冲突，从构建和谐班级、和谐家庭、和谐社区、和谐校园做起，自觉为家庭和睦和社会和谐做出贡献。

总而言之，社会的和谐是发展是创业的前提与最终目标。
